81  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: September 18, 2014, 05:49:00 AM
For the record - I didn't receive my order.

Oh?

Did you try to downclock it? It can work at 0.5w GH. at 40 GH/S total Consumption about 25w, if you remove fan and LCD as well place smaller fan like 20 x 20 mm it will be even less. Best i got was 19 W per 40 GH, and it worked without fan. Just don't forget that you can ruin PSU without any cooling applied.

Guess some people never heard about remote access. You can access X-1 remotely and don't need to have it on hand. Figure the rest if you are so good at assigning titles.

I didn't know you could remove fans through remote access.

Sticking out and not having panic moods because of money is different things, if you can see some people believe here that Bitcoin miner on time should of made them rich. But it proves nothing, they could as well ruin BTC price much earlier same and not gain any profit rendering BTC useless with this approach, making money not BTC, any BTC enthusiast will agree. It started as alternative to common financial tools, and that world was much better before people who wanted millions by sitting on their ass (that was never meant to happen) was brought to BTC market. And i am sorry if i prefer to not whine and just accept it as my mistake and move on, working to earn what i lost. I guess that way is outrageous to some people - working and making money, so they so desperately looking for opportunity for free money that they forget, when it comes to free money, only 1 person wins, not all. And you can guess who that person is, in this case. So go ahead keep calling me Shill, just because someone does not agree with someones point of view Smiley

Thats easy to say, you have received your order!!!

I don't care about the machine making profit, I care about 9 months going by and not having a bitcoin miner i paid $6000 for. The X-3 has been shippnig for a month and the employees of Black Arrow have there orders, so where is mine?

83  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: September 17, 2014, 02:26:11 AM
how does it proove that someone can not be trusted or traded with,

Newsflash - Anyone sticking up for Black Arrow is in on the scam and cannot be trusted. Its as simple as that.

Also, Until is see an X-3 on my door step + an extra compensation unit i will continue to spread the news everywhere possible.

So did everyone stop posting here all of a sudden or is BA just deleting all the posts?

What else is there to say?  Still waiting for my X3...  That's it.

Waiting for a tracking number from BA. Payed 12/08/13 and have gotten nothing but the same old excuses.
85  Economy / Speculation / Re: Its dropping again! on: September 16, 2014, 04:31:55 AM
The rising/dropping of the price can be perfectly explained.

Hindsight is 20/20
86  Economy / Speculation / Re: Its dropping again! on: September 16, 2014, 02:07:26 AM
Bitcoin is dropping again! What is happening?  Huh Huh

Since i discovered bitcoin, it went from $230, to $1200, and back to $460. Bitcoin is being used all over the world, and it is impossible to get a grasp as to why it is rising or dropping on any given day. All you can do is buy some with money that you can afford to lose, stick the paper wallet in your "safe place" and forget about it.

If you tend to use it for buying and selling things well then just buy the bitcoin right before you make your purchase. This will eliminate the risk you take by holding...
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Visited my first Bitcoin ATM in Chicago today on: September 16, 2014, 01:50:05 AM
I don't understand why you'd do this since the fees are so extortionate... it just doesn't make sense...

For new bitcoiners it is unbelievably inconvenient to buy bitcoin. I live in Canada and i have scanned my ID, jumped through hoops, linked bank accounts, verified phone numbers you name it. Still, to this day i have never purchased bitcoin from an actual company.  I would use a BTM if i was in need of bitcoin that same day.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gotta vent - eBay/Paypal suck! AND some people are just scum on: September 16, 2014, 01:39:48 AM
The bad part is that after a buyer wins a dispute with paypal and the return is done to the seller, they will not allow the seller to leave the buyer bad feedback for the waste of time and money.

I once did this and a few days later checked to make sure i ruined his perfect feedback for all the headache he caused, nope it was back to 100% positive. eBay prunes their feedback for them so it jives with the decision that Paypal made.
89  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: September 16, 2014, 01:15:44 AM
Now you can add that BA didn't had enough time to make proper video, add that proper video is improper and cry more about everything else in the world.

But they had the time to design a new 14nm chip?
90  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow Customers - Consumer Complaints Links on: September 16, 2014, 01:10:01 AM
People don't realize one thing, even if you take everyone and go for refund, if company really spent money on parts they won't be able to refund you and will file bankruptcy instead, that means no one will get anything, not hardware not software if i understand that part with bankruptcy correctly. Or if someone could explain how it works.

