81  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advice for the new investor on: February 19, 2018, 11:28:57 PM
You said you were going to invest with bitcoin, then why go with traders. Just the fact that bitcoin is increasing in value dont need any trades.
There will just be a risk in doing so and might end up with a loss. Buy bitcoin with USD or whatever currency you want then HOLD it.
That is all for me. If you are going to trade then pick another coin to buy.
Altcoins fluctuates hard and you can buy a large amount to feel the income.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How bitcoin effect on our future? on: February 19, 2018, 07:44:31 PM
People are being very crazy about the bitcoin..
Everyone try to hold the bitcoin and want to sell at higher price.
How it will affect our future system?

And that became the wrong idea of it.
It became an asset. Okay, they made their profit but at the end of it the real purpose is not achieved.
As means of payment, as a solution for fast transaction and a lot more.
That should have been the one affected by now, but due to the volatility of it people come just for the purpose of money which takes away all the purpose it could have given.
Merchants wont enter if one currency moves too much. It can cause a lot of chaos with their business which they wont risk at all.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes Bitcoin valuable? on: February 19, 2018, 05:51:07 PM
So heres a little cheat sheet for any newbies out there who get this question or accusation:

1. Bitcoin is safe.  It cant be hacked because its decentralized.
2. Bitcoin eliminates layers of transaction fees.
3. Bitcoin is fast (especially after the lightning upgrade).
4. Bitcoin provides more privacy than normal transactions.
5. Bitcoin hedges against stupidity from central banks and governments.
6. Bitcoin cant be counterfeited.
7. Bitcoin isnt tied to other asset classes and is a hedge against other investments.

Thank you for this Sir. It might be some help in the future if someone asks me how can I tell its strength.

1. It is safe. I think it was proven with hackathon events.
2. Hmm. Cuts from companies then to another, bloating the fees. Yes. That was a good one.
3. Yes I do agree. Way faster than WU.
4. Privacy? Hmm, when it is bitcoin to same. Having a hard time with this now.
5. Okay that was a good one again.
6. Yes, just confusion was made because of the use of the name "bitcoin" by other cryptocurrencies.
7. Singularity? Am I correct?

Not fair if they will be the one getting the bounties.
But as far as I know all your documents are in the hands of the company. So how come they could get it?

If this happens more then it will be chaos. First it was just names and accounts they are using and now this. They are really going to a higher level of thieves. Should be wary of all of this.
This users are doing it to get a lot of stakes from a bounty campaign and their only effort is photoshop. I just hope bounty managers will be strict about this.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaign on: February 18, 2018, 11:22:54 PM
Try looking here.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0

Mostly they use steaks as how they pay the bounty hunters.
A share will be provided and will be divided in the percentage given for their service.
Example is social medias will get 15 percent of the total bounties which is like 2 percent of the total coins sold in the ICO.
Something like that. They give bonuses when the hard cap is reached too. But just some of them.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why alts are going down? on: February 18, 2018, 10:47:38 PM
My alts are going up.  Grin
Check your portfolio again.
You may have been supporting the wrong altcoin. Others might be in red but not all the way. A little percentage is just out and that is for the 24 hour period.
You will get used to this somehow.
Bitcoin stability will increase the value of the altcoin. There might be panics now at the market.
87  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: NEO is in great support on: February 18, 2018, 09:59:44 PM
Looks like it.
It is now getting expensive and will be harder to buy from now on.
But if one thinks long term then this could be the better idea than buying trash tokens from ICO which dont even have the capability for an ROI.
If it is money we want this could be one answer.
It could have the value Ethereum is tasting now and might even have better one.
88  Economy / Economics / Re: Peer to Peer Exchange on: February 18, 2018, 04:31:14 PM
Somebody told me about a good one - I think it's called Bitcoin Talk. Smiley

He hit it right. You are already here then why look for more? I dont think it is not allowed here.

If you want a faster one then get his skype or telegram address. That way you could talk faster and also see him if you use skype.
Now they say it could be localbitcoin which is the faster one but I do think it is not. It is still way faster here and also there is already a section for that.
89  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: my ether wallet can be hacked??/ on: February 18, 2018, 11:58:01 AM
It can be.
Etherdelta and Idex could be one of the culprit since you input your wallet address there (I doubt they will do that). Another will be those phishing sites.
That one is tricky, I suggest you bookmark MYETHERWALLET if you have check every letters already.

That is all the possibilities you can be hack. Be careful posting your wallet address at airdrops. There are also events that users have posted their private keys instead of wallet address.
90  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoins hit 30K before the end of this year? on: February 17, 2018, 03:24:13 PM
This questions.
You know what they are here for.
And it was literally stated in their thread, after that they're gone.

