This tends to go full circle.
I grew up mega poor/bad home life and environment, hit big twice in my life so far as an adult, and know what it is to have abundance vs not enough. Being content is more about being happy in your human journey - within yourself first. The things and people you surround yourself with are just a reflection of what you attract in this world and vice-versa. YOU are in control of this. Once you HIT BIG, you travel, you spend on dumb shit, you get immune to stimulation because you can do anything at anytime, you're free from the matrix. Eventually you come full circle and start to wonder "ok so now what? what is this all for?..".
My journey started to turn spiritual, not by choice but rather by circumstance, the money won't make you happy if you don't know how to be happy before you get abundance (and like attracts like, surround yourself with a positive environment and with ppl that are much farther than you in life).

I think RIGHT NOW is an amazing time and we'll see a nice spike in the near for many reasons: * We keep testing 3K. * Segwit. * BCC - speculating that ppl will indeed dump, to get MORE BTC once their done dumping. * If we do breakout past 3K, I don't think it will be marginal, but could go straight to 4 without too much volatility on its way up. * This will attract new people/turn heads quick, media picks it up again re new ATH's and more ripple effect to buy orders. * Tons of bad news (btc-e/mixer/ico scams..), BTC keeps resisting re price drops. * BTC % is https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/#dominance-percentage finally reversing and it looks healthy  |

^ I agree. I'm sure the small/mid sized exchanges are not going to give up all those transaction fees and it will be the talk of the world for a while as it does its run.
All the alts are taking an expected hit as ppl run to btc for the airdrop, I think this will continue and might make btc hit a new ATH as we approach the airdrop.

I, like all ppl here, is losting btc/funding more or less from BTC-E now( 150K $ ). Someone like me are innocent of criminal, we just buy and sell for investment.
Actually, I used btc-e since 2014, never think it would shut down like today. Last month I deposited 150K to BTC-E, and waited to buy at the lower price. However, when I want to buy/sell 4 days ago, I realized that some bad thing happen. But I still think BTC-E will handle since i used some years.
I still have hope.
I still have to live in real life and do what I should do.

Mt prediction is it gets dumped - then sits low for a while - then gets pumped to co-exist at 10-20% of BTC price. I don't just see it fizzling away into nothing but also don't see it overtaking btc.

Interesting analysis, however I think we're about to be trolled on Aug 1st. A lot of people cashed out to fiat hoping for a big dip to buy low, and I have a feeling that that is NOT going to happen. Not from new investors, not from weak hands, not from some strong hands even. I think there is going to be a bit of a lag in buying, followed by a big rush (maybe even before aug1).

so far it is only listed in one place (and that one place is the only miner that is pushing for it!) and the price has been falling ever since it was listed. the coin is not released yet!
when it is released people will treat it the same way they have been treating the altcoins with airdrops for years. they will start selling the free tokens they have received and that will crash the price.
because in altcoins only a very small portion of people claim those. the biggest one is only 10% of bitcoin users.
with this BCC altcoins all bitcoiners will receive their airdrop and they will dump it. at least 80% of them will.
don't expect any decent price out of it any time soon.

I feel that a lot of people have their fingers on the trigger ready to buy in as they wait on "news that must mean a dip is coming, perhaps a huge one", however when it doesn't dip, and starts to rise instead, those trigger fingers are going to start going bananas around the world.

This is crypto, expect the unexpected . What if we're about to take off as of this run at this very moment, and be past 3K within a few hrs. ".... and then I woke up, and it was a dream, and then checked the charts, and it wasn't a dream"... It's actually going for a nice run right now so who knows the above may come true. it would probably suck because A LOT of people have already dumped their BTC to fiat in fear of said dump. I think it's a dumpfake and we're charging up the engines for the rocket that's about to take off. |
