81  Economy / Speculation / Re: 360$ , what going on ? on: February 26, 2016, 01:49:09 PM
Oh it will reach 500$ soon, it might drop bit, but soon it will rise to 500$ again

I agree with the rise to $500. But it might take a few months to reach that level. It is still consolidating.

I wish the price to rise very slowly, maybe 5% a month. So the volatility will be low. This is good for adoption.

Yep. This is a good idea. Rather than the sky rocket increase. It would be best for it to progress slowly. That way the market can accommodate the change.
82  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin rise up to 800$ this year ? on: February 26, 2016, 01:48:27 PM
It is still possible... 2016 has just began... we are in the first quarter of the year  and on the second or third quarter, we'll see a price movement, so probably  at the end of this year...

Yep, it actually is very possible. With halving around the corner, we can't really predict what will happen anytime soon.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: yobit coins on: February 26, 2016, 01:44:34 PM
I'll buy it now if you take escrow.  I'll happily pay the fee.

Bring the escrow and we will deal thanks.
just for everyones info, yovi coins is a ROM and many users already tried to sell it and there is no buy orders for that coin
I havent hide those information, that its rom coin and has a daily volume on it and that will take sometime till sell all,but they worth today 2,28  btc

what is the actual benefit of buying the coin if no one wants to buy that in yobit exchange?

Yep, im wondering the very same thing. Just why bother.. What do you plan to do it if there's noone else using it.
84  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: February 26, 2016, 01:43:48 PM
you can sell all your bitcoin if you are satisfied and you feel that the price will goes down sooner..
So make sure you have a right decision to sell everything in your wallet. so that you can't be lose in the future..

With that said, just hold on to them. Else you would feel the loss later on.. Bitcoin will have its time so soon now. Dont give up just yet.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HELP? I am trying to decide on... on: February 26, 2016, 01:41:04 PM
If you can't decide this by yourself, you're not ready for this. Just stay with Core then, you won't regret it tho.

Yep, that's just a very good point. If you are still undecided on this, this only means you are still not cut for it. Stick with what you know, you can never go wrong with that.
86  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who controls the Bitcoins? on: February 26, 2016, 01:40:15 PM
If you mean by controling the bitcoin its price, then it is supply and demand which control it.
Bitcoin is a decentralized currency so every one who run a node, every miner and every holder, are sharing the control in somehow
That's the beauty of bitcoins that it is not controlled by anyone, any authority. It is the people's currency on which only people have control. That's the best part of it. It can be anyone, holders or miners of bitcoins. Only the people who uses bitcoins are it's owner.

Yep, this is just as its name its suggest. Cryptocurrency. Mean to say it's just about the same as any other currency there is. Noone actually controls them. The general market depends its values.
87  Economy / Speculation / Re: Am I the only one expecting a drop? on: February 26, 2016, 01:39:16 PM
Dumping happens now, and if you mean a huge price dump, then i don't thing that it could happen, it will rise only pretty  soon

Yep, i think this is the lowest it can ever get. Price speculations are all bearing for its value to grow up.
88  Other / Off-topic / Re: why would i like bitcoin? on: February 26, 2016, 01:38:39 PM

90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ever dreamed about Bitcoin? on: February 26, 2016, 01:36:11 PM
Yes i have. it's yesterday i dreamed about bitcoin. It's about i win a big jackpot and i received 100 bitcoins and the price of bitcoin is $2000, i'm very happy and suddenly i wake up.

Haha. This is really something. I wish your dream would come true. Never dreamt myself again of Bitcoin so far.
91  Other / Meta / Re: idea--- A decentralised trust system on: February 26, 2016, 01:35:28 PM
I don't know what system would be better but I agree with that the current system is not working well and it should be changed.

There are flaws to the current system, true. The question is what changed should be made to improve it. If OPs suggestion is "everyone gets a vote" Im against that change. Its just too easy to get new accounts and leave meaningless ratings which lead to inflated positive ratings. Making the system more complex to use is hardly an improvement.

Yep, plus on its own, every admin can hire any hacker to get into the system and make it work for them. And i guess you're right that if it would just complicate things, i dont think it will be of much help.
92  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Video: Atlas, The Next Generation Robot on: February 26, 2016, 01:33:58 PM
So, when machines with AI compete with humans for jobs what will humans do? When jobs both in manufacturing and services are gone, what then?

I think they won't "compete"  with us but rather work for us. Help us have a better life. After all - they're machines.

So you figure that corporations that use those machines to get rid of you will somehow give a flying eff about you. And how are their machines going to work for you anyway?

Which is why government should be here to be sure that profits made by the companies are at least partially redistributed to the people Smiley

I hate this, but i guess i became that cynical about the government that now i am absolutely sure that they wont even look at this. I just hope then that some major company players like Google for one will take this seriously.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google don't care about Bitcoin ? on: February 26, 2016, 01:32:29 PM
Google is too scared to see everyone started to know about bitcoin, they are not ready for it. Because they don't know what the impact will be, will it be good for Google or will it be bad for Google.