We might have cared about this 5 months ago when it was profitable to mine with them. Since the miners are completely worthless now, all we have left is to go after Black Arrow.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do if you stumbled on access to the satoshin@gmx.com account? on: September 10, 2014, 05:35:45 AM
Why not? He has over 1,000,000 bitcoins scattered across many different public addresses, and they weren't worth anything back when he mined them. If he was careless enough to let 11,000 emails sit in a dormant email account for years he could be careless enough to leave an old backup with a handful of bitcoin in it. I sure hope he doesn't use only one wallet file to hold all of those coins.

What will happen, in case the hacker gains access to all these million plus Bitcoins? He will surely try to sell most of them, which will crash the exchange rate of Bitcoin instantly. Right now the daily demand is less than BTC50,000. If 1 million coins are offloaded to the market, then I fear that the exchange rate can come down to $4 from $475 right now.  Angry

If he is alive I'm sure Satoshi has the bulk of his fortune in multiple paper wallets and various types of cold storage wallets locked up in very safe places.

Search for old wallet backups and fail to crack his 36 character passwords.

Why would he have backups in this account anyway?

93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Choices for earning BTC interest on: September 10, 2014, 05:01:41 AM
Not worth the risk of having your coins vanish because someone is having technical difficulties. "We are having technical issues but are working around the clock to get it back online" = You have been goxxed and made some Chinese scammers rich.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: satoshin@gmx.com is compromised on: September 09, 2014, 08:20:19 AM
Makes me curious... how does a hacker this dumb even manage to get access to Satoshi's email address in the first place?
Click the lost password button and try to guess his birthdate over and over until he gets it right. Apparently GMX warns you after 3 incorrect attempts but will actually let you keep trying without locking the account. The "hacker" probably tried every day for a weeks until he got it correct. The hacker has changed the lost password method to "enter your alternate email" so Satoshi cant log in again.

97  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What is the safest way to generate cold storage wallets? on: September 07, 2014, 01:05:04 AM
The safest way to make a legit paper wallet is to use a laptop and printer combo that has never, nor will ever be connected to the internet. Save bitaddress.htm to a USB stick with your normal computer, insert into offline computer and scan it for viruses. If its clean go ahead and make your paper wallets and print them out. As long as you never connect your offline computer to the internet no hacker, maleware, or keylogger can send out private keys from your cold wallets.

You may think you are safe because you printed out the paper wallets and then cleared cookies/cache and restarted your computer, but there are programs anyone can download that not only log keystrokes, but they take a screenshot everytime there is a key stroke or mouse click. Once reconnected to the internet it uploads the info to the hackers computer. This renders BIP38 useless if your computer has been tampered with by someone who knows you have bitcoins.

FYI, 17 people registered so far... There has to be more, lots more but how to contact them?

You could try going to the black arrow pending orders thread and PMing each username one at a time. Might take a while...

Just pasting this in here, as I imagine BA will delete it from the self moderated thread.

The company is registered in Hong Kong, so the proper agency from what I have been able to find out so far is the Hong Kong Consumer Council.

They request some documents and need to establish that this is a Hong Kong registered company  before they will agree to pick it up, therefore:

Send the annual report http://www.kiwi.nz/blackarrow/PS300015776549_01.pdf

along with the documents they have requested.  Those documents are:

1.  The invoice showing you paid
2   your bank or payment records showing the payment
3.  any e-mail or support discussions  you've had
4.  The annual report referenced above.

Here's the link to file a complaint if you decide you want to do that.

https://www.consumer.org.hk/cc-complaint/index.php?lang=en

Also indicate that their TOS indicates Hong Kong law and paste that in to your message.

http://www.blackarrowsoftware.com/store/terms-and-conditions-en.html#purchase

15.2 Applicable law and dispute resolution
16.2 1 This Agreement shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with the law of Hong Kong S.A.R. of PRC.

This is all the information they will need to pick this up.  They have been very helpful and responsive.  If that goes nowhere, Shenzhen Consumer Group, with which I have also been talking and then the lawyers will be next.

Thank you, i submitted a complaint.
