81  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling or Casino gambling? on: March 07, 2020, 05:46:41 PM
Although when I feel bore, I go to the casino but I prefer online gambling. The most prominent reason would be, Casino gambling takes a lot of time and the traffic is a headache. So, I prefer online gambling which is less time consuming and efficient as well.

This is why some casinos are located near the hotels and motels, so gambler can stay on this hotel without going through the traffic, hotels and gambling casinos complimented each other, some hotels are promoting casinos to their guests and casinos are promoting these hotels to their clients and some casinos are located in hotels.
They both almost have same business line i.e. they need people and provide them what they want. Luxury hotels often have casinos in basements etc. and motels also have links with nearby located casinos. Both help each other monetarily for sending customers. In this way they earn great.
82  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you borrow money as your bankroll if you trust your skills in gambling? on: March 07, 2020, 04:55:42 PM
I am currently thinking of making an experiment on my own, I have friends who are willing to lend me money for whatever purpose I like.
For this purpose, I like to use the money that I will borrow as the bankroll in sports gambling.

Anyone here have tried this? What can you recommend?
I tried this once when I am addicted years ago, but I manage to pull this off because of my confidence that i will win, however this is a dangerous move when applying to gambling. I advise you to do not attempt to do this again.
Not only confidence rather you were lucky that day along with a treasure of good skills. All these things combined to make you won the bet. I can bet that maximum gamblers lose money when they play with borrowed money. Never ever play with borrowed money because consequences of losing the game are dreadful.
83  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is easier, stop when you are winning or stop when you are losing? on: March 07, 2020, 04:24:01 PM
As Jocko said, discipline equals freedoom.

it may be easier to stop when losing if you lose it all or have a critical point (total capital) where you decide to stop or a number of loses in a row that makes you take a break.

simmilar to winning, to be fair.

That's what I could never understand, tbh. How can it be hard to stop when you won something already? Is it so hard to shut down your computer, or get out of the casino, or whatever, when you've got some extra funds to celebrate your lucky day? I mean, if you won, you can make it your lucky day, if you stop immediately; but you have big chances of making it your bad day if you continue playing.
Yes! It becomes tough to shut down computer when you have won some good money and have chances of winning more. Greed plays an active role in this and even your mind starts calculating the money you can win from another bet. This is why it is suggested to leave gambling when you won a good money.
84  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: March 06, 2020, 09:23:21 PM
It simply is related to self-control. Those who have control over their greed and they know what amount of money actually they can spend on gambling are the ones who enjoy playing this game. Those who have sole objective of gambling to make money are the ones who often get addicted and frustrated.

To be honest, not all of them are being addicted to gambling.

I do also want to earn money from gambling, and again, to be honest, that is one of the purposes why I am gambling; all of us are dreaming of winning something from gambling. It really depends on the gambler himself since if he really is a responsible human being, he will never let himself be addicted to gambling, he knows when to stop and he knows that no matter what happens, gambling will never be a source of income and you are just having fun.
I never believe this thing that people gamble for the sake of fun only. Even in seeking fun, a part of them wants money, it becomes happy by the very idea of being rewarded in the form of money. So yes everyone gambles for money and we shall gamble smartly in order to save ourselves from losses and meet success.
85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you share at least one gambler who have become rich in gambling? on: March 06, 2020, 09:11:07 PM
Why do you think gamblers should (always) become rich ? It's a normal job. Most people don't get rich with their job, they just earn enough to survive and probably some more to go on vacation and things like that.

Because of this we should fix mindset about gambling it self. People gambling for money and " fun ", not always success but the main part is they not use loan money and enjoy the journey. Many people success with gambling tournament because dedication and disciplines, that's more important than become rich, I totally agree with you.
There's no doubt that there are people who are treating gambling as professions and they are not playing to be rich but instead they are playing to survive and make a living. Those so called professional gamblers are people who are good in controlling their mindsets while playing, they don't have any emotions that can lead them to greediness and forget about goals that they've set up.
Don't have specific name that can be an example for whoever doing this and become rich as they will hide their identity for security purposes.
As you said, for few smart people gambling is not just a game rather it is a profession. They gamble not to enjoy or become rich in short time, they gamble smartly in order to make maximum money. These are the people who have fixed goals and they stick to them rather than going with their instincts.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to bet on U.S. politics with crypto? on: March 06, 2020, 08:44:55 PM
Politics betting is not a bet which every gambler likes to play and in fact most of gamblers don’t.

That isn't true mate. If you will look into gambling as a whole, upcoming politics event is always on-trend in the gambling world. Big money always circulates in fiat gambling as this event is not a bet gamblers can see regularly. I'm not just sure though if, in terms of crypto-betting, the same status also happened but I'm sure it is. Crypto sports betting sites will not include political betting on their betting list if it isn't yielding a good number of bets.

