What's your plan for holding, selling, trading, spending for the next few years now that we will likely be starting a new bull-bear cycle in the next few months?
I think the next peak will be between $100k and $200k and likely occur in 2020, so my plan is to probably sell most of my Bitcoin hopefully averaging just over $100k. Will probably start selling around $80k just to make sure I get some good profits in case the run doesn't go as high as I think. Probably will just keeping 1 Bitcoin for like the long long term (with a plan to spend it on the LN over many years in the 2020s and 2030s). The next bull run should get to my own "moon" prices in which it makes sense to take substantial profits.
Most of what I sell in the coming bull run will go to set myself up financially in the less volatile stock market for the future (hopefully the coming stock market crash & recession will be timed perfectly so the market is still pretty low as Bitcoin is booming so I can take profits and then move into a stock market that is significantly down - in fact the stock market crash could bolster the bitcoin boom as they will likely line up pretty well the next two years). But I will keep some of those profits around to try to buy back at least one Bitcoin in the following crash to sell again during the following bull cycle.
So for me its basically sell most of my Bitcoin, keep a little for years to come to eventually spend when Bitcoin is in use as a currency, and use some profits to play the long term trade game and buy back some on the following crash in a few years.
very nice plan, just pray it works out in that way. I have a plan of holding about 10% of my total holding both bitcoin and altcoins for a very long time and I think I could be able to hold them till 2027. We really need a long term view in other to be among the rich in future. Your financial future beginning from the amount of money you put in cryptocurrencies market now and forget about it for the next 10 year. If they had those plans for the future, that's not a very challenging since we're at the end days of 2018. More people always desired to hold their asset for no matter how hard for them to manage their worries against crypto. However, the positive ideas from this forum gave them additional confidence to face the current problems. |

The quiet before the storm is here. I’m not sure how much longer this sideways price action can go. A big move is coming. I still think we have a good dump coming taking us to $3000 before the next bull run. What’s your prediction?

It won't happen even if they might happen the whales won't let that happen because the cryptos will starts to extinct if the mining has no more profitable that is why the whales won't let the prices fall below $6000 if that happens then most of the miners will stop working. In my opinion no big move for a while in the near future too because people already getting familiar with it and the weak hands are moved away from this market. For that mate, maybe I would not expect any worst scenario to happen yet. If weak handed people will continue to have that kind of mentality we will not go into progress. We will remain to this situation that we're facing right now, and not certain growth will ponder, while many projects awaited for a good profit to withstand. |

I don't believe that they can do this. Sometimes, I have the thought that they just want us to believe that they have all the information but in reality the system of regulation isn't perfect
Eventhough crypto currency can't be controlled by government because of being decentralized but still they have the hold in terms of security, as we know that crypto currency is not yet fully optimized then therefore every holders must convert first into local money through bank and other fiat exchanger of which they require proof of identification, so I think that's the only way government can do their part and that is for security only and beyond that no more. That's one way of government regulations, because it's very important due to money laundering cases which will arise when there's no control between Banks and crypto trading sites. You're mentioning here KYC mate, and it has been implemented lately on most of the exchanges and projects due to government requirements in order to prevent any fraudulent crimes. |

the factor that makes the price of bitcoin rise again seems like there is good news that can trigger an increase in the price of bitcoin again and make the price of bitcoin can be very expensive again.
Good news are critical to make the price of bitcoin to go up, I know that there are many people that decide to ignore the news because they do not believe in the sources but sometimes there are many positive news in a row and this makes the price of bitcoin to go up, that is precisely what happened the last time we got a bull market and this is also the reason of why we got the bear market in the first place. These days we can't hear more good news, since more fake news came around instead of giving positive feedbacks. People is very much aggressive to earn fast, but it won't happen because we really need to acquire that learnings first. Start it with yourself, and patience is which I think the best thing to learn before expecting those factors thar may arise in order to make bitcoin rise again. |

Panicking during serious market crash is inevitable for newcomers and less experienced crypto investors as their investment is cut to almost of its price. Yes, stay calm and don't panic because the market will grow again soon.
Having a calm mind and thinking of ways to have lesser losses should be what the people are doing. Some do sell even if they are already in the market for a long time as a part of their strategy to minimize their losses. As the price continues to go down, they would have avoided acquiring bigger losses and they have the option to buy back later. If you are an investor then you should consider buying more when the price is cheap so that your average price would be cheaper. We must be calm on dealing this crash scenario as what the market take the crash calmly. We should not be affected in this matter, as it can affect the deliberations we supposed to do and lost just in a blink of an eye of listening some an inaccurate FUD spreading in this field. So, we must be strong and firmly face this kind of scenario and believe it can surpass althroughout. I know that we will surpass the current situation that we're facing right now, and listening to those fud around us must be ignored. We need to be more focused on our visions in order to withstand the best possible good results as well. |

