I know it's not easy to be a project developer because everything takes a long time for them to achieve their goals, maybe dev or team should provide information about their project process to the point where investors or bounty hunters know if the development process is not short. Also, I don't like a project to give false hope to the community so they don't keep asking about it.
ofcourse its very difficult to build good projects. developers team must build best team which is have experience and good skill blockchain skill. mostly now dev team did not have solid team that able deliver good product that accepted by crypto community. transparency will be obligation to keep investors trust , monthly update must deliver to them so they will understand the process. even with the best concepts now it's really difficult for new projects to get full support from investors. Not all projects are bad, but most of the projects die and cannot survive in the market after some time. if you are in 2018 then you will see several projects making success statements in sales with 100% achievement but after a while, they disappear. That makes the reason how investors no longer pay attention to new existing projects because in the market there are assets that are more promising to them with very little risk of losing money. |

I feared new altcoins will be left out so i start selling some coins for bitcoin because it can be a big blow if altcoin fails to surge like in 2017 after bitcoin reach a new ATH, what do you think? And what would you have done in my position
Some of your details are accurate. Bitcoin are started to pump and also a good alt coins, For me the chance of new alt coins to be famous has reduce on my side, But it is still depends on their blockchain tech if hows it will be use or more use cases. when bitcoin is pumping this situation will be very good for altcoin to update. at times like this, the enthusiasm of investors becomes more. but as you say, it depends on how the use of technology and the use of their platform is accepted in the market or not. |

I am going to just give this go probably and mine it for a little bit. I must make sure it is a worthwhile coin but I am curious about it. I think I saw this a few weeks ago but I forgot about the coin. I will keep this window open in my browser and get back to it later tonight. I don't want to pass up an opportunity if there is one here. Besides I like mining and this coin is still new so the difficulty is low. It is also CPU only which seems cool.

It's awesome to know that btc is already trading far above $9,000 and this could be a sign that the year 2020 would be a better year for cryptocurrency. I'm not surprised if my country is not on the list of the crypto friendly countries because some people think cryptos are scam. Only few people knows about cryptos. Japan is really crypto friendly because the government are very supportive of cryptos especially bitcoin.

Well.. have you checked the charts for BNB lately? A few months back, it was trading at $35 per coin. And now the exchange rate is about 50% lower than that level. From what I have seen so far, you can never trust an exchange. No one knows when it will get hacked. Exchanges such as Cryptopia had millions of users and it was trusted by a lot of the users. But we all know what happened to that exchange last year. This doesnt only applied on BNB itself but also on other exchange tokens as well.We know that nothing do goes to our hopes and expectations. We know on how market works and there would be ups and downs.The good thing here is that we do still see Binance is doing well inspite of all the issues that it do experience. IEO vs ICO. We know that IEO is the new thing now yet it do all list directly the coin been on sale on particular exchange which isnt the same case on ICO. yes IEO is indeed new for the crypto market. but for approximately one year this system was put in place and used several projects not many successful with good market development. most are only good at the beginning and so on, their markets fall because they don't have enough traders. IEO has not been as successful as ICO has achieved in previous years. |

It could be a scam, because As I see it, the BCNEX Team makes a big mistake when they don't take the withdrawal process seriously, they just ask to keep pulling on each user, while confirmation on every withdrawal is always pending.
They may be on vacation and of course investor withdrawals may be delayed. I think they will have the latest notification soon because I have been trading at this exchange for the past 2 months. My list of alt coin has very few coins. In fact I have lost my faith in altcoins, they always disappoint me since they dont have the tendency to move on there own. Eth, Litecoin and EOS are few coins in my portfolio apart from 70% BTC.
I'm also like you, choosing to hold a lot of BTC over altcoin. and until now we can see the benefits. even now I have 90% BTC of the value of the assets I have. 10% is ETH which looks a bit slower than bitcoin. |

One problem can't solve from first, if new investor can't trust new fresh coin why they don't invest in old coin. We several good coin already exists in cryptocurrency even with very low price. Even I don't think there could be a trust problem. All solution is now is the correction time!!
For me, old coins can be good for trading. And make investment is good on new project or maybe big coin for long term. That is what some people aim because new project or maybe new tokens that listed in market they will aim for short pump but big. sometimes some new coins are full of surprises like you said. big pump but only happens in a short time. like ONE coin that doubles the price then falls. that's what short-term investors and traders are looking for. |

There's no much difference, but when you conduct IEO in a reputable exchange it means there are legit, especially in Binance as they are really doing their best for them to run IEO with those legit only and no scam, but in ICO, you cannot determine who are scam and not because scammers are also clever enough. i think if ico will also be conducted by famous people , it cant be also turn into scam because these famous personalities are going to get affected if they scam the investors . that is the same as putting an ieo on binance because binance are also afraid to get a complain whenever the ieo turns bad . if that would be the basis , both ieo and ico are equal but if that isnt the condition , we should have choose properly and grade them depending on thier performance binance has good regulations for projects that want to be listed in their IEO. and until now it has managed to maintain the trust of traders and investors who are in the exchange. ICO is not bad, only those who do ICO must be able to convince the best way that can be done. |

It could somehow set for a new ATH in the future. Though we look it shown this year and I believe everybody is hoping but we don't have 100% assurance for that. Feel not to have huge confidence for Ethereum but somewhat I'd never lost my trust even this coin won't give us what most are expecting to happen.
to surpass the highest price that has ever been reached in the market I think it will be difficult because the current price is quite different. but if you make a good ATH this year I think it will not be too high but it will look better than the current price. |
