81  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predicts $100k before end of the year on: February 22, 2021, 12:58:48 PM
Even if the new week starts with a decline, bitcoin will surely rise again.  we may be able to see new ATH values.  Thinking that way, it wouldn't be a surprise if a $ 100,000 ATH is reached before 2021 ends.  If we look at the balance of supply and demand in bitcoin, the demand is seen to be increasing.  I think 100k dollars can be seen once the demand is met.

Indeed it looks like this week will start in red, like many more mondays in the past. I wanted to mention Bidenīs stimulus $1,9 trillion package which will likely going to be approved in the middle March. When US citizens recieve stimulus checks, i am sure a lot of those dollars will go to crytpo and we might see a huge boost just from that.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What happened to https://etherdelta.com/ on: February 21, 2021, 03:27:46 PM
Very painful I lost money investing into their ICO, the team took the funds and move on, after their ICO, nothing of note to point to. I do believe in decentralization, we will likely et it wrong but with time we will get it right, decentralization is the future of the space and people are working tirelessly to building this.

I was wondering why would anyone invest in their ICO back then. It was obvious they were trying to squeeze as much money as they could from that situation. I admit back then, the idea was brilliant and they started a new era of trading, but it was soon clear there wont be any major interface changes which was not user friendly at all.
83  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have a Bitcoin exit strategy? on: February 21, 2021, 03:17:47 PM
Judging by what we saw when $41k -$35k dip happened and all major exchanges went down, it might be a bloodbath if the burst will happen. In that case, no exit strategy would help you. My strategy is to transfer bit by bit to fiat every now and then, so even if the bubble bursts, i will have some some profits safe and sound.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will replace the Silver Marketcap on: February 20, 2021, 09:33:38 PM
Bitcoin is now 1/10th of the gold marketcap. It is currently at 1 trillion and it needs to raise by 10 times in order to reach 10 T marketcap. This means that roughly the bitcoin price will be 500,000$ at that moment.  I don't see this happening in this market cycle. However, we might be on top of gold, after the next market cycle in 2025.

By 2025 gold price will go up more and marketcap of top companies will raise too, so i am pretty sure BTC price will have to be higher then 500,000$ in order to overtake gold.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and the real world. 💸 The Movement! on: February 20, 2021, 03:22:45 PM
I think for now it is still viewed just as an investment, much like gold. We have to be honest that current fees are preventing BTC and ETH to get integrated with any other usage and other coins are just not popular enough. I really think after this issues will be dealt with, we can expect crypto replacing fiat transactions.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No year of altcoins coming. All the big money is pouring into bitcoin. on: February 20, 2021, 03:15:16 PM
I thought the same till last month as I predicted, people would be just exchanging between bitcoin and stable coins. But luckily, I was not right. Many altcoins have already achieved their new all time high along with bitcoin. The first few months, the bull growth was limited to bitcoin but at the moment, some coins are rising even more prominently than bitcoin.

Altcoins will always rely on BTC gains and they are just too tempting not to try your luck with. Everyone can read the graphs and see big potentials in quick buck from altcoin pumps. Why you think casinos are one of the most profitable businesses, because people are addicted to gambling and making quick gains.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Physical Attacks getting more serious on: February 20, 2021, 03:05:21 PM
That is pretty scary indeed. There is still bunch of people who are publicly bragging about how many BTC they own. I am very sorry about those individuals whos addressed were leaked by ledger hack. Imagine making a breakthrough from early investing in a county with low income and then being in danger because of Ledger incompetence.
88  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How do I pay taxes? on: February 19, 2021, 09:49:53 AM
Depends on the country of residence. Some EU countries still have really vague tax laws when it comes to cryptocurrencies. For example in my country you only need to pay tax if you exceed 100 trading days and for mining. In some countries if you hold a coin for more then one year, you dont have to pay tax.
89  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Russian Government Passes Draft Bill on Bitcoin Taxation on: February 19, 2021, 09:41:41 AM
So they will recognise crypto as property. In short, you will have to report all transactions (buying and selling) if they exceed $8000 per year. If you are late in reporting you pay extra 10 % fee and if you fail to report your fined with 40 %. Long term holdings are not taxed.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel, Looking at the Bullrun market? on: February 18, 2021, 10:33:26 AM
Its so bizzare that a lot of people feel agitated even thou they have huge gains in the last few months. I cant loose the feeling that this rise is happening way to quicly and will therefore implode. On the other side there is always FOMO present, and i always have a feeling i sould invest more.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid big commissions to pay ethereum ? on: February 18, 2021, 10:24:55 AM
Its just hurts to see how much ETH goes for transaction fees now. Since DEFI mania started, we havent seen decent gas fees and it doesnt look they will go down soon.
In my opinion this is the biggest downside of ETH tokens and BTC. That doest look good if you are a new investor, a big turndown.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do ordinary people feel afraid of Bitcoin? on: February 17, 2021, 12:35:22 PM
People are afraid of losing the peace of mind they have (taking a salary every month). Many people do not know how to manage their own finances and are afraid to invest or give their money to someone else to invest instead.

