81  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is this unimpeachable? Community ADVICE needed on: June 01, 2017, 03:39:14 PM
Chances are he either used an alt to seem like he has a higher offer, or he pulled a "fuck with both potential buyers", by telling all potential buyers that he had a higher offer from a ghost, people using this tactic will usually fall back and offer to sell back to you "for a lower price than the ghost offered but higher than your accepted offer".

Sadly, every thing on this forum is based on trust, if only a smart contract was made for this auction, then it would have been binding if coded properly, but alas, it is just another ghost on the interwebs

Would you be willing to accept small amount of bitcoin for your paypal? Like 0.01 BTC worth?
Yes, I can. Given that you agree to pay my fee.

What is your rate? Talk through PM or here?

Send me a PM pls with exact amount of BTC you're looking to sell.
Please ensure that you will add fee at least as 300 sat/byte.

Will do, of course I will send with high fees, its my normal habit.

86  Economy / Services / Re: Need a Google Maps API Developer on: June 01, 2017, 02:37:49 PM
Wouldn't you need two pins? One on the intersection and the other the location you want to go?

You can use google direction api and set up two waypoints on the each path of the intersection , simply call the api twice with the waypoints included on each call like the following

Api call 1: Send with waypoint 1 as parameter so route includes it (forces it to go that way)
Api call 2: Send with waypoint 2 as parameter so route includes it (forces it to go the other way)
Is that what would need done? 2 waypoints? I'm not a developer (programming), I can design a website but when it comes to JavaScript I know very little.

I guess what I wanted to do was to have it take the leg-work out of trying to find the next nearest-intersection if at all possible, since this would be used in an emergency-services based side. And not everyone is computer-savy.

I know that from the google maps (ui not the api), it is possible to get an intersection of two streets by joining them with an & like in "12th Street & Adeline Street" which will show you that intersection.

If that query works using the maps api (probably the geocode or places api), you can get the lat and long and place them in a get directions api call along with the waypoints i mention to the tune of something like
"direction from (12th Street & Adeline Street) to Bayside Patient Dispensary via waypoint 1 (adeline street which should return a route going straight up) " and the other route being
"direction from (12th Street & Adeline Street) to Bayside Patient Dispensary via waypoint 2 (12 streetstreet which should return a route going the long way but passing through magnolia street) "

where information about bounty ?
Look elsewhere , no bounties here, real developments have no need to give out stuff for free to desperate people

Why I can't participate in this ICO? It is pointed that ICO lasts till 19th June. WTF?

ICO ended, terms of sale ending was 30 million raised or 19th June, whichever comes first. You can always buy sjcx from an exchange and wait for the upcoming storj coin swap. Than again, you don't actually read so it doesn't matter anyways
89  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Who's paying for transaction fees in Loan? on: June 01, 2017, 02:07:46 PM
I've had some coins sitting in my wallet, and think if I can grow by making some interest by lending them,
however due to the recent rise of transaction fees, sending $5 is like sending $6 sometimes more,
who's going to be responsible for the fees?

What's the standard practice on this?

Thanks for answering
cyyap95

Usually the side performing the loan will state loan amount, of course all amounts stated excludes fees by default. Loaners will usually set an appropriate fee, on the other hand, borrowers may send or return the loan with abysmal fees.

A decentralised cloud storage is an amazing project that will revolutionize the whole industry.I hope to see storj among top 10 cryptos soon.

yes. I can see this grow-up of this ICO . It will prove how far this project can go .
I'm waiting for the ending date of ICO and will consider to valuate this project but I believe this project will be successful.

The former CEO seemed very good (Shawn), I am not sure about the new management

Shawn wanted to concentrate solely in the code without other distractions

Also, feel free to ask questions @ community.storj.io

92  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Poloniex isn't being professional at all with me on: June 01, 2017, 06:21:18 AM
so here is my story with Poloniex
on May 1st I logged in to my polo account and found that they locked it , a ticket was created from them saying that they are suspecting that I live in Iran and asked me to submit my photos if I'm not
I wasn't able to upload the photos through the site , so I sent them via the ticket and told them that I live in Syria
the support contacted me after that and told me that they don't accept sensitive info via the ticket , and I should upload them through the site ( now they know that I'm from Syria )
so I logged in again and was able to submit the info , they contacted me after a week saying that they are not accepting Syrians anymore ( I told them that I'm Syrian 7 days before but they made me submit my ID and wait for nothing )
then I asked for the the one time withdrawal 15 days ago and they haven't process it yet , also they are not answering me anymore

I will leave you with the screenshots and please tell me what should I do , cause this is ridiculous

When you first created your polo account, what country did you put as? If you didnt put Syria from the start, you are the one putting yourself on the line. Poloniex has been facing huge amounts of support cases these few months, both fake and real and in between all the ddoses , they are spread pretty thin to reply quickly.

Did you reply to the screenshot you labelled as number 5?
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Questions on: June 01, 2017, 04:36:23 AM
I like to add that I'm from the US and do have us bank accounts.  I'm not in the US now but i could use my us bank accounts etc.

I just checked coinbase and i think you could get it there?

Basically i want to know how easy is it to buy it and sell it.  But most importantly, how do you store it.  Such as do you need to download a wallet on your computer like btc or leave it on blockchain where you dont even need a wallet etc.

