81  Economy / Economics / Re: Governments and banks are using you on: August 14, 2017, 04:38:41 AM
I agree.

First to market is rarely best to market, however we have SO much collective knowledge that I don't think deeper pockets will be able to swallow it all or control too much of it. I do think corps/banks/gov will indeed make use of the blockchain/similar tech however when it comes to the whole eco-system that is crypto I don't think people will let it fall into controlling hands for a long time if ever (I can't think of how on the spot, but action/reaction, if we get cornered I'm sure we will see an interesting battle and response from the people).

Whats so special about Omise and will it hit $20 by this week?

$20 this week? Triple the MC from here in 7 days? I mean we've seen crazier but that's very ambitious. I do see $10 no problem though.

Here's the reddit ppl are active on you can get better intel there:

how much are you paid for all the rubbish you post? ))

10 dollhairs.

How much are you paid to bother ppl and bash coins? And while we're at it - why do you add '))' after your posts? If we don't see $10 you can attack me all you want lol but I'm just posting an opinion and sharing links since there's no official announcement etc. What's your issue I even brought the guy down to earth re his expectations?

84  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: August 13, 2017, 02:47:08 AM
It's funny seeing this thread always pop back up every time we reach new ATH's.

In a few years, it's going to be even funnier going back to look at the older posts when BTC is at 20K or 100K or whatever crazy number it will be at. It'll essentially never be 'too late'. Might be too late to do multiples overnight/week but even that's not really true, because it's backwards in bitcoin land Smiley.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OmiseGo on: August 13, 2017, 01:12:36 AM
^ Totally went over your head dude. Let's just agree to disagree and you can continue with your selective comprehension.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OmiseGo on: August 13, 2017, 12:53:17 AM
"Let's pay Vitalik to use his name, then he can dump onto the market and kill our coin and we can make quick money" ... is what you're saying is happening lol. I really don't think him being involved is the make/break variable bruh (plus, he's VERY well off, I don't think he takes bribes or handouts to abuse his name at will. I met him in person and he's quite the humble timid guy).

We're on the same page. I don't think there's anything revolutionary about ANY of the new coins, just the way the teams are utilizing the tech, blockchain, assigning it to real world usage, etc. which I think they are indeed doing faster/better than other alts.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OmiseGo on: August 13, 2017, 12:34:02 AM
Well they don't exist yet so how can one answer? I'm comparing it to other coins 'wishes' and roadmaps and tech that doesn't exist either and or is MUCH farther behind and lacks a real biz or team.. Yes this is tied to an existing business that's proven, established, and profitable and adding new branches to it via crypto. You are positioning this as some long term PnD or sneaky price hype campaign in a subtle way, which is wrong. Nobody can reassure you of your concerns or fears of this coins potential downside or news you're dismissing.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OmiseGo on: August 12, 2017, 11:52:50 PM
^ It's good to be skeptical - however the same things you raise caution for can be said about a LOT of the new coins that pumped. Hardly any have actual product and the ones that do also take big dips along their journey. At the end of the day all the variables are in place for this to go moon more and more as 2018 approaches, and at the same time yes it can plummet just as easily as any other coin however many other coins are seemingly worthless compared to OMG yet they are skyrocketing.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OmiseGo on: August 12, 2017, 11:00:05 PM
I have jumped in at 5 and sold at 6.5. Why?

I think you're probably not going to see this dip today for too long. It spiked so much recently it needs time to breathe and refuel. Pull up the chart for NEO for the last 2-4 weeks and look at the rollercoaster ppl had to endure and not sell in order to reach todays numbers (and it's mostly based on a hype campaign vs actual product/usage in place and working with more to come plus a huge dev team).

It can't just keep going up. But that aside - you have to look at the whole eco-system too.
 - A LOT of coins got pumped like fuck recently.
 - BTC keeps hitting new ATH's.
 - The crazy spike was BOUND to correct, and now that it has, it's actually not nearly as bad as I expected. Might even dip down to the 5's still but I doubt it.
 - People are chasing the new sub $1 spikes before coming back to $5+ coins that are rapidly rising until they get FOMO from smart investors/traders grabbing this dip.
 - This thread isn't an actual announcement thread, in fact there isn't one, they've managed to get this far kind of under the radar compared to what others do/need to do.
 - The airdrop that's about to happen to all ETH wallets is going to create mass awareness/appeal which will probably introduce tons of new money.
 - I can keep adding to this but I'll stop here.

There is a good race going on for top 10 status among 5 or so coins that are climbing the ranks fast (I mean ones that will stay there not climb then dip forever)..

Now that this round of pumps is relaxing, and pretty much ALL the coins that were pumped are correcting, it's just a matter of time before it reverses and keeps hitting new ATH's. Only thing standing in the way right now is TIME.

TLDR; HODL.

PAY and OMG are the two coins that are positioned to do what NEO just did in the last month. Crazy how much everything has fast-tracked in the crypto world recently.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Balance of Power on: August 12, 2017, 09:09:45 AM
I think the next fork/transition is going to be just as messy and just as smooth once the storm is over and we reflect/assess. Hopefully it will dump another coin with a huge MC onto the market that we can all abuse again lol.

This fork is a little bit more problematic, because it is a battle between miners and core developers, both of whom have substantial clout. This could damage the entire bitcoin ecosystem, if both coins have similar market capitalization and people start wondering which one is the original 'bitcoin'. So don't wish for it. Smiley

Definitely not wishing for it, but I AM wishing it goes just as smooth and doesn't create too much chaos (but we both know it will).
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OmiseGo on: August 12, 2017, 09:06:39 AM
^ "was" a good rally?

Still is Smiley - I don't think we've seen anything yet.

Double digits in no time, probably going to follow the NEO pattern (but maybe faster) and far surpass it.

When did it get listed on Bitfinex? It just went boooooom.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: To Buy BCH or not to Buy BCH? on: August 07, 2017, 11:32:23 PM
24hr low = $223
24hr high = $410 (looks like it's going to keep trendind up too).

That's pretty backwards and illogical, and such is crypto.

Feelings about which is better or why it's a shitcoin aside, if you're not monetizing this you can't hate on those that are. There's daytraders, there's hyper daytraders, there's mid-term monkey branch swingers, there's HODL'ers, and I got respect for all of you. We need all of the above for the eco-system to move.

On that note I see BCH/CC going to double/triple what it is now in the next week(s), yes even with everyone dumping it.

And yet another sleeping giant awakes Smiley  - https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-XWC looks like a nice rally is about to happen on this too. Crazy how all these coins are getting pumped lately.

WOW this thing just broke the fawwwwwk out (again)! https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-ABY

Think it'll hit 1000 this run?

Very. Nice. Rally.

Had to get in the volatility is delicious right now. Looks like this is following the OmiseGo pattern. Nevermind that though it seems like the whole cryptosphere is just popcorning right now Smiley.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OmiseGo on: August 05, 2017, 11:40:20 PM
Now that Aug 1st is over, btc spiked, and the whole market is spiking with it like popcorn. Undervalued coins or coins with good foundations are getting rewarded as speculators are trying to guess what's next to x-fold (meanwhile the whole scene is getting pumped too).

I think we just hit a really big fast-forward button on everything crypto atm - we'll see how long it all lasts.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Any Pre-August 1st Sellers Buying Back In Now? on: August 05, 2017, 08:47:30 PM
But haven't you heard? Bitcoin is dead, it diead 150 times now, lol.

I bet there are tons of weak hands crying right now.

Never swing your full pot in/out if you're here for the long hodl, the short gains you might make may surprise you one day like today and buying back in will be but a dream or a loss before a gain again..