As for recap, these are the sites that mentioned here by our co-fellow members that have an open betting for politics-related events;

sportsbet.io
onehash.com (mutual betting)
fairlay.com
1xbit.com (dyor - its a must)
Betmoose.com (parimutual / fixed odds betting)
stake.com

It really opens up my eyes. I didn't expect that there is a gamble like this. Although I'm not really familiar about this, I usually think if this is even possible. Thank for the recommendation and will try to see later if they will be available in the coming elections.
This seemed impossible to me as well in the beginning but then I realized that everything is possible in the world. There are people who bet on elections and these are the ones who usually have the secret information about elections. It seems that only few who are not in any way linked with politics do such betting.
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Leave gambling, if it destroys you. on: March 06, 2020, 08:27:06 PM
I had a different situation.  I loved going to a nightclub.  There are a lot of girls in the night club, and that's great!  But on the second floor of the club there was a casino ... At the entrance to the club, when I bought the entrance ticket, I received free chips in the casino.  And then I won at the casino!  And I forgot about the girls and started playing all the time.  I stopped dating girls.  I had money.  I often won at the casino.  But I had no more sex.  That was bad.

Your story is funny though.  Grin You already have the money so it would be not a problem anymore to date girls. But in your case, it seems you found your happiness in gambling. But for those gamblers who really are in deep debt owed to gambling, I think they need to evaluate their situation and maybe, gambling is not for them. On my part, I gamble from time to time but only using my extra money, so gambling has no big impact on my financial situation. So far, it is not destroying me but rather providing means of entertainment whenever I have free time.

Yes.  Now I have learned to control my actions.  Now I have no game addiction.  In general, one addiction can only be defeated by another.  I started playing computer games.  Half an hour a day And over time, my addiction to playing in a casino disappeared.  And now I play in a casino, play computer games, play sports and sex.  Everything is fine.  Life has become interesting and harmonious!
This is cool that you have timely realized the consequences of gambling addiction and have found a decent way of overcoming addiction. There is a saying that explains what you said about one habit killing another i.e. diamond cuts diamond. Those who have addiction shall understand this point.
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you borrow money as your bankroll if you trust your skills in gambling? on: March 05, 2020, 05:37:54 AM
Most of the people are clearly think that using money that you lend to your friend in gambling is very risky .

Im not against if you are really want to use it but for me it is not bright idea because have chance for your money to lose it. Experiment the chance to failed is very high because you do not know the result.
If you doubt your gambling skills, then you shall never ever gamble with borrowed money because this further puts you in trouble. Only do such stuff when you are sure that your skills will not let you down. Such techniques will work when there is sports betting. All others are more dependent on fate.
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you see Markets on Gambling Sites? on: March 05, 2020, 05:36:25 AM
Most big companies do it because it allows clients to stay longer and explore. People are explorers and they like to be entertained so the more you offer them the more they will do on your site.

Selling merchandise is buildin the brand. Somebody buys that cheap mug and takes it to work or offers tea to a visitor and you could have a new potential client. For the company it's money well spent, for you not so much.
For me market seem it having a lot competition in each gambling site because of many people get interested to it. Also ot seem lot of promotion to get the attention of players, and I think its a good thing happen in the market because most of them are worth it. Basically when market continue to be like that then surely gambling  sites will become more popular even more.
Gambling sites have hyped in the last couple of years by the introduction of online gambling casinos. People now don’t have to leave their homes to gamble and they don’t have to stay away from horrible people in order to avoid brawls etc. promotions are the backbone of marketing and gambling sites need them for attracting players.
90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your recommended ways of gambling. on: March 04, 2020, 11:05:32 AM
Gambling is one of the easiest ways to earn more money and many people getting attracted to the world of gambling. In playing gambling some of the people say it test your luck here if you can win a lot of money. Still, there is a hidden technique for how you can earn more. First, you must need to have a piece of knowledge about the game because sometimes you need to take advantage next is to find some techniques you can use while you are researching your desired games. Now you can apply to the real game if you win that was good but if not take this as a lesson and if you are still confident to play it is good to continue but always remember that be aware of the money you win or lose. It is okay if we ask other people too so we can exchange a lot of ideas that we can apply in our game. Gambling is full of fun and excitement but it is risky to play.

Your post sounds like a gambling advertisement!  Wink
When people read such thoughts, I hope they understand that if earnings are easy, then losses are very easy. It’s easy to earn, but easy to lose - it all depends on luck. As for special techniques and skills, they help to manage money properly, but they do not affect luck. The risk of losing is always more likely to win.
Losing in gambling is more observable by players than winning. There are many factors that contribute to this situation placing fate on top of the list. We shall understand that fate usually helps those who help themselves and in gambling people become their own enemies by gambling all the time without any check.
91  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can writing how hard you worked for earning money restrict you from gambling? on: March 04, 2020, 09:32:49 AM
Earning money is real hard and it's a no-brainer. So basically what I do is I write down in a diary of my daily income along side with what I have sacrificed for earning that amount.

