81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Secure your crypto wealth by not having it all in crypto on: December 21, 2023, 12:08:44 PM
Diversifying your assets or investments is a must. There is always a scene that we will never be expected to happen, even if we always make sure of the security of our wallet, the hackers will always find a way to breach our security. Even in our cryptocurrency holdings, we should consider using different wallets to avoid losing all of it if our wallet gets hacked.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do you take out your investment when in profit? on: December 20, 2023, 02:31:36 PM
A lot of my altcoins have pumped over the last month or so and it has got me wondering when the best time is to take out initial investment.

Is it too early to take it out once you have doubled your money , is waiting till you have done a 5x or more too greedy?

My best investment so far has been Myria - I got lucky with this one and bought pretty much at the bottom a few months ago and I took my investment out last week once it did a 10x so I am now holding a bag of Myria with no risk.

I have other altcoins I am holding that I am up 3 or 4x on but have not taken profit yet but thinking of doing so , just take my investment out then I am holding more with no risk.

What does everyone else do when it comes to altcoins?
x5 or more in altcoins is not impossible when it comes to altcoins. However, in terms of making a profit, it's all up to you what would be your target profit. When investing in altcoins, you should always set a target price of when you should take your profit, by either selling all your holdings or selling only half until you reach your target price.
83  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bakit ganito ang BInance ngayon? on: December 20, 2023, 02:14:07 PM

Again, hinde naman talaga advisable to hold sa kahit anong exchange at syempre marami ang FUD dyan kaya wag  magpapanic basta basta, sa ngayon let’s wait for final decision and believe that Binance is doing something about this.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing altcoins now or during halving? on: December 19, 2023, 11:07:21 AM
Now! since the dominance of bitcoin is already very high. The probability of there being an altcoin season increases considerably. But remember, the risk is yours! do your own studies and analysis.
I agree that before doing anything, it is very important not to hesitate to analyze it properly, because it will determine what you want to do later. It is certain that all actions taken will have an impact on oneself. Everyone can only give suggestions, and every suggestion can be good or possibly wrong.
Looking at the current situation of Bitcoin and the halving era, it is possible that a correction could occur, but it is also possible that it will continue to improve. But there's no harm in immediately investing in a good altcoin because the time for improvement is coming soon.

I consider a drop to the 35k USD price range a healthy correction, but it is impossible to say for sure.

The best thing is to always buy little by little, practicing DCA, if the price drops a lot you still have cash to buy more, and if it goes up you are already bought.

Altcoins are very risky and you need to be careful and know exactly what you are doing.
We will never really know what will happen in the market in the upcoming days. Many of us expect the market to have a healthy correction but there seems to be something stopping it and it continues to recover even after a small dump. What you have suggested is the best option, by doing DCA, we can at least purchase any cryptocurrency of our choice. Accumulating early is better than regretting it in the future.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you withdraw your cryptocurrency from an exchange to a bank account on: December 17, 2023, 11:44:02 AM
Today i went to 5 banks to ask if they would be any problem withdrawing my crypto from an exchange to the bank. I let them know, i will have all the evidence they will need. they seemed very hostile to the topic of crypto. one bank went as far to tell me to not buy crypto.
I came across a lovely lady Today in the bank and she honestly let me know that i should not withdraw my crypto and deposit it to the bank because the bank will freeze the account even if you have evidence, because they do not know how to deal with the asset. I am from the United kingdom and would like to know the safest way to withdraw my crypto and put it in a bank

thank you for your comments
I've been using p2p to withdraw my funds from crypto. There are CEX that offers p2p like Binance, bybit, and kucoin. You may try to check the banks accepted on those exchanges that you can use or accept in your country. That way, you can easily withdraw your funds without being questioned by the bank.

Also, you don't have to go to different banks to discuss things such as withdrawing money from crypto to your bank. You will only let other people have their eyes on you. This is based on my experience.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who lost money due to dogecoin? on: December 17, 2023, 11:25:48 AM
So we all remember the time when dogecoin first came out, it was such a hyped-up altcoin, and everybody was excited about it. People start investing into the coin, and then it ends up sky rocketing! Who here was one of the people who invested into dogecoin while it was around the 60 cent mark, and wanted it to go up even higher, but then ended up losing a ton of money? Well I’m one of those people, and currently, dogecoin seems to be doomed, and I haven’t seen it get past the 10 cent mark in so long, and doubt that it will anytime soon. Coin doesn’t seem to be going anywhere, so for that could we get an RIP dogecoin in the chat? 😢🙏
Doge is a meme coin, during that time I only focused on buying Bitcoin and top altcoins in the market so I didn't get to invest in doge. I feel bad that you have invested at a higher value. But don't lose hope, we are not in the bull season, doge will probably be one of those altcoins that will make a rally. Investing in doge is risky but if ever it makes a comeback and you already made a profit, grab that chance and sell your holdings. Don't make the same mistake twice.

