The ambient temperature here in summer is very hot, typically around 35C. I usually set this: Target: 64 Limit: 75, I dont want to force gpu fan too much.

To be honest, this is one of my most favorite coin to mine and trade. I mined it during last August and September, and the return is really good. Currently its difficulty may 3x but still not that bad. The interesting thing about feather coin is it likes an old man, and after a short dump, its price will be recovered very quick.

I think that is why you are having an error after few minutes its because your miner is getting more hotter.
Are you using Afterburner? Try to change the temp limit on afterburner to 65 degrees.
Hotter temp on GPU could leads to temperature protection so this is might be the reason why your miner stop after few minutes.
I'm keeping my GPUs under 55 degrees. Here is my MSI Afterburner settings: Power limit: %60 Core: 160 Memory Clock: -300 Thanks. The power limit which was set in MSI afterburner doesnt really work with MSI 1080 ti Gaming X. I have couple of this gpu (and msi 1070 seahawk), maybe you could try to do several tests like reduce further power limit, but I think the problem may relate to intensity. What's your intensity setting. And dont lower too much your mem clock. |

I'm not regularly update the software, I like to use the version which is most stable. But I always switch to mine other coins. This time we dont have much choices but it's really interesting on doing researches which coin give us better ROI during the dump period  |

mining at 16k for 850$ there will be some coin to mine with ASIC with equihash algo, but the question is is it really a good time to buy this asic now for august shipment i think we can still ROI and mine some other coins.
Yes mate, it looks too good. And I think the situation is getting worst. Let see about the ROI after just 2 months. It's not that easy to get ROI just in 5 months even for asics miner (except you get the miner from very first or second batch). 16k sol/s is even better than my 6 gpu rigs (gtx 1060) lol. I got ROI and I'm lazy on doing research which coin I should mine, also I would not buy any asic miner, so I just keep mining eth, xmr and zec. Well, it's really a hard time for us.  |