It is really hard to earn money by this time so seeing your money being lose in a gambling will definitely hurt you a lot. You know what, it is not really a bad thing to gamble but just do limit the time of gambling. Dedicate a little amount of money that you are afford of losing and ofcourse a discipline in yourself so that you will not be so addicted to it.
Disciplining yourself especially in a game such as gambling where there are maximum chances of getting addicted is a must to do a thing. You can discipline yourself in two simple steps i.e. limit your time for gambling followed by limiting your money. This is the only effective way of avoiding gambling addiction.
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep a spreadsheet for you wins and losses for tax purposes? on: March 04, 2020, 08:50:45 AM
I do save some of them but that is just when I am using my money, I don't use my cryptos most of the time just to save them.

I am also doing that for the sake of the losses so I could stay track of it though I am not doing that for 2 months now since I've been busy with thr OTs in my job. Another thing is that if the government do not know my wins and I just say that I lost a lot, I would not have a problem. That is something taught by us by our taxation teacher.
So your taxation teacher is teaching you corruption. As a nation and great citizen, you shall not hide your assets or gambling profits. Well just to evaluate yourself and your strategies of gambling, it is always recommended to keep track of your losses and rewards. There is no other way than this to assess yourself.
93  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Leave gambling, if it destroys you. on: March 04, 2020, 07:54:15 AM
first we should not be addicted to gambling , first thing we must leave is addiction , and have control over what we are doing and know how gambling is changing life we it is in negative way then definitely stop

what all points op said should be in consideration  before entering the gambling
Yes if we want to not destroy our life because of the gambling you need to not addicting playing.
Because the number 1 reason why gambler destroy what they have because they did not control while they playing and also they are greedy to the profit that can cause losing more money.
But it is also the hardest part of gambling, to avoid getting addicted.
Being greedy is already in the nature of a person, removing it seems to be impossible. The only thing a person can do is to stop for a while if they think that they are getting addicted, that way, they can prevent from digging their own grave.
That is was hard and of a big challenge when sometimes you've been getting into addiction. Many gamblers whereinto that situation but they can make themselves leave gambling because they consider this as a source of income. And supposedly it wasn't a good idea but that gives them a life to keep and feel that they are secured in gambling rather than finding a job outside. And for us who still have a chance to escape for a horrible to be in the gambling, we have to make it before we got stuck and be addicted.
I always raise this point that gambling for the sole purpose of making huge money by taking a risk in the form of testing your luck is the mindset that makes you vulnerable to gambling addiction. Anyone who wants to escape from addiction shall limit his time and money for gambling immediately.
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to get lucky ;) on: March 01, 2020, 07:27:46 AM
This article shows four ways to get lucky:

1. Maximize Your Chances to Be Lucky

2. Listen to Your Instincts

3. Expect to Be Lucky

4. Look on the Bright Side

Can these steps make you lucky?!!To win the lottery you must get lucky first of all.
Do you have a way to make you lucky most of the time?
Number 4 is on top of my list and the one that I always follow, whatever situation you are in winning or losing I always look on the bright side, gambling is something you cannot predict or expect things to come your way, so whatever the outcome always look on the bright side, you have other important things in life worth thinking of.
Those who have such an approach towards every hard and tough situation in life are the ones who stay away from incurable diseases such as stress and anxiety. Such people are the ones who don’t show the signs of aging soon as well. I wish I can also have such an attitude towards every problem in life. It helps in analyzing things properly.
95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the odds of winning the casino on: March 01, 2020, 06:09:16 AM
Playing gambling is all about chances and luck, that is why there are people who started to lose a huge amount of money in gambling because they are not in luck. I really believe that applying mathematics will not help you to win in gambling because gambling is all about luck and chances, that is why you should be really good at predicting things. And also, there are no people who became extremely rich in just playing gambling because the only people who can be rich in gambling is the dealer and the owner of a certain casino. Anyways, i am also playing in a crypto casino that has hundreds casino games that you could actually play and enjoy like poker, baccarat, blackjack, roulette, and slots. They also offer great bonuses and live casino with dealers that will give you high-quality gambling experience. Lastly, you should be really playing gambling for entertainment and for fun not to aim good money for you to have regrets and losing a lot of money.

Despite of everything you mentioned here, people still play gambling because they want to win. Their loss in gambling does not let them quit the gambling but they continue to play gamble. Few of them play for the fun but majority of the gamblers gamble to win money.