89  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Stables Wallet on: December 16, 2023, 08:23:19 AM
Pero all in all, good option pa rin ito.

Ang withdrawal option lang natin is crypto to stablecoin to fiat.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i need your help, i forget to save the latest word of my seed on: December 16, 2023, 07:54:13 AM
The “latest words” what does that mean? At first I thought you meant the last word in the mnemonic phrase but this seems different. I’ve never had a wallet that held just doge, but I equally do not think that there’s a way the mnemonic phrases change. Can you clarify on this? But then, with the little information, if the whole words is what you mean, you’ve lost it, but if you mean the last word, then maybe you can try from each and every of the words used by BIP39. Yes, 2,048 words but your funds may be worth even more tries if need be. But if it’s the last two words (for instance), you won’t be making just 2,048 tries but 2,094,624 tries (I think).
Here's the additional information from OP, it is in the first page.
Basically, OP is using unielon wallet, and what he means by "the latest word" is actually "the Last word" of the seed phrase. Your suggestion of forcing it by using 2048 words is possible, but to do that, it might probably take him at least 6 hours or more to solve his seed phrase.
Hey ty lot for your answer,

i'am using unielon wallet which is used to generated 12 random word (same as ethereum wallet or bitcoin wallet). I'am not using the wallet with auth and email etc from dogecoin website. I don't know how i should brute force the latest word. Any help would be very helpful guys!

93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Craze for Meme coins never ends? on: December 15, 2023, 10:56:16 AM
He probably has everything it takes to take the risk of investing in a meme coin just because the logo was cute. There are only a few people who can probably do that because most of the people who invest in meme coins are being invited by someone they know and getting influenced by the possible earnings they can get if it pumps.

95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How exactly do you find new tokens before they blow up. on: December 14, 2023, 12:02:37 PM
What do I do to find new tokens that are possible to blow up or before they increase their prices? I always look for an altcoin that has had no progress for a few years back. There are some altcoins that the last ath happened last 2018 to 2019. But before I invest to those altcoins, I always make sure to find an information about the altcoins to confirm that the altcoin is not a dead project.

98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Confident Are you With Altcoin In This Time on: December 14, 2023, 10:53:47 AM
Do you consider any altcoin to be pf future profiting, if yes then what is the percentage calculation of your confidence level in that coin and why should we hold them for a long-term basis?
Of course, I have a few altcoins that I have my eyes on. There are a lot of altcoins that seems to be sleeping giant that will make noise once it starts moving soon. Those are the altcoins that I started to accumulate right now. Regarding my confidence level, I don't know how to measure my confidence in those altcoins, but all I know is that those altcoins can give a large multiplier if the bull run starts.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from crypto influencers on: December 13, 2023, 12:38:51 PM
these ‘crypto influencers’ are mostly all grifters, absolute bullshitters pushing shitcoins on poor, gullible dreamers. Do your own research & don’t fall for their snake oil. There are loads of these scumbags, Ben Armstrong is one of the worst aka BitBoy. You have the likes of Crypto BitLord who is a total scammer. It’s a shame because most of these guys started early in Bitcoin but through greed got sucked into shilling scammy altcoins to their gullible followers.
I heard that name Bitboy before and actually attempt to do one of his giveaway, but after reading the comments on that post, I change my mind. You are right that he is not trusted now. Same goes to many other influencers. Money truly changes the attitude of a person. It only sucks that even their reputations are already destroyed, they still can get a promotion and then there are still people who blindly believe on them.

I salute those pioneers who didn't go on the same path. They are already contented on what they are earning through their antique cryptos as that was still a huge amount. And they are at peace because they don't do harm to others.
They won't be called influencers if they can't influence their viewers. Just like what happened to you, you almost tried to do one of his giveaways. Influencers will do anything and say anything good to get more people attracted to what they promote. That's where they get their money from.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum price before Christmas on: December 13, 2023, 11:58:57 AM
Hello,
If someone has made a loss in buying and selling Ethereum, what is your suggestion? Should he\she hold Ethereum?
Is it possible for the price to reach $2300 before Christmas?

Thanks.
I suggest to that person to continue holding Ethereum. Don't ever sell it if he/she is at a loss. All the losses he sees right now are just a paper loss, it will only be a loss if he decides to sell it. No one can tell if Ethereum will reach that price or if any other crypto in the market will increase before Christmas. But the only thing we all know is that the bull run hasn't even started yet.
