81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: August 11, 2018, 07:41:36 PM
I don't think so because almost all of the BIG investors are claiming big profit in ICO and we can say that ICO is still the best investment that we can do in cryptocurrency except in trading of course because it required skills to earn more money in the cryptocurrency.

I do not think that ICO's are the best investment in 2018, most of them had fell upto 90% their ICO price on exchanges. Projects were more legit in 2017, this year most of them are total scam. It's better to hodl your eth than give it to scammy ICO's. Better research older projects, that still have decent development going on.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 700 usd to invest on: August 11, 2018, 03:40:44 PM
Wait for bitcoin to go back to 1400$, which it will in 4-5 months, then buy BTC with your 700$, and then hodl for a year or two.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EOS will hit $ 30 in Q2 2018? on: August 11, 2018, 02:25:07 AM
For sure EOS is the best coin on the world, they have better potentional than other coins because EOS has blockchain v.941. EOS solves every problem in the world. EOS is a direct competitor of the US dollar because EOS is much faster and more stable. In the world of EOS is nothing impossible.  Cool Roll Eyes

lol i've literally never read a comment so blatantly wrong. You think a bridge full of holes and fires is still a good bridge because the holes can be patched and the fires can be put out? Yeah sure some cars may fall into the river or catch fire, but we'll worry about that later, right? That's literally how the devs released their 'product'. In a few years, we'll look back at this time and realise projects like EOS contributed to the bubble burst. They're riding the blockchain wave, nothing more. also, a direct competitor of the dollar? Explain to me how, please.

i think he was jokinjg

I wouldn't be sure about it, I've seen Eos supporters on this forum get more fired up than the bitconnect guy lol. Either way, I don't think Eos is bad per se, but they just released it way too soon, and the amount of funding they got was plain ridiculous

It needs some dapps to succeed like eth reached 30, when it already has dapps like golem, etc. to make it worth a while. Lets see how EVO and the likes perfom. Else EOS can easily turn int an exit scam.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is altcoin is too riscky to invest now ? on: August 11, 2018, 02:22:39 AM
Even share market, mutual fund and gold investments is risky. It depends on the investor, where they put the money into. That's what separate good investor from bad one. If you invest in shitcoins, don't expect to be a millionaire anytime soon.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the most stable altcoin? on: August 11, 2018, 02:20:55 AM
As far as stability goes, Tether is the most stable coin  Tongue. But jokes apart Maker Dao is worth looking at. Also once Bitbay's rolling peg comes, it will be very stable.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 2 altcoins to invest in NOW. on: August 11, 2018, 02:18:04 AM
Check out ruby-X. It's a new exchange. Given the past success of exchange tokens such as binance, huobi, bibox, aurora and kucoin, I think it is scheduled to go up after it hits the market. Other than that look at republic and sharder tokens, selling below their ico price, and can breakout easily once market stabilizes.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could Ethereum be dumped to $300? on: August 11, 2018, 02:14:46 AM
Looking at the market, it looks like eth will soon be below 200$. Do not let any slight movement upwards fool you. We are still in a bear market since start of the year. It will take atleast 6 months fr the market to stabilize.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is market going back up to 8k? on: August 11, 2018, 02:12:47 AM
I seriously do not think it will go back to 8k any time sooner We are in a massive bear market, it can go sub 4k easily rather than touching 8k. Better to wait for price drop to buy more.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: August 02, 2018, 09:52:17 AM
https://thefinancialanalyst.net/2018/08/01/sbi-considers-ripple-roll-out/

National lender State Bank of India is reported to be considering a tie-up with cryptocurrency firm Ripple to power instant remittance payments into the country.

The crypto-firm has seen rapid growth in interest in the country following news last month that Kotak Mahindra Bank would implement its xCurrent system for payments. India’s finance sector has expanded greatly in recent years and the country is now the largest receiver of remittances, with some U$69 billion flowing into the country in 2017.

Originally created from the Bank of Calcutta, making it the oldest commercial bank in the Indian subcontinent, SBI is the largest bank in India with a 23% market share in assets, alongside a share of one-fourth of the total loan and deposits market

“Ripple established a Mumbai office in 2017 and aggressively began partnering with financial institutions across the country to improve access to services for consumers and businesses, alike,” a spokesperson for Ripple commented.

