The basic summary is that the dev for ELITE has disappeared and most likely dumped his coins when the price went above $1.00

A few of the holders of ELITE decided that we had the beginnings of a good community and wanted to do something to keep the coin going but there was no way we could get control of the coins, website, twitter etc so Philicibine took the first step and created a new coin called ELYTE which wants to continue the ideas behind ELITE and turn ELYTE into an actual Ethereum currency.

We've started a new thread and a new Telegram group so far. The first task is to distribute ELYTE coins to everyone who still holds ELITE coins. You don't have to give anything or pay anything to receive your ELYTE so there is no risk to you.

If everyone gives the same support to ELYTE then we can make it much more successful than ELITE and people who lost money on buying ELITE will have another opportunity to make something of their investment.

Again, I would ask you to read through the announcement thread here and feel free to ask any questions over there. This is going to be a community-led project without any risk to current ELITE holders so please spread the word.

For me personally, the proof will be in the pudding.

This is the first time the devs have committed to any kind of date for the launch of the new blockchain. That means I'm willing to wait for the rest of this month before I draw any conclusions about this project.

If the new blockchain is released and the coin hits exchanges then you can't call this a scam. You can make criticisms of the game, the company structure etc but if the project continues to move forward then that's the opposite of a scam.

A scammer would have disappeared long ago.
A scammer wouldn't continue to develop the game.
A scammer wouldn't build a new blockchain and then commit to a November launch date.

I also disagree that the game is shit. It isn't the best fantasy game out there but it has been continuously improved since it was launched, suggestions from the community have been taken on board and I'm sure the game will continue to improve with constructive criticism.

Whether it's a scam or not, we only have to wait another 3 weeks or so to find out.

If you have money invested in this project then surely it would be better to wait a few weeks to see if the November launch goes ahead?

Why would you try to disrupt a project when it's this close to completion after so many months of waiting?

Your concerns and questions are legitimate but if your main goal is to get your money back then it doesn't make sense to wait so long only to disrupt a project when it's a few weeks away from launching and giving you the opportunity to get your money out.

Either you're a bot or you have another agenda but so far you haven't given a single reason as to why you think ELITE will do well when the developer has already pulled a scam and left.

If that's the case then there won't be any problems, you'll just have to give Philicibine a bit of time to check everything out as he won't be online for a few hours yet.

If you are genuine then you'll get your coins and an apology for the suspicion.

You are suspected of being the dev who scammed everyone with ELITE coin.

If you can prove to Philicibine that you aren't the same person then you'll get your coins otherwise you won't get any ELYTE.

Also, in response to the person who said that ELYTE has no website, no roadmap, etc.

This is because, as stated on the ELYTE thread, our first priority is to make sure every ELITE holder is aware that we are restarting the project under the name ELYTE and has a chance to claim their new coins.

This won't cost you anything, you don't have to send us your ELITE or take any risks.

You simply have to claim your ELYTE coins as the whole purpose of ELYTE is to help people who want to revive this project with community input.

Once the deadline has passed, we will then distribute remaining coins to the community and start the process of roadmap, website, CMC listing, new exchanges etc.

And I'm sure there will be bounties available for people who can help out with some of the above.

What is your reason for buying ELITE and suggesting a long-hold?

Do you realise that the dev has been missing for 2 weeks and this project is now dead?

What do you think is going to happen to increase the value of this coin?

I'm genuinely curious about why people still believe in this coin.

Also, ELITE is worth $0.08 right now, not anywhere close to the $1.2 you claim.

And as has already been pointed out, YOU DON'T NEED TO GIVE YOUr ELITE TO ME OR ANYONE ELSE IN ORDER TO CLAIM YOUR ELYTE!

You just have to prove that you own ELITE in order to be eligible to receive your free ELYTE so there is no risk to you at all.

If you have ELITE then you can still keep them and claim your ELYTE as well.

How do you think it will go to the moon?

The dev has pulled a scam and dumped a lot of ELITE. He is probably waiting for gullible people to buy more so the price rises slightly and he can dump more.

Or maybe you are the dev, creating a bunch of new accounts to try and pump ELITE so you can sell off what you have left.

You don't actually have to send your ELITE to anyone. You just have to prove that you own those ELITE in the first place.

I apologise if that was misleading and I'll try to make that clearer but if you read the instructions on how to claim your ELYTE you can see that it doesn't involve sending your ELITE to anyone.

Please can you point out where anyone was asked to send their ELITE?

The roadmap will be similar to the one for ELITE. The reason we're all here is because we liked that project and would have liked it to continue so we don't need to reinvent the wheel.

But the immediate focus is on getting all the previous ELITE holders to swap their coins as they have first rights. After that deadline has passed we will look at how to distribute the rest of the coins so we can build up trading on EtherDelta, apply for a CoinMarketCap listing, new exchanges etc.

More like those who thought that a low-supply coin which had a decent community might be worth reviving seeing as it barely lasted a week the first time around.

I think you mean ELYTE but yes, I agree.

The ATH of the previous coin was around 22k sats before the dev ran off so I'm confident that ELYTE can go a lot higher with a strong community to back it this time.

Jamesweb, as I've mentioned to you before on this thread, I asked the same questions you did in the early stages of the ICO so I hope you can be assured that I'm not a shill for FootballCoin. I would like to address a couple of points you raised.

1) Yes I was suspicious about the company structure and I would have been much happier investing in this if there had been more openness about the team behind the project. However, in the end i decided that the game was good enough and the idea had enough potential for me to take the RISK of investing in the ICO. I have a lot of sympathy for your situation due to how much you have invested and if it was me I would be sweating every day waiting for an outcome. But investing in this project was your choice based on your own research.

2) Despite what I've said in point 1, we all know that the FootballCoin team have made a lot of mistakes since the ICO. Using the CounterParty platform was perhaps the biggest mistake and is the main reason why a new blockchain was needed. I could spend hours here talking about the mistakes but we also have to acknowledge the fact that the mistake is being rectified and the developers have said the the new blockchain is being launched this month.

3) I find it hard to believe that the developers would hide your stadiums from you and would welcome some clarity from Octa on why you haven't been able to access them.

4) With regard to top players not winning you games, that's one thing that can't be blamed on the devs. The fact is that the top players haven't all had amazing starts to the season.

Pogba had a great start but has been injured for the last month or two. Ronaldo has had a shocker of a start by his own standards, Bale has injury problems and most of the Real Madrid squad have been underperforming. Messi has been fairly consistent but even he has poor weeks (I own his card so I know from experience). Lukaku and Moratta have 1 league goal between them in their last 6 games each.

But there are so many gems out there selling for cheap prices. Mohammed Salah for Liverpool has been awesome and he is very cheap to buy. Jesus Gabriel is free and one of the best performers in the Premier League. Jamaal Lascelles for Newcastle has had a string of clean sheets, as has Nick Pope who plays in goal for Burnley and Phil Jones for Man Utd. All free players.

Kieran Trippier is free, as is Ben Davies, both having brilliant seasons for Tottenham so far. Glenn Murray for Brighton is scoring goals for fun. Richarlison at Watford is showing a lot of promise. I could go on for ages but I don't follow other leagues as closely as I follow the Premier League.

My point is that expensive players don't guarantee anything when it comes to winning contests.

As for the bigger issue regarding your investment, I hope you can have a bit more patience and let this coin hit the exchanges. This is the first time the developers have committed to any kind of launch date and if I was in your position I would let it play out rather than create a big problem just before launch.
