Now is a great time to invest, a few days ago was even better. The market probably will be in the green zone the following few weeks at least.

1. Try to bruteforce the wallet.dat yourself with a good password list 2. Give your wallet.dat to a reputable recovery service 3. Cry and forget about that wallet, if you have not backed up your seed or have no clue as to what the password may be

The value of the bitcoin is definitely making this a lucrative opportunity for the dark community, so more attacks will follow. The weakest link is always between the monitor and the chair It's people writing these programs, so that is usually the weakest link. Even banking systems are less secure than the bitcoin software, if you ask me. The wallets are safe, the problem is with the third party services who suffer the attacks at most.

My predictions. Next 100x coin is XLR or PIRL. Next 1000x coin is ETH (kidding)
If I remember correctly, the high for XLR was at $ 48 ? It would be nice to have that. Thank you for the timely scam alert by the way.

Speculations. Most of the cryptomarket is going up today. Why do people think it just MUST go down before/after the holidays? Maybe a lot of people are actually gifting bitcoin/litecoin/some other currency during the holidays?

Interesting concept, looks a lot like the Binance trading app, I guess they all look alike. IMHO, needs maybe something special? Are you going to post a contest for txbit.io branding/logo contest? I would recommend maybe a silver/grey background? It would make it stand out of the masses. I take it small amounts of XLR can be staked after the zXLR will be enabled in April?

aplistir, thank you for the explanation, it was helpful told my friend he should have trashed the firewall and started mining instead of abandoning it long ago. Oh well.

Hi, my friend asked me this question today. Way back he set up one of the first bitcoin clients, which generated coins. He generated a bitcoin genesis transaction, however it never synchronized with the network, maybe due to his firewall. The transaction of generating the coins never made it to the network, so this transaction is useless now, right? There is no way to write it into the network, and no way to reclaim those coins, am I correct?

It's a great coin if you're one of the whales of the coin. Did you ever think about looking at the wealth distribution chart? https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xlr/#!rich It gives an idea as to how the coins are actually distributed. Top 1000 1,100,404 XLR 96.23 % So like 1000 "rich" people own most of XLR, what does it tell us? This coin is nowhere near popular. Going into POS is like suicide. If nobody wants to even mine it during POW stage, who is going to buy or trade it afterwards? Look at the wallets, 1000+ XLR - these are mostly masternodes. People invested around 7-10 thousand dollars in the hope of making money. That's it. You have almost NO consumers - small investors or miners who believe in using this coin for something. Compared to other coin projects, it's a sad story. At most it will come out to be a small money-laundering business. Oh wait, zXLR is not even working now, so scratch that out.

Well the zerocoin protocol in this coin sounded very good, what was the point of making it and taking it away? Now I"m afraid my little small coin is lost forever I'm also afraid that every feature will be like that. Will be fun to hear in a few weeks - "Oops, sorry, we didn't fully implement Masternodes how they are supposed to be, we're just bringing down the whole idea for two months to fix it". Looks like the team wants to get their hands on everything, but in reality doesn't have the resources to do so. Shouldn't people try to work it out step by step? What is the point of creating or announcing another feature, without fixing what is already done?

Hi, just a question. I minted 1 Zerocoin without reading details - zXLR, the wallet allowed this transaction, since it's not supported right now, there is no way to take it back to XLR? So it's stuck until April?

Yobit is just...Yobit. Try creating BCA or EXP wallet with Yobit, you also won't be able to.

"How to buy ETZ: The pre-sell is sold out."
It was for early investors.
Pre-mine will be distributed 20% every 20 days, network difficulty meanwhile will grow, plus many people will hold, Yobit users were already credited ETZ for their ETH, and the price dropped from $360 to $80. Will not go lower than $60 is what I think. Might grow back up to $360, since people will need a lot of ETZ for masternodes.
I suppose you can contact Binance support and ask them if they will support ETZ and credit your account with ETZ for the ETH you held, or if they can give you the private key to your ETH wallet in their system, so you can claim ETZ yourself.
Depends where your ETH was at the time of the fork. If you have the private key to the account which held ETH at the time of the fork, you go to myetherwallet.com, on the right top corner you chose a network custom node instead of the default one - instructions are here: http://cryptocoindaddy.com/how-to-claim-etherzero-coins/Then enter your private key or load the private key file +password like you usually do with MEW, your ETZ 1:1 are in the wallet.

The reason that ETZ is $80 right now at the market is because people are buying it at that price. Once you can transfer ETZ out of Yobit, more people will be willing to buy it. The chain difficulty for miners will never make the price go down to $1, since it will not be easy to mine or acquire. No miner right now will sell you at the price of $10 or $20. I definitely won't, but if you want to bargain a bit, PM me I remember such talk when PIRL started out - "scammers, junk coin, fake". Very very very lucky people bought PIRL at the price of $0.05 when it started out. Now people go to Discord to cry that they sold PIRL at under $1, with the price over $2 now, with PIRL being on top of whattomine list for months. With ETH at price over $1000, ETC at $30, ETZ trading $80, the price is not going down. 0 fee TX concept is highly favorable for token transfers, developers, ICO makers, etc. Even if this team won't be able to handle the project, trust me, there are investors in this who will make it work. Besides, I'm not selling "any amount", I'm selling my amount, which I have and can transfer to any MEW ETZ wallet right now