In short, the casino or the bookie themselves, are those who win most of the times and they are the ones who are benefited the most from it.
I agree, it's really depends to player if they follow the advice of their fellow players. Most gambler  do what ever it takes even they lose huge money because they chase to become winner which cause them to addiction, even they win they won't stop until they lose again. Also those gambler have intention to get more money they don't do it for fun but doing for hobby to get rich.
In short, such gamblers are driven by the urge of becoming rich over the night and they are the ones who pursue it for pure monetary causes. Such gamblers are the ones who really need counseling before they end up on roads. Such players are the ones who shall only gamble for a limited time and limited bets.
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: process vs outcome on: March 01, 2020, 05:50:06 AM
I believe everyone has their own reasons and goals in gambling. It is impossible to single out one process or income, because one is inseparable from the other.
Essentially the player will gamble for the win in the back of their mind. The tendency to gamble is inherent in humans and the availability of casinos allows for this primal urge to resurface, that is why the casinos are profiting from the players. Now many players will cite that they are here to enjoy their time and so they are gambling. That is just a blanket statement to cover their urge for gambling.

My point is that the outcome is not always important, the process of gambling may bring joy and that is the reason for playing casually between friends and at leisure once a while. Of course not addicted gamblers.
We all humans have this urge of winning games, competitions especially the ones that involve money. Those who gamble just once a week or once in two weeks are those who are really gambling for fun but those who gamble on a daily basis stating that they are seeking fun are the ones who are after money.
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Post a gambling site by: Newbie. on: March 01, 2020, 05:10:50 AM
Don't forget that every one of us here also started from a newbie. Not all newbies have a goal to scam other users so it's unfair if we treat them in general as is. Scammers are those who are making new/alt accounts with the purpose of trolling and hijacking other threads.

You won't get scam if you know the ways how to determine if a gambling site is legit or not. You can make your own search in or out of this forum. There are sites that seem trusted at the start but later on, become a scam one.
Everyone has to start at some point and just because someone is a newbie, we shall not treat them as scammers or someone with low knowledge. I never recommend going for a gambling site which basically has negative reviews on forums. Moreover, check 2,3 forums for honest reviews about a site.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Safe or crazy? (sports tickets) on: March 01, 2020, 04:51:32 AM
I think the bookies are making money on me, but I don't care, I still like high odds especially making a parlay bets.
I always understand that the risk is high of losing with high odds, but the feeling if I win is something I would love to experience as it brings fulfillment to me.
This attitude of yours shows that you are gambling for fun and thrill not exactly for making money. Playing with high odds is always risky in gambling and I will suggest you do this once a week rather than doing it all the time. Moreover, keep track of what you losing in order to avoid bankruptcy.
99  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have an idea in percentage how big gambling industry's contribution? on: March 01, 2020, 04:30:56 AM
In entire crypto market? At least on this forum, we are having more number of gambling campaigns against any other services. But, that does not guarantee that people are converting their fiats for gambling purposes or new people are entering into crypto space for the reason of gambling.

Do you have any track of a famous gambling house started accepting crypto payments in recent times? I mean if we see any such thing then we can assume houses are trying to expand their business by covering crypto people.

In my observation, I do see big number of gamblers online in most gambling sites compared what I have seen some 2 years back. It means more people are gambling than the past years. Also, I have read on this forum that many people had entered into this forum after realizing the benefits of gambling with cryptos like after many bitter experiences with fiat based gambling. It means gambling helps people to adopt cryptos for its own reasons.
In my own perception, I thing the contribution of gambling industry is about 60% because based on my experience it seem many gambler right now is interested and increase even more day by day. Also many players want to enter in gambling world because they want to take the opportunity to win and get earn.
The gambling industry is evergreen and there are so many people who aspire to join this in order to have great money in a short time with little efforts. In those countries where it is legal, I believe it contributes to almost 40% to 50% to the economy. People shall join it but not with the greed for making large money in a short time.
100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: February 29, 2020, 08:11:39 PM
gambling is a threat for people that doesn't have self-control, its fun for the people that only play to consume free time. Just always gamble what you can afford to lose, No one wins the house.

It is not just a threat for them.

There are a lot of threats that gambling can do even to people who play it for fun. As long as they are gambling, it is a threat to them. No one knows what will happen but they can still end addicted to gambling.
It is true, even if you play only for fun, you will still getting addicted.
It is only a matter of time when you get addicted. But all gamblers will be the same in the end. Gambling is a threat due to its psychological effect it gives to a person, it makes a gambler to play deeper even how hard he tries to control himself.

Not all of them though.

We can't really say that all of the people that are gambling will be addicted to gambling. It is a threat to them since the possibility of them getting addicted to gambling is there as long as they are gambling. I know a lot of people that are gambling and I can say that there is a chance that they will not be addicted but it will not be the same to all of us .
It simply is related to self-control. Those who have control over their greed and they know what amount of money actually they can spend on gambling are the ones who enjoy playing this game. Those who have sole objective of gambling to make money are the ones who often get addicted and frustrated.
