81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could this be the start of a great pump? on: August 16, 2019, 08:30:55 AM
many people are wrong that the present bitcoin surge is bullrun,to me the present bitcoin price is normal for bitcoin since this year took a different turn for crypto world, many more investors came in and invest of bitcoin and many bigger companies too,btc price is stable for now and i believe that the next bullrun will be bigger than what weve seen in the past this is why i still hold on to my altcoin portfolios
This is what we call a recovery, from $3200-$13k so it's not really the bull run that we are anticipating. But the good thing is that we have bounce already and looking forward for another great end this year, not expecting another all time high, but at least around $15k.

For if we are going of a great pump similar to 2017, we need to wait till next year. 2019 could be just the start that's why we haven't seen such huge pump and the recovery took us five months. The massive pump could be after the block halving in 2020.

Why do you think there is going to be a massive pump? It can happen. But it can finish like Litecoin. Halving block or whatever should not be an excuse to make the price higher. It would just be a pump and dump scheme.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dead cat bounce or the start of bull market? on: August 15, 2019, 10:30:51 PM
If you've read the history of Bitcoin, maybe you won't think negatively about Bitcoin. This Bitcoin rose from the price of $ 0.1 / BTC. And this price is far lower than the ICO prices of other coins. The price is currently $10,392.64, and has been the cusp of $ 15,000 in December 2017.

This means that price changes continue to occur. If you stop for fear of falling. I think, this will not bring good results for you. Continue to struggle.
Good luck to you. It is near it top current price and can't do a lot better. Don't tell me that it is a cheap coin, it is so expensive that it is better not to buy it at its current price. People who bought it more than 12000 usd are going to suffer. Price can't continue a lot more as bitcoin has been pumped with current altcoins holders and some people are taking out their profits. It will not reach $15000. Max $11000.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price struggling on: August 15, 2019, 09:06:17 PM
I think, It's not a bad sign of ETH. When bitcoin grow will stop some time, then ETH price will grow fast.
Yes bitcoin and ETH both grow with time and i am sure ETH will be also high now i can see time passing ETH is gaining value in very near future we will see huge price increase in it so every Altcoin use to struggle and wait for the perfect price to reach till the end 2019 I think ETH Will gain remarkable recovery so hopping for best.
Look at its satochi price. It is always losing since Mai 2018. People are now only interested about getting some bitcoin satochi. Most of new traders are not interested about ETH. Can this change? For the moment no. It would need a very big dump of bitcoin for people to change to altcoins. Altcoins are surely going to suffer too, but the dominance might become more normal. I don't think bitcoin can increase more than $11000 now. It is more or less when it had 70 percent of dominance. And people are exiting some profits from the cryptos market when they can. It can only go down little by little. It will take time maybe, but that will happen. Be patient, one day thoses  pumpers are going to be exhausted as the market is decreasing little by little.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers ruin ICO fund raising on: August 15, 2019, 03:55:16 PM
If i understand correctly, there is a risk that the team creating the IEO on an exchange can be scammed? The exchange don't give back the money to the team? I have not heard any news about this kind of scam. But it is possible that it has happened. Do you have an example of this kind of scam?
But at the end, an ICO has to pay to be listed on an exchange like an IEO. And sometimes the exchange can scam the team by accepting the fund and not listing the coin.
But maybe doing an IEO on an exchange is more expensive than a normal listing. I don't really know.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin today on: August 15, 2019, 02:47:38 PM
altcoin is still very likely to develop, with the current market dynamics, Bitcoin has raised prices but altcoin has not increased, this is very shaking up the existence of altcoin, as if altcoin will die, but behind it, now we also see BNB, Houbi and many other tokens has increased, without closing the possibility that the 2019 market will give birth to a strong and highly developed altcoin in the future.