Last month, Ripple announced that Kotak Mahindra Bank will add its  1300 branches to the RippleNet decentralized network of payment providers. Kotak will use xCurrent to power instant remittance payments into the country.

“Improving remittances services into and out of India means less fees and more money for families who rely on those funds that are sent home… This trend is increasing across payment providers and banks inside and outside of the country — further underscoring the mounting opportunity in remittances to India from around the world,” Brad Garlinghouse, Ripple CEO, said.

Big if true

This is utter bullshit, there is no proof of it, Crypto has negative sentiments in India. Please share link with backing, than making sand castles in air.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I earned $ 3500 from the 1 airdrop on: August 01, 2018, 09:43:46 AM
I hope OP is very lucky because most of the Airdrops collecting people information and scamming the people. This makes me not to join in any of the Airdrop because sometimes we are losing because most of the people still, don't how technical work here.

last year i earned 6000 dollars from a bounty. i didnt change it to eth or btc, or dollar.

now it is only 90 dollar.

Feel you. I had 12000 $$ from elix airdrop, now it's worth only a couple of thousands. Cry
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I late to the party? on: August 01, 2018, 08:45:03 AM
Yes too late, no point in staying here for 2x-3x, you already missed 100x.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to gain income from crypto 1k$/month on: August 01, 2018, 08:42:04 AM
Buy coins that pay dividends like sharpe or taas. If you accumulate good amount then you can easily earn that much money every month through dividends.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying low-volume tokens? on: August 01, 2018, 08:40:34 AM
Even if you are buying, you should never hodl for long term. Just take profit, while you still can. Else it will get delisted from everywhere, and will be a dead coin in no time.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs in 2018 not same as 2017. on: August 01, 2018, 08:36:50 AM
The new ICO's are more greedy than the older one's. And last year, there was actually some great projects that did the ICO, like BAT, status, civic, rlc, people were excited about. Most of them are genuine projects with development continuing, but the new ones are just scams.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should buy and hold NEO? on: August 01, 2018, 08:34:38 AM
I believe in IT, its value will increase by the end of the year. Now the market is falling, and it's time to buy NEO .

Not sure, with good development of aeternity and tezos coming around in few days, this smart contract space is getting crowded. NEO has a whole year, and only handful of projects are built on it.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lost etherwallet private key? on: August 01, 2018, 08:33:29 AM
If you have ever download keystore/UTC file then it would be recover otherwise there is no way to recover it buddy.

was about to say the same thing, else there is no way to recover. Thats why always make cold backups.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Favorite Altcoin. on: August 01, 2018, 08:30:46 AM
The coin that pays the rent aka dividends. Sharpe, Taas, brickblock, horse, etc. If any other coin is just bragging based on a whitepaper, while its market share keeps going down, is not the worth for its salt.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Crying about Crypto! on: August 01, 2018, 08:27:55 AM
Crypto has a long way to go. The day it surpasses market cap of Apple as a whole, then others will start taking it seriously.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When your token goes down hard, are you going to sell it? on: August 01, 2018, 08:26:47 AM
Sometimes i do, when i feel that market will go down more, then I buy back at much cheaper rate. Sometimes even doubled my bags with this strategy.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: August 01, 2018, 08:25:33 AM
I figure ethereum will dependably be a decent coin. In spite of the fact that its esteem isn't as high as bitcoin, it is exceptionally steady that is make it a dependable coin. Likewise, regular, there are a considerable measure of tokens present which depend on ethereum stage, so it implies it will remain in the market for so long. Its a decent that you put resources into both bitcoin and ethereum. Coins should you have as much as possible. In any case, you should never put such a great amount of cash in coins that you're not stand to lose. Keep in mind these are for the most part advanced cash. Its exceptionally unusual. Possibly the coins are doing great today or for the following couple of months, however you'll never know when it will abruptly drop. So you need to contribute astutely and differentiate.

The only alt that will replace BTC soon, so no point in staying away. Eth has smart contracts and 100's of projects are building on top of it every day. What does BTC do, compared to eth?
