81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple replacing Bitcoin in 2018 on: January 01, 2018, 12:03:01 PM
lol u kidding or what? BTC is the daddy of all coins so no one can replace it yeah but as seeing to this Ripple Price Prediction it has good potential to create history

Just because Bitcoin was the first, doesnt mean it will not be replaced and go down. Remember AltaVista, the hugely successfull and popular search engine? It went down and was forgotten when Google came around.

Altavista and Google. Bitcoin and Ripple.
It is very alike. Google was superior to Altavista when it launched. Ripple is also superior to Bitcoin. Its just a fact. Nothing can stay on top forever.

Right now people are selling their BTC for XRP. Id suggest people start doing the same because Bitcoin probably isnt going anywhere but down. Their top was $20k. Ever since it have gone down down down.

82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple replacing Bitcoin in 2018 on: January 01, 2018, 02:50:10 AM
Firstly bitcoin and Ripple are a completely different thing.
It's like comparing gold with real estate.
But rather correctly it's like comparing a popular cryptocoin with a ponzi.

True but People cant even mine Bitcoin today unless they own expensive asics. The whole currency is nothing more than investing project at this point.
Ripple is better in every way (faster, cheaper) and have far better potential at getting much better value increase. Not to mention Ripple is about making payments much faster and cheaper for everyone.

If you want to mine and make money, you can do that on several other cryptonetworks that is much better than Bitcoin.

Bitcoin sucks in every way. There is no point in keeping it alive and Im glad to see people selling their Bitcoins and see Bitcoin go down in value. These changes are long overdue.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple replacing Bitcoin in 2018 on: January 01, 2018, 02:27:03 AM
I hope XRP overtakes BTC but I think for it to happen in 2018 is a bit far fetched IMHO.
But then again, Adidas passed Nike and all it took was Kayne!

Lets not forget that Ripple went from $8B to $90B in ONE month. Bitcoin sits at $240B and is declining every single day.

I think it will happen very soon. Money is flowing in to Ripple in a extremely fast pace
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ripple replacing Bitcoin in 2018 on: January 01, 2018, 01:32:51 AM
I think that in 2018 Ripple will be the preferred coin and will take over as the biggest network by a good margin. Money is already moving away from Bitcoin and people are selling it for XRP and other cryptocoins.

Im glad to see people finally see that the true «shitcoin» is Bitcoin.

It is painfully slow, it takes away peoples money because transactions are very expensive, and it consumes a whole country worth of electricity because it is so inefficient and requires so much computer power just to have it running. In addition its forking left and right because miners cant agree on something and its anarchy there now.

85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple (XRP) is a shame to the crypto-community. on: December 31, 2017, 09:02:12 PM
It's getting way too much attention for how shady it is.

You people do know it was created by banksters right?

You do realize, it's one of the most responsibly manipulated assets in the crypto scene right?

You people realize we are trying to get away from banksters influence, right?

Or are you all so drawn in by easy money, you disregard your morals and values?

Disgusting.
Ripple is helping people build and look at Blockchain’s differently though you are correct, they aren't working with the other Cryptocurrencies that well because of centralization.

Actually XRP can serve as a bridge to exhange Bitcoins for Ethereum, Doge for Indian Ruples etc etc.
All in seconds and at almost no cost.

Watch Ripple being integrated in to almost anything the coming years  Wink
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: December 31, 2017, 08:24:37 PM

Watch XRP price explode when Coinbase adds Ripple in January officially.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s everyone’s opinion on Ripple (XRP)? on: December 31, 2017, 06:49:07 PM
What does everything think will happen with ripple in the near future and distant future

Any good news or bad news on the project

Please give your opinions
XRP is premined, half of the supply his being hold by the developers,it is a centralized coin.

Wrooooong

6 billion are held by Ripple.
55 billion are locked down on third party escrows which Ripple can never spend on themselves
The rest is on the open market

Go learn about Ripple
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin that can replace bitcoin as major payment on: December 31, 2017, 06:46:47 PM
Bitcoin are old news.
Slow, expensive and unefficient as hell

Sell your Bitcoin. Wouldnt surprise me Bitcoin goes down in 2018
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I sell all my ripple on: December 31, 2017, 06:43:40 PM
If you have good gains you should sell ive heard that ripple's supply will increase that will cause the price to go down,

Supply will only go down because Ripples are destroyed everytime they are used. The existing Ripples will therefor go UP in value because they become more rare

