81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL'ers sold 30BN$ of Bitcoin causing the crash on: August 13, 2018, 11:12:46 AM
Personally, I won't stick to a random analysis. I don't know the exact reason for such a decline but what do you think, if HODLers sold who is really into the market right now?

And who shows resistance in the market?

Just some logical questions that may give some food for thought.

The data is right there. But, as always in here, the cultish believers of Bitcoin are unwilling to see anything that does not support their religious belief that Bitcoin is going to the moon.....
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / HODL'ers sold 30BN$ of Bitcoin causing the crash on: August 13, 2018, 10:55:37 AM
Everyone in here seems to think that the crash is due to newbies panicking. Reality when you look at the hard data is that it is the HODL'ers who are selling and crashing the market.

Don't believe it? Check out the analysis for yourself:

https://www.coinspeaker.com/2018/06/12/bitcoin-price-decline-2018-caused-hodlers-30b-sell-off-says-chainalysis-report/

When HODL'ers say "HODL HODL" they are either lying while they are selling. Or if you are truly HODL'ing then you simply being scammed by the other other HODL'ers who are busy selling to you.....
83  Economy / Economics / Re: Newbies panic & Old timers smile, when the Bitcoin price take a dip. on: August 13, 2018, 10:38:34 AM
Yes, this is correct. Newbies usually get panic seeing the market price is going down and tend to sell all their coins instead of buying more bitcoin for investment because they're afraid that might lose all their money. On the other hand, old investors feel happy seeing the prices going down sharply and take advantage of the opportunity to buy more for better rewards when prices are up.

This is where the difference of experience comes in and those who are experienced know that this dip is the time to buy more at less price and sell during the rise rather than doing the other way round which newbies does it. Also newbie gets panic easily when the market fall and sell their holdings.

Again - not true. Data shows the downturn is driven by HODL'ers who are selling

Not true - actual analysis of the data shows it is the HODL'ers who are selling and causing the downturn: https://www.ccn.com/bitcoin-price-decline-caused-by-hodlers-unprecedented-30-billion-sell-off-research/
85  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's all RED!!! This could really be the end. on: August 13, 2018, 10:17:34 AM
Yes, the crypto price is dropping but it doesn't mean that it is the end because it is a normal nature of crypto to dropped it's price because it's volatile. At this moment, the crypto price is getting better so I think there's nothing to worry about it.
agree, nothing to be afraid my friend, we the true holder will keep the coin and we soon will see the bull run after etf is approved. Vaneck will be the first to get bitcoin trust approval from sec. I believe market soon will be boost in 400-500 billion in 6 months.

It is actually now proven with data that it is the HODL'ers who are selling and causing the decline: https://www.ccn.com/bitcoin-price-decline-caused-by-hodlers-unprecedented-30-billion-sell-off-research/
86  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason for bitcoin Price Drop? on: August 13, 2018, 10:15:31 AM
What is the reason for the falling value of Bitcoin?  I have already lost some money by holding on to it. Please advise me!

Sell off to limit your loss before it gets worse. Solid analysis of the actual data shows the downturn is caused by HODL'ers selling - people in here who say "HODL" are probably just looking to sell their own and are trying to convince other not to do so to save their own skin.

The full data showing the HODL'ers are selling can be seen here: https://www.ccn.com/bitcoin-price-decline-caused-by-hodlers-unprecedented-30-billion-sell-off-research/
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Make-believe toy money (Bitcoin) is coming to an end on: August 13, 2018, 09:37:30 AM
From $6700 yesterday till $5900 today, wow! It looks like this is the end of bitcoin.
This is the end.  It will be a continued long decline to nothing.  but this is nevertheless part of the very end.  You missed the peak.  Now go find some alts.

not gonna work - alts are also tanking
88  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the Worst Case Scenario for Bitcoin? on: August 13, 2018, 09:36:19 AM
As long as there is no mass ban for crypto, and everybody uses crypto. There no such thing such as Worst Case scenario for Bitcoin. Whats happening now is Bitcoin is going down and down for a major consolidation. This is pretty healthy.

Everybody does not use crypto. Actually almost no-one "use" crypto. Some HODL it, but no-one uses it which is also why eventually it will diea slow death
89  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's all RED!!! This could really be the end. on: August 13, 2018, 09:34:56 AM
I think people getting wise to Tether is just about to explode.  Probably 50% reduction in all cryptos in the next two days.  Mark my words.
How it is interesting that in January the world is already thinking about declining of the prices on cryptocurrency and almost 7 months after we are still having that declining, sadly it takes too much time this time.

it is not "too much time" - this is only the beginning, it will continue down for a long long time
90  Other / Meta / Re: 95% redundant posts. Research bitcoin before posting on: August 13, 2018, 09:32:58 AM
Unfortunately, even genuine threads asking questions or requiring help get nuked by spammers, which makes this forum look like a chore.
It is irritating to see questions like, 'Bitcoin is down, is it time to invest now?' 'I lost $xx,xxx in trading, should I cry/stop trading/end my life?' 'What is bitcoin/cryptocurrencies to you?' 'Will/How bitcoin/cryptocurrencies change the world?' still posted today, and the thread always gets some useless first replies, very few genuine replies, then spammers start quoting each other and beating the dead horse.