Im pretty sure Google already has this looked over. And im not convinced that Google doesnt care. But im with you with the idea that perhaps they just dont know yet what to make of it. Whether they would go for or against them.
94  Economy / Speculation / Re: VERY NICE MOMENT TO BUY. DONT MISS on: February 24, 2016, 05:04:12 PM
Yes, it's very nice moment , i am buying bitcoins now, because they will be very expencive later, just with posts like this you may create huge buy wave so price will go higher
its better you sell it above 440 if you have just bought it near 420 mark. Good luck you may get some nice profit if you have bough some large sum of coin right now.
I think i'll be keeping mine still. I got it about the same 420. But i will hold on to this until it reaches 500 or so. Gut feel strongly feels like it.
95  Other / Meta / Re: Stopping gift card money laundering on: February 24, 2016, 05:03:22 PM
There is no effective way of stopping only those that sell such cards. This is where the problem lies. Either we ban all gift card sales or we continue with the endless fight (from the staffs perspective).
...
I guess a coordinated effort from DT members should have an effect. However, the name is awful.
Personally I do think banning the sell of giftcards would help a lot but it's very arguable I guess. But at least coordinated effort from DT members against clearly illegal carders will help.

So every one will be under investigation by the new forum gestapo or just active sellers?
Be careful that you do not become the issue of the forum by doling out your brand of justice here.
Its a slippery slope and I know a lot of the ole folk use multiple accounts to push things and make people feel stupid for saying contrary.

Having to prove legitimacy is a interesting issue. If I was questioned out of the blue by pm by some one that is not in the transaction,I would tell them to piss off! Its one thing to ask but another to neg rep a person because they do not play your brand of baseball.
Would it not be fair to list all alt accounts and business you transact in as well if you want clarity?
Only those who actively sell illegal goods would be "under investigation". As I said in OP selling several kinds of giftcards for 50% off or similar clearly seems illegal so sellers need to prove it's not. It's not like I'm proposing considering everyone guilty until proven otherwise. If you run a business that clearly looks illegal then you can't just ignore any PM asking about it. If you don't want to be bothered by that kind of PMs then just don't a run any business that clearly seems illegal.

I don't agree that it will hurt bitcoins as mainly CC's are used for the purchase of these gift cards and not bitcoins. Don't get what's hurting bitcoins in all this.
I think it hurts BTC's reputation because if someone new to bitcoin comes here and sees most goods being sold seem illegal then that will reinforce the stereotype "bitcoin is only for illegal stuff".

I think so too. But if you really think about it. This just cant be helped. People would almost always find away to get things their way. Even if that would mean going through the illegal stuff.
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet on Canada's Cannabis Legalization 2016 on: February 24, 2016, 05:01:15 PM
You really can bet on anything lol.

this is the funniest thing i have ever see people bet on with bitcoin Cheesy

it would be funnier if we got high on marijuana and bet on it then...

Hahaha. But i would that this would have a go and push through. Who will bet against me?
97  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bank account suspended for buying bitcoins? on: February 24, 2016, 05:00:16 PM
Hi, my bank account was suspended for sending a large sum over £500 to a person. i called my bank and said i was sending it to my friend but then i was asked where i got the money from and i said from my brother (because i was buying bitcoins for my brother). Now I have to go into my bank and show them my brothers bank statement saying that he send xxx amount of money to my paypal and from my paypal it went into my bank account. (btw my brother sent it from his paypal to my paypal because he doesn't have online banking and the banks were closed at the time for a cash deposit to my account). Has this happened to anyone else? thanks
change your bank account, create other bank account, your bank is too corious to your account, just because you dont have capability to sent so many amount of money, sad story dude.

Yea really unfortunate. Can they really do that? I don't think they are allowed to do that very easily. Doesn't mean they have doubts on your account they can already do that to you. Did you try filing a complaint?
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should i buy my first whole bitcoin on: February 24, 2016, 02:43:02 PM
I think you should go for it, best time to buy 1 whole btc, price not too high, can afford to buy it, and hold it for future and sell it at halving if you are satisfied with the value.

I think now is the best time to buy more than ever. Price is considerably low and it will shoot up sometime soon.
99  Economy / Speculation / Re: BUY or SELL bitcoins ? What you prefer ? on: February 24, 2016, 02:42:30 PM
Personaly i like to buy and use them, and it's you should wait few days till dump and then buy and save them for future, you could sell for more later

I think it is good idea to buy and hold them. When you need to buy something, then buy it with bitcoin.

It is a good thing thing to buy and hold them for a long term, the bitcoin is getting back up and it will start rising to the moon, I think the bitcoin has a great future a head and the halving is also coming.
We just need to be patient and hold our bitcoin so we all can make profit later.

Yep, and that's what i will do. Keep these Bitcoins for myself and not sell it, not just yet. Actually now is a better time to purchase some cause the price is very low.
100  Economy / Speculation / Re: How high will it go this time? on: February 24, 2016, 02:41:22 PM
if you mean current pum and dump, then it ended allready at 440$ and it's going down now, but  i am pretty sure that after this dump, price will go to 500$ or even under 500$

Yep, i keep on getting the same thing. It can actually reach that 500$ sooner than we ever think.