I cant to say that a growing trend will begin, because only few facts. I’m rather confident that at the beginning of the year we will see a fall, due to the large outflows of funds of funds, which are made at the end of the year.
By means of positive motivations I can say bull run will hit this december days. Possibly there's a fall but eventually it will be gaining back again, because demand will also arise and the whales will come back to regain another bull run influence. |

I don't know how you see this good news but I have been analyzing it since yesterday and I think we should pay attention to it. Institutional investors are going to come into cryptocurrencies market with full force in some days and weeks to come.
Instutional investors are definitely coming to the market, and they may trigger another bull run. As much as I like the opportunity to make money, there is a contradiction in all this "love" from bitcoin community for those institutional investors. Wasn´t the reason for buying bitcoin gettting rid of institutional investors?  Haha.. a slap right. When those enthuasiasts wannabees and trade the market that they don't have any idea how to do, will really cry for help. You just buy more and don't pump this by rumors. Believeeeee.  If that rumors will come out to the public particular to what the enthusiasts said on public social media posts, which I thought it would be some fundamental part to help bull run initiate. As part of the whales strategy they'll be getting back again what they've planted, so after that massive downfall they should be recovering back again to a much higher profit gains. Those positive reviews will happen soon, and as price went higher and improve better we as holders should grab at a sustainable profit as well when that bull run came. |

It's simple, don't purchase cryptocurrency as an investment, purchase it for its utility. If you don't see any cryptocurrencies that appeal to you for their primary function, then don't buy any! Cryptocurrencies are not supposed to be investment options, they are supposed to be currency.
A currency commonly useful for other optional matters like for a certain product which you will be using it, like for gambling or like coins used for your trading fees. All applicable ideas associated with coins, always matters with a certain cryptocurrency. Because they dont know how bounty hunter job is hard. We are spending our valuable time to doing advertisement for icos and with that way these icos can create their community with our helps.. So in my opinion really bounty hunters doing more job than only investing 1 2 eth.
Bounty hunters always expects a good token but most of the scenario experienced was still frustrations. These tokens that we get here in bounty campaigns isn't a free one, because we worked hard for every project that we been participating of. Of course maybe it will be, but only this happen not soon. The times of HYIP ETH and smart contracts in particular are over. The correlation of ETH and BTC is back. When the dependence disappears again nobody don't know or maybe this not happen.
As long as there's a demand coming from new buyers and holder who still patronizes ethereum, now wonder we will achieve that highest record again. When the btc domino effect will count on, I am confident that would also be happening to eth and it will increase back again to what highest price it has reached previously. |

It can happen because you are already giving them your information and it's easy for them to use your identity for some shady activity whenever they want. BTC has impact on whole market and ethereum it is not an exception. Eth is extremely dependent from big brother. BTC was crashed because of 53k of BTC went out from bitfinex last evening.
We can't prevent that to happen, since many traders wanted their profit to show up but I am certain this price of btc and eth right now will be rising back to much higher value in the next few days this second week. It's not the first time it happened and I was getting used to it even though not easy to look at, but we need to accept the fact of volatility being present at this current bearish market. |

Turned out, in July we were not even close to a bull run. Now I am quite curious, if we will have an Alt Season in the end of the year, or we have to wait until 2019, to see some rally again.
No matter what happens this year, I still wait for the bull run and with that question keeps lingering in my ears since few months ago; to tell you mate I am always prepare and ready. If we're going to wait until 2019 so be it, I am always ready for that because by virtue of no choice this is a hardest sacrifice of crypto in my whole life. |

I was just thinking and imagining the bull run that happen toward the end of last year when the crypto market became a cake of enjoyment for everyone. The story is on the contrary now. I am wondering and disturbed that can it ever happen again? My wallet coins are reducing in value daily. I am not completely sure if it can happen again.... somehow I still have little believe it may. Do you think it will happen again?
I think it will be happening again, bull market is just a correction after bear market like currently. But we cannot know when the next bull will be occurring, as long peoples are using cryptocurrency, the bear and bull market will always exist. Indeed, the two of them will always be present in recent time of crypto currency. It was to compared with the government system of a certain country, the administration and the opposition. Bull market is somewhat an administration who pursue the best part of the developing of bitcoin’s price to become much profitable, and with bear market was the opposition which always opposes the price which pulled down the value in order to make the price cheaper. I think this would be the greatest corrections since I started cypto, but still I am hopeful that we will see another positive outbreak to happen again for crypto. |

I don't think hype started, because if we say there's a hype we could observe any quick price increase which eventually occurs during trading. Many live trades will happen and those hype situations of each increasing value will be seen on some selected price of each coins. For now hype could possibly be seen, but suddenly fall back due to bull trap.

I don't believe all of them were turning out a garbage, it just so happened other weren't able to hit the successful crowdfunding they aimed to. Most of the reason for that scenario was because of lack of support from other groups who promote's the platform of the project ICO, ran by campaign managers. They're not having strong foundations of their project and no digital product has been introduced to the market, which was useful for everyone who loves cryptocurrency.