It is because there is no more real investors for blockchain companies. Only coins created by an exchange are still being kept by thoses speculators for their advantages like less fees to pay and the possibility to participate in an IEO. Bitcoin is the only coin that speculators are keeping. But that is very bad as no new money are going to come into this market as if a company take the risk to enter the market, his coin is going to be dumped after the first pump of his coin. It is not worth for them to invest into cryptocurrencies with the current speculators which only have faith on bitcoin and their coins linked to an exchange. It is only worth if they do an exit scam after selling their stock of coins for usdt or bitcoin.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance maintenance, the market lost 25 billion dollars on: August 15, 2019, 02:24:29 PM
The market has lost 25 billion dollars because the maximum price of bitcoin had been reached and this price was unstainable. That's all. It is not because of binance. Don't dream that bitcoin is going to take 100 percent of the crypto market. If it does, bitcoin is going to be worth 0.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 99% of all projects is worthless and not worth a cent. What do you think? on: August 15, 2019, 01:49:14 PM
A lot of projects are now worthless in term of value for their coins, because people now only care about bitcoin. Look at the dominance of bitcoin. Is it normal for you to have 70 percent market dominance for one coin which does not do anything new compare to some new altcoins? Most people are only here for greed and not about the development of the technology. Some projects are doing excellent work, but their tokens are worthless. Look for exemple at the Ambrosus team. They have an excellent team. But nobody care about their token now. I would say, it is not worth for new companies to enter the crypto market. Except if they make a scam exit as their tokens are going to be dumped hard after the first pump of the coin. Because people now are only buying bitcoin and not because the team want to develop an excellent product or not. Only coins which are created by an exchange are doing good. Because they give some advantages to thoses traders as lower fees or permit to participate in new IEO which get dumped hard after too. If this continue, cryptocurrencies are going to die as there is too few real investors to develop the new technology. Continue like this and buy only bitcoin and we are going to see the fall of all cryptocurrencies and not just altcoins.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin market dominance, Good for altcoins or Not on: August 15, 2019, 12:56:02 PM

Goldman Sachs Predicts US-China Trade War to Continue into 2020 which might Benefit Bitcoin
The yuan has been depreciating in value versus the dollar a lot of late.
Bitcoin may benefit greatly from the continuation of the trade war and a recession following it
Chinese investors can probably be pumping the bitcoin market
Sorry, but no. They are currently pumping the real Gold and not the fake one. Look at the current price of Gold and you will understand. It is altcoins holders who did pump bitcoin at its current price mainly. If the dominance is not corrected, i predict a big dump of the crypto market as currently price of bitcoin is unstainable.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what is happening now? on: August 15, 2019, 06:00:49 AM
If you look for exemple at gate.io, people are still selling their coins for bitcoins when bitcoin is falling. They still hope that Bitcoin can increase to $20000 and don't want to miss this. But that won't happen. I hope bitcoin is going to return back to $3000 or less and that people are going to realize what they have done. Following fake news and whales is not going to finish well.
But we can understand them too as a lot of altcoins were made to scam people. But now they have no confidence on altcoins. That's why they only buy bitcoin. But that will kill the cryptomarket. As no companies are going to try to invest into cryptocurrencies as people are only going to dump their coins. I don't care if i lose what i have invested on cryptos. But it is sure that i won't put more money into it.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin or Bitcoin on: August 15, 2019, 04:18:24 AM
Pro bitcoins should know that if they continue to invest only on bitcoin, the crypto market is going to die. Can't you see that in 2017, altcoins dominance was in equality with bitcoin? Having only investment on bitcoin means signign the death of bitcoin and altcoins. Don't dream, bitcoin won't resist too as it is the altcoins who can attract new investors. Because people were interested about the blockchain development. But if there is no money into new development, blockchain is going to disappear as there is no future for current and new cryptos companies. Good luck if you don't change your way of thinking. But banks and some people who hate cryptos are going to rejoice.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price struggling on: August 14, 2019, 10:37:29 PM
Binance and its pumped IEOs is the main cause of decline of ETH this year.
It is one of the cause of ETH decline. But the main one is Bitcoin as people were selling their altcoins for Bitcoin in the hope that Bitcoin could reach 20000 usd.
And some still believe it. But no, i don't think it is possible as Bitcoin has near 70 percent of dominance of the crypto market. It means that Bitcoin has been pumped like a pump and dump scheme. In January 2018, Bitcoin had a dominance of 35 percents. It is the fault of some whales who wanted people to pump the price of Bitcoin and some of them have hoped to sell more at $14000.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price struggling on: August 14, 2019, 09:34:08 PM
Eth fall is too deep today. Don't really know the reason for such fall. How it wakes up and move up. Otherwise it will touch the low again.