Go learn about Ripple Wink
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I sell all my ripple on: December 31, 2017, 06:14:25 PM
We have seen nothing yet. Ripple have barely started  Cool
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple (XRP) - valued now $ 2.26 will reach $ 10 in 2018 on: December 31, 2017, 06:12:54 PM
Coinbase will add Ripple in January. That alone will probably move the price much higher.
2018 will be a fantastic year. Might go higher than $10 Smiley
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can ripple be 10x-20x in few years ??? on: December 31, 2017, 02:37:34 PM
The market cap of bitcoin is 220 billion USD at the moment and the total market cap of all cryptocoins (including bitcoin and all altcoins!) is 582 billion USD.
If you believe that it can make x10, consider that the market cap of XRP will be 870 billion USD if it raise so  Smiley
So I guess the answer is no...it can’t have a marketcap more than bitcoin... I agree with you but don’t know why people talk so much about ripple
its can have a marketcap more than bitcoin of course! nothing is impossible you say it wrong, its not really likely
The market cap we see on cryptocoins today will be nothing compared to the market cap in 2018.
We have only just begun
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A very good message about Ripple (XRP) on: December 31, 2017, 02:20:30 PM
I got to see very good msg on Twitter from person named CryptoYoda‏.
This is it...

''I don't want to open another discussion about $XRP really, but it seems necessary. Banks control Ripple. Crypto was created because Banks cannot be trusted. Yet you put your money into $XRP although they control both price and supply? Invest one hour of your life, see the truth.''

I think This is logic. What do you think about his statement?

You and this clown have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
Ripple is about super fast payment across thousands of applications that is much cheaper for banks and for us the customers.
In addition it will not be controlled by any company, bank or institution because the nodes will be decentralized through thousands of nodes that no one control the majority of.
Banks today control fiat through inflation and money production, in addition the government can dictate how it operates.

Ripple is exactly what the cryptoworld need and what people should support. Which is why everyone is buying Ripple/ XRP.

So go away with your mindless ignorance
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the Ripple future prediction? on: December 31, 2017, 02:15:27 PM
Ripple is against the what BTC or Crypto's purpose. That's what I can say. Rest is up to you. Ask your self and think yourself.. If you really love the purpose Crypto or BTC you wont be fallen for Ripple.. Thanks.

95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is it better to invest in bitcoin or ethereum ? on: December 31, 2017, 12:13:19 PM
I think the best option to choose is to make an investment in the company of bitcoin.
Bitcoin performs excellent within this year and I think in the year 2018 many blessings and opportunity will come since there are lots of demand from their services in the public market which is a good thing in our side.

Bitcoin is a shitcoin. Not sure why some people are still clinging in to the Altavista of search engines.

Its painfully slow, expensive and unefficient.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: December 31, 2017, 12:11:37 PM
What do you think about Ripple? He calmed down, or he still has growth potential, who knows, the test of transactions in the banking system was successful?

Just a little healthy breather while we celebrate new year  Smiley
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: December 31, 2017, 12:10:29 PM
A few days ago sold all my BTC remainings of around 0.045 BTC and bougth 588 XRP @ 1.27 USD. Will see where they will lead me.
I hate BTC, as I sold 1.5 BTC when they were only 1000 USD per BTC. Fucked up a lot. Last hope for XRP Smiley

HAPPY NEW YEAR, everybody!!! )))

The chances of 2x, 4x, 8x etc your money are much higher on Ripple than Bitcoin thats for sure. You made a good choice Smiley
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP’s Trajectory for 2018 on: December 30, 2017, 11:01:07 PM
In the last few days, XRP is seen not following the direction of Bitcoin that is falling down. XRP even increased up to 70%. This shows that the movement of cryptocurrency is not fully triggered by the bitcoin price movement. Is it when the bitcoin price drops, everything goes down and otherwise? No. Because some altcoins like Stellar, Ripple, Dash, and BTS are proven to give resistance and go in different directions. Right now XRP was in number 2 on CMC, this should be a great movement for its future.

Everyone is ditching their Bitcoins and spending those on Ripple. That is why it is going up

And when the time comes, people will cash out from ripple and allocate their funds to bitcoin.
But, we don't know when it will happen as xrp seems still has the attraction in the market, maybe like Op said; xrp towards $10.
I have some money invested in xrp as well and planned to cash out at $5 marks if it can increase a little higher, maybe hold it a little longer will be more profitable.

I dont know man. I think Bitcoin is a dead project.
Its expensive. Just moving funds around steal a good chunk out of your money.
It takes forever to send and recieve Bitcoins.
They have forked in to 3-4 Bitcoins now and many more are planned.

Why the heck should anyone support Bitcoin when there are other better networks out there where you can even have a chance at mining coins? You cant even do that with Bitcoin anymore.

100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ripple the currency of the future? on: December 30, 2017, 10:33:01 PM
They have great community but i think ripple partnership with different banks has nothing to do in the future its very centralized and we investors traders need to have decentralize transaction or hidden wealth should be stored here,

You dont get it.

Banks are the reason why this coin is going to the moon.
The total cryptoworld today is nothing compared to the values that will go through RippleNet once they start using XRP.

Bitcoin got nothing on this coin