Yes it will hit that amount!
And after that you could sell it and will be having a hard time to come back. That will be a goodbye for you.
If I were you I would think again.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why I'm not believing in bitcoin as currency on: February 16, 2018, 10:25:26 PM
Well said, I really loved it.
It is not FUD. It is the truth you are trying to say here.
I hope this could open the minds of those who are just here to have knowledge about bitcoin. About the truth. It cannot be just invest and all about money.
There should be a good purpose in the future and that should also be the aim.
For now, I am giving it some time. Maybe it will change. Maybe they will see that someday.
All maybe's but the good thing is I dont lose hope.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Limit of Bitcoin on: February 15, 2018, 10:41:12 PM
As I have read some of the threads here. They say that was like a wrong price and this is now the corrected one which goes back at 8,000 dollars.
One more said, whales have been playing the bitcoin price. Dumping and now pumping again to create money.

They have different speculations but what matters most is the demand and you just said it right. The number of it will be depleted and as we go there it will be more expensive just like gold and other commodities that are consumptive.
The difference with gold is there may be parts of the world that still have a lot of it which arent discovered yet.
With bitcoin there is a number. No matter what happens, it will be 21 million.
93  Other / Meta / Re: Wasted Merits on: February 15, 2018, 10:35:31 PM
I would rather believe it if they have given it for the purpose of  letting tthe higher ranks decide which are good qualities.
More  sMerits for those who picks good qualities means a lot of low ranking could go to higher ranks  because of their quality posts.
But what if it was given to a bounty manager which doesnt care about merits.
It will be another waste.
Getting sMerits from Merits given is to circulate it not letting it rot in your profile.

This will never be a 100% efficient 100% accurate system, stop sweating it. Yes, some sMerits will never be sent (will rot as you put it), some will end up in the accounts of not-quite-meritorious users. It's a big-picture long-term thing.

I hope so.
But as I see it for now, there will be an unfair move that will happen here.
Low ranks will stay at that point or will take years to get a good ranking and high ranking playing the Merit to themselves, passing it to just them.
I am sorry if I am too pessimistic, I have just been in this forum and unlike other forums that I have been there seems to be like a political side here.

Maybe I just wasted too much time at Meta.
Well, I will be back at the other sections.
Thanks for the answers.
94  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy in your country on: February 15, 2018, 02:56:18 PM
Not much are supporting it and using it.
Government looks like they dont care.

But I love it the way it is.
I guess I dont want to feel the problem of other people here who are banning bitcoin in their countries.
Just thinking about it makes me feel there will be a large lost in life and also my pocket.  Grin

96  Other / Meta / Wasted Merits on: February 14, 2018, 08:59:16 PM
I have seen a lot of Merits that are wasted with bounty threads like those known managers here.
They gain merit just by posting that altcoin bounty?

I have tried to go to every section here (as much as my eye can handle) and I can see a lot of good poster. (does not include me I have bad English but I am trying without the help of google translate)

Now, I have seen a lot of merits given also in Meta section. I thought it was for good posts quality?

I'm hoping that this system will increase post quality by:
 - Forcing people to post high-quality stuff in order to rank up. If you just post garbage, you will never get even 1 merit point, and you will therefore never be able to put links in your signature, etc.
 - Highlighting good posts with the "Merited by" line.
Is bashing here and there somehow a good quality? This is bitcointalk, shouldn't it be for helping others get the knowledge about bitcoin and not power, DT or trust or ranks?  Cry

This is what I see: "I merit this cool powerful guy then they might consider to let me join the cool powerpuff group."

I know it is hard to see those who are in good quality of posting because of the broadness of the forum but please why the hell should sections like bounties should have it?
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy on amazon or similar website with bitcoin on: February 14, 2018, 08:43:30 PM
No. I dont know one and that is the problem actually.
We will have to change our bitcoin with fiat just so we will not be needing to go to the department store to buy.
We will buy using the COD (cash on delivery) or using our credit cards up until now for online stores.
But bitcoin is young as they say. Give it a chance. Let us see if there will be a merchant who will be willing to risk making a company using bitcoin as a payment method.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves vs EOS on: February 14, 2018, 05:07:06 PM
Erghh..

And I thought Waves will be the next. But looking at the comments of the people here looks like it will be buried again for some time until they will see how good it is.
I will wait for that time. For now, I will still pick Waves for I am invested with that.  Grin
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can world Government Kill Crypto? on: February 13, 2018, 08:52:26 PM
There is no World Government, only selfish per country government who are aiming to get more than their salary and what they milk from people's tax.

Look at Japan now, it is a rich country and yet they did an unexpected jump to accept bitcoin. That they cannot do? Why?
They dont want their people to be free with tax. All countrymen should pay for their pockets to be filled.
That is all the reason behind banning and loads of bullshit.
100  Economy / Economics / Re: You missed all the trains, not just bitcoin on: February 13, 2018, 07:32:38 PM
QTUM.
I really regret that I didnt get into it. For some time I do thought of it and what if's.
A large change had gone for just a year of QTUM which is really impressive.
If I just made it in time where I got money so that I could have invested in it.
But it is too late now. Maybe there will be another just like it, which are good with marketing and also with the community to pull more investors.