I only enjoy this forum reading new threads, threads with few replies, or threads in specific, not spam-oriented sections.

such sections do not exist as Bitcoin itself is spam
91  Economy / Speculation / Re: India just BANNED Bitcoin? Will BTC now crash? on: August 13, 2018, 09:32:00 AM
It seems the decision of India about banning Bitcoin has not effected Bitcoin price too much. This kind of things will always continue to happen until Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies displace real money.

When the news first came out, it caused a crash in the exchange rates. If I remember correctly, the exchange rates nosedived from around $12,000 per coin to less than $10,000 per coin. So you can't say that it didn't had any impact on the exchange rates.

but since then we are down much much more
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fake volume in exchanges on: August 13, 2018, 09:30:35 AM
I have experienced such thing online before now. If its true, it means that such exchanges that are caught doing this should be scrutinized so as not to deceive investors.

You forget that crypto is an unregulated market - that means that there is NO-ONE to scrutinize this and exchanges are free to deceive as much as they want
93  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's all RED!!! This could really be the end. on: August 13, 2018, 09:28:46 AM
You predicted well!
it has never been a smiling issue since then .
By now we already know what it is all about, but not how to escape this anymore. This is not the end of bitcoin anyways. But it is really boring.

Time for people to cut their losses while they can
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peak get lower and lower, and dips get worse on: August 13, 2018, 09:28:00 AM

we had good predictions this year I  don't know what happened. maybe we will have the bull market soon enough

Clearly the predictions were not good as they were just plain wrong.....
95  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the Worst Case Scenario for Bitcoin? on: August 10, 2018, 10:12:05 AM
Bitcoin will always stay stable and keep its top spot, none of the worst happens because bitcoin is a typical coin in Cryptocurrency.

Always stay stable? It has never even been close to stable. It has always been extremely unstable
96  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's all RED!!! This could really be the end. on: August 10, 2018, 10:10:51 AM
It seems that your prediction is right, but unfortunately I've been holding it. It's a bad decision, but I still believe that Bitcoin will come back after the correction, and maybe most people have no other choice now.

Sorry for your loss, but you do have a choice. You can sell and realize your loss - or wait until BTC price is even lower and therefore your loss will be even bigger. It is not a nice choice, but you do actually have a choice.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Prove Bitcoin is not a bubble on: August 10, 2018, 10:09:19 AM
Very funny question. You think BTC is a bubble? Market Cap of BTC is $253,408,802,317 ....still you think its bubble? who will invest is bubble such huge amount of money? Today crypto currencies market cap is Market Cap: $573,726,741,543 - 44.2% is BTC dominance. This fact is enough to understand it's not a bubble.

It would interesting to hear the so-called "investors" in here that denied BTC was a bubble in December - how do you then explain what happened?
98  Economy / Speculation / Re: India just BANNED Bitcoin? Will BTC now crash? on: August 10, 2018, 10:04:41 AM
Yes maybe it will have another crash due to this event, India is a big country and there are many investors in India also, losing so much investors will lead to another dump because people will sell all their Bitcoin to the markets cause they don't want to against the law.

And what then happened?
99  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's all RED!!! This could really be the end. on: August 10, 2018, 10:01:21 AM
So there is nothing to worry about. Don't panic sell. Try developing a new project. That's about bitcoin!
Yes I agree on that we don't habe to get panic. this is normal thing in crypto everything may change because of the unstable volume of investors in the market place, maybe the investors of today is decreasing because of some other negative issue or maybe there are some factors that affect the price. But we don't have to get worry everything will maybe back to normal.
The end of crypto is cannot being explained by just a a simple color of the market. Everything is unstable and we cannot even know when will be the exact time or maybe date of the of the price to change. If we don't have faith and sell it on this huge dip because we are being panic due to the huge dip thatvw e all experience maybe we are in a big loss.
Yes we all need to wait for for the price to change before we do selling our tokens or maybe coin in the crypto market. If we are going to sell it on this huge dip we can maybe loss an amount of profit when the time comes that the price rise up high. So we need to hold on it today for good.

if not then at some point you will just have to sell at an even larger dip..... Your choice is to either take a big loss, or wait and take an even bigger loss.... I warned people in here in December and January that "HODL" was a stupid strategy - they should GTHO (Get The Hell Out). You obviously didn't and therefore now have to choose between losing big or losing even bigger....
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is like cancer-pill, almost worthless on: August 10, 2018, 09:58:53 AM
Grin Grin That's really a good joke buddy. In my point of view, I would consider the banks as a cancer pill because they keep on increasing the charges and take away our money in the form of various deductions. Our money is not ours until the banks hold them. Your opinion doesn't matter as long as it becomes true which I seriously think it won't . Anyway, it's good to keep opinions in front of others but at least provide a valid example if you are sure of what you are saying.

You clearly did not read the article - or if you did you were unable to understand what was meant by a cancer-pill