Please.. no such thing as leaving on blockchain, I know you mean leaving it on blockchain.info, the two are totally different things.

Technically, there is no need for any wallet at all if you have the private keys. Blockchain.info is what we call a web wallet, using coinbase is both a web wallet as well as an exchange.

Most new users are having problems with Coinbase registration and lots of complains about them scamming, somehow all those never happens to me, have used coinbase for years with no problems.
94  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ATM fees? on: June 01, 2017, 04:33:23 AM
Here in Canada, the price of the bitcoin is approx $3,100 Canadian dollars. However, the ATM gives you a rate of approx $4,100. I deposited $100 and got back $77 worth of BTC. Is this the normal rate?

Different services, exchanges or atms have different rate and or premiums for buying into bitcoin.

For your case, assuming 1 BTC is $3100 , but the ATM has a higher premium of 1 BTC for $4100, roughly what you should get will be 3100/4100*100 or 75.6097561 CAD roughly.

I am pretty sure there are other exchanges which will give you more btc for $100 cad

You can ask inside the alternate cryptocurrency sub board, pretty sure there is a dedicated Ethereum forum too
96  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Please help. on: May 31, 2017, 02:06:29 PM
Hi. Recently I withdraw BTC from bitflyer exchange.
But it is stuck at pending and no transaction ID. It happened 3 days already.
Even I paid highest fee for withdrawal.
I sent several e-mails about this issue but they never replied to me.
I tried contact them but they only accept inquiries via e-mails. No phone number.
 Embarrassed Embarrassed

Anyone can help me? What can I do?

Thanks.

Seems like a famous japanese exchange, I doubt they would pull a gox on your deposits. You might have to wait a few days or even weeks as is common among businesses in cryptos , they should be facing higher than normal support mails too.
97  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying BTC on Weekly/Daily Basis 1k$-15k$ on: May 31, 2017, 09:24:51 AM
hey buddy easy. i am not here to scam anyone i dont have time for it and we can use escrow for first trades dont come and f-ck topic thanks

Thanks for proving my point, claims to have an exchange company, can't even provide a link to said imaginary company for verification purposes, calls it fucking around when the only one fucking around is you.
Yea, use escrow for first trades, so you can scam bigger amounts from trades after the first one with the first false sense of trust transaction.

I would gladly be interested if you can provide me said link to your "company".

99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: StakeCoin Launch Announcement on: May 31, 2017, 09:13:34 AM
StakeCoin is a crypto-currency that does not require any mining. Moreover, it also offers 4% Annual Returns upon staking for a year.
Every machine that mines Stake Coin and processes transactions make up a part of the network and the machines work together.

Read the two sentences together, proof of stake coin suddenly talking about mining?

StakeCoin wards off every hidden cost eater to maintain absolute transparency.
Or as I put it basically bullshit to confuse readers.

These coins enter the market in periodic form. Following a 49 months cycle. Around 1 million StakeCoins are Supplied every month in the market. There’s no guessing at which rate the production will increase in coming years. But you can leverage the benefits of 10% appreciation upon stacking your StakeCoins every month.

Basically unlimited supply aka useless

So book your stakes in StakeCoin today and step into the world of tremendous opportunities and benefits.

I am pretty sure that sentence only applies to you after scamming potential newbies.

It’s easy to set up
Conventional banks make you jump through hoops simply to open a bank account. However, you can set up a Stake Coin address in seconds.

It’s anonymous
Users can hold multiple Stake Coin addresses, and they aren’t linked to names, addresses, or other personally identifying information.

It’s completely transparent
Stake Coin stores details of every single transaction that ever happened in the network in a huge version of a general ledger.

Transaction fees are minuscule
Your bank may charge you a $10 fee for international transfers. Stake Coin doesn’t.

It’s fast
You can send money in any corner of the World in a jiffy, as soon as the Stake Coin network processes the payment.

LOL, basically you copied the source from another coin and renamed it, or used some coin cloning service.

You just got busted. Time for you to create another new coin weeks from now to try and scam newbies yet again.

Final Verdict : This one beats the rest for not even trying. Shit coin, no unique features, avoid.

Gonna be honest here. I just paid my car and cell phone Verizon expensive. Anyway. Need some btc gamble and purchase mining supply. I don't get paid till friday. If you can tip, donate, or lend ( if lend will pay Friday guereentee. I'm not those other people that are out there. Adresss is , thanks

1M6Wa1754NqZBLjsjTZ3qCLQcDZSRNqSef

1. Collateral ( Future income is not valid collateral, nor is your account )
2. Reason : Gambling will only lower your chances of getting it.
3. One does not simply ask to lend an interest fee loan, it may be small but no one knows you at all

No collateral, no talk.

Sit outside your local starbucks holding some cardboard about you needing money for food, I assume you will get what you want in a few hours. Or offer to wash the dishes for your neighbourhood restaurant for a few hours.

Only potential scammers use lines like I'm not those other people that are out there. Cheers!

We have seen to many of "I am not like other people out there" , lol

Wait, I have an even better solution, be an uber for 2 hours.

You have money to pay your car and phone bills but need 0.005btc to gamble?