It's not just Bitcoin, it's a fear of investing because they just don't know how to handle their money.

Thats true, majority of people in my country are just holding their money in banks and are not investing it anywhere. The fear of locking your money and not beein able to access it immediately is too high even thou they dont touch that money for years.
Crypto has actually quite high liquidity but people are not willing to educate themself.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does Quantum Computing mean for Bitcoin? on: February 17, 2021, 12:25:54 PM
Depends if we see a slow integration where every system will be able to migrate and adapt to QC, then there wouldnt be such a problem to switch to QC mining. The real threat is if governments (or some rich corporations) are building it in secret and will have a huge advantage over majority of current systems.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feb 22 & XRP, what do you think will happen? on: February 16, 2021, 11:30:27 AM
I think there will be a compromise between the two sides. Otherwise it will be bad for xrp. If negative decision comes, xrp may get worse than its current state, but if positive and good news comes out, the xrp rise definitely starts like crazy.

Of course there will be some sort of compromise, XRP will probably have to pay some fine, they will fix the issue and business will go back to normal like every other big company does. Bad publicity already happened back when this was announced so the negative impact if over. I dont expect anything else but price going up if this bull run continues.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: average daytrade profit on: February 16, 2021, 10:38:30 AM
Hello,

What would be considered as a good daytrade strategy? 1,5,25 or even 50% profit?

I would say everything over 10 % is a good result. Right now in a bull run you can probably reach even higher but if you are not willing to spend a whole lot of time trading, then maybe best strategy now is just to hodl.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: taking profit can be hard sometimes. on: February 15, 2021, 11:38:35 AM
One of the limiting factors in some countries is also tax laws which make your profit withdrawals much harder. In some EU countries they consider you as a full or part time trader and you have to pay all the costs towards the country. Thats why its sometimes not an easy decision to deposit your earnings on a bank.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is about wake up as sleeping Dragon on: February 14, 2021, 11:42:20 AM
Biggest crypto trust fund Grayscale is also pretty bullish on LTC since its there third most invested coin in their portfolio. According to https://evox.dev/grayscale/?coin=LTC they are holding $317M worth of LTC and accumulating more.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Or Invest ? on: February 14, 2021, 08:59:49 AM
You can also try out trading bots together with some free or low cost signals. There are quite some free platforms out there which will automate your trading 24/7.
In bull market its quite easy to do some positive trading so if you have time and are eager to learn, i would say go for trading.
99  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Email extortion/blackmail for Bitcoin. on: February 13, 2021, 06:05:36 PM
Another example of an interesting "personalized" spam extortion is when a scammer uses one of those hacked email/password databases which could be accessed by anyone and then sends you an email including one of your actual passwords. If the user doesn't know about the database leaks, it can be really alarming.

Ive got one of those spam emails with BTC address 1F34aT9yKXbHB5aGUBqi6U4Mm343LAEFTV
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the people or group of people will buy the btc top ? on: February 13, 2021, 09:16:12 AM
I wouldnt worry about that, the higher BTC gets, FOMO will get stronger, that's just a natural way how our mentality works. And who says early investors and long time holders wont stock up more. If that wouldnt be the case, whole stock market would be static and by then, BTC will get even more accessible.