It is because some people still believe that Bitcoin can reach $15000 or more. But for me, they are dreaming. At 70 percent dominance of the cryptos market it can't do better than $12000. When they are going to be exhausted, some money with a little chance can return back to altcoins. Else, there is no hope and it would mean the death of cryptocurrencies as no new companies and money are going to try to enter the crypto market if people only trust bitcoin as new coins are going to be sold immediately for bitcoin.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market will recover? on: August 14, 2019, 09:08:27 PM
If people only concentrate on Bitcoin, the crypto market is not going to survive. Because new companies are all going to be bankrupts as people are just going to sell their coins for Bitcoin. But i don't think Bitcoin can increase more. As 70 percent of dominance is really crazy for the numbers of coins that exists on the crypto market. Just one coin is having the near monopole of the crypto market. Why creating new coins if people are not interested about technologies? Why just not trade bitcoin vs usdt? It would be less risky for them to not enter the crypto market. But it would mean the death of cryptocurrencies and bitcoin too if people see it like this. Let the market decide the fate of cryptocurrencies. And i don't see bitcoin as the equivalent as gold. As gold is accepted by banks and governments and it is used to make jewelleries, used for computer parts and other things. And real gold is more difficult to extract. Yes, bitcoin can be send on the internet. But other altcoins too and they are less expensive to send.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BitUSD today... Stablecoin hype? on: August 14, 2019, 04:19:05 PM
It is a proof that BitUSD is not pegged to USD... They don't seem to have a mechanism to force the price to be pegged to actual USD price on the market. Other "stable" assets on BitShares have the same problems. It seems that thoses stables coins are stable only if the traders want it to be like a stable coin. And i have not see a way of exchanging bitUSD to the equivalent fiat currency...
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price struggling on: August 14, 2019, 01:45:28 PM
Look at the dominance of Bitcoin vs altcoins at coinmarketcap and you will understand that altcoins holders have pumped bitcoin since February 2018. Bitcoin dominance was a little less than 35 percent in January 2018. That's why it is difficult for altcoins to grow. But yesterday, a very little correction has appeared. I think the dominance is going to reverse. But it certainly will take time as there is still some strong believers that Bitcoin is the only one cryptocurrency worth something. But i don't really like Bitcoin as it doesn't help the development of the blockchain technology in term of transaction speed/cost, facility of use, anonymity, Dapps. The dominance of Bitcoin means that cryptocurrencies are mostly used by speculators.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Betting : A big problem to crypto? on: August 14, 2019, 01:27:11 PM
I don't see this as a problem too. But it gives the idea that cryptocurrencies is mostly used for gambling and speculation. But that's the reality of the current cryptocurrencies. Developers need more time to create more useful and creative applications. The problem is how to attract people to use your application without them to be afraid that their coins lose value and who are the current users of cryptocurrencies.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best sustainability-focused or "green" altcoins? on: August 14, 2019, 11:14:49 AM
DPOS coins and masternodes i think are more energy-friendly. But servers are still needed for the blockchain to still be operative. But they don't use a lot of energy compare to POW coins. There are a lot of altcoins like TRON, NEO, VeChain.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Bitcoin gold constant price decrease means it's completely dying? on: August 13, 2019, 10:35:33 PM
I don't think Bitcoin Gold has a good future. It is a fork like Bitcoin Private. There is a little more support for Bitcoin Gold than Bitcoin Private, but there is a risk that it finished like Bitcoin Private. I won't try to buy it. The constant decrease is because of the pump of Bitcoin by altcoins holders. And it has happened for all altcoins, Ethereum too. But i think a correction of the dominance of Bitcoin is currently in action. The pump of Bitcoin looks like a pump and dump scheme for me.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: if btc drops... on: August 13, 2019, 04:59:09 PM
if btc drops to 7-8k range what happens to alts?
You can be sure that altcoins will dump more.
Currently the worst time for altcoins because price in BTC is lowest in the last 3 years and there is no sign of recovery.  Cry
Look at what is happening now for altcoins vs Bitcoin. I was right that altcoins holders have pumped bitcoin to its maximum price. 70 percent dominance was its maximum. Now a big correction is happening. I don't know if the price of altcoins vs usdt is going to stay the same or increase. But altcoins are surely going to increase in value against BTC.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do You Think A Bull Run Is Really Coming on: August 13, 2019, 01:39:24 PM
I believe, the beginning of the readjustment of the dominance is beginning now. I say buy low and sell high. Only current bitcoin holders are going to tell you to buy high and sell low.
