81  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Humans vs Evolution on: November 22, 2017, 11:48:42 PM
Let's avoid the religious debate and assume Evolution is real

The prime drivers of evolution are
1) Random gene mutations
2) Survival of the Fittest/Natural Selection

The issue I see is that humans actively fight against natural selection/survival of the fittest...

We have hospitals where we treat down's syndrome, cancer, epilepsy, and all forms of mental and physical retardation

Without intervention, these "bad genes" would die and leave the gene pool... but, we keep these people alive, to pass on "bad genes" to the next generation

I know it sounds callous, etc., but it seems like a stupid idea to fill the gene pool with "bad genes", rather than let nature take it's course and kill off the poor bastards who drew the short straw

If a dog breeder had a dog with an obvious deformity, it would not use the dog for breeding purposes... that would be stupid to contaminate the breed's gene pool

Human vs evolution. Evolution of what? If human vs evolution of technology, human is behimd thia texhnology. If our technology becomes powerful than human. What will happen to us. If there is robots ,upgraded machines. Our society do not need human any more to work with those jobs. Humans will be replaced by machines.
82  Other / Politics & Society / Re: So the question is on: November 22, 2017, 01:13:17 PM
I didn't hear the question, but the answer is... the money... it's always about money

Corrupt politicians don't want competition from corrupt gangs... that's their job

My question is. When can our country finish or be done in starvation, laxk of education and being poor. When can be the philippines can be line up to the riches and most popular countries in the whole world. And when can crime and drugs will stop.
83  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why voting for the liar? on: November 21, 2017, 12:13:05 PM
Here are the profiles of Sanders and Trump on Politifact.

Tell me just one thing you Trumpers, how do you justify that nearly 80% of what Trump says is at least mostly false?

http://www.politifact.com/personalities/donald-trump/

http://www.politifact.com/personalities/bernie-s/

Is there any justification for that?

We are not voying for liar. We just vote the mam we think and we know that can jelp us. A person that we are looking forward that can end the problems in our society. We have no idea of what or who or who is liar from what we are voting for. We just vote because we want a leader to rule and help us all.
84  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Pro Martial Law or Anti Martial Law? on: November 21, 2017, 04:51:34 AM
Martial Law are initaied by dictators and tyrants who seek to control their citizens, it does bring about law and order but it takes away basic human rights from the people.

I'm not a pro nor an anti martial law. I dont know what is the feeling  being in a martial law or experiencing martial law so really don't have an idea about it. For what I heaed from the people who exoerience it. Martial law is not bad. If you did wrong then you'll be killed but if your follow the law there will be nothing will happen to you.
85  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Good without a god on: November 21, 2017, 03:51:45 AM
Hey guys,

Religion (a belief in imaginary all powerful supernatural deities) has been the cause of more death and suffering than any one disease ever to inflict the human race. Wouldn't it be nice if we could start working on a cure for that.

No! Its is not good without GOD. GOD is our creator so how can we say that it is good without HIM. we are born and before and after we are born there is already GOD. He already exist even we are is not born. God is our saviour and our creator there is no chance that without him is good.
86  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who is the most powerful politicians? on: November 20, 2017, 11:46:34 PM
For me its, vladimir putin for now. who is your powerful politicians?

For me the most powerful politician is the president. The president is elected to  lead the country to its success. The president jas the authority to rule his country to declare anything for the country.
87  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is democracy always necessary ? on: November 19, 2017, 04:55:21 AM
We all know that democracy means rule of the people. However, If a decision is adopted by the majority, It doesn't mean that It's totally true. Especially If the majority haven't good education level. In this case, should we consider that democracy Is dangerous for the global interest of the people ? What should we do in such cases
I hope you get my point

No it is not necessary all the time, it depends on the situation of the society and what kind of society a country has. In the philippines we have a democratic government. People has the freedom to express their feelings and their affirmtion and beliefs.
88  Other / Politics & Society / Re: After death on: November 19, 2017, 03:15:41 AM
There's been a question that's been bugging me for a long, long time now. What happens when you die? From someones side nothing, other say that your go to their versions of heaven and yet some say that we reincarnate.

That thing got me so bad that a few time's I've been on the verge of killing myself just to see what's happening then, it's killing me to think about it. What are your thoughts? I'm not interested in the christian or virgin filled muslim heaven, I'm interested in your ideas and what are your ideas on what might happen? One theory that stuck with me is that we are born again but in the different time or just born in the same timeline but as soon as you die, you're reborn on some other place.

EDIT: This question refers more the philosophical view on the period after ones death, so please keep the hc religious beliefs or non-religious away from this thread, tho there are already a few. Thank you.

There is a wonderful life awaiting for everyone of us after death. A life with joy and happiness with GOd and his angels. A never ending life where we can feel happiness and fulfillment. A life where we can never experience suffering ang hurt. A life that we can claim forever.
89  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people like Trump? on: November 19, 2017, 02:37:22 AM
We still have to wait a little more than a year to fully say the results and evaluate the work of the new president of the Donald Tramp. If you look at the bodies building With what zeal he began to change the new decisions taken by Obama, it seems that he is probably working against American citizens.

Other peoole love trump maybe because they see a unique side of trump. Maybe they see a special character to trump thay they poeple know that might help them and the country to grow. Every person has that special something or character and the people can see it in different aspects.
90  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money can buy happiness? on: November 19, 2017, 01:23:03 AM
Yes I also think money is not happiness. Money can buy some happiness in the form of material things but permanent happiness that comes from you. And I believe to be happy ourselves we need to be content with

whatever is happening in our daily lives.

Only happiness money can't buy. Because being happy is for free. You dont have to buy it. You can feel happiness in many ways without spending money. You cam be happy just being with your family and love ones.Happiness is a powerful remedy for all your problem. Just feel and be positive all the time
91  Other / Off-topic / Re: What’s the difference between being spiritual and being religious? on: November 18, 2017, 02:29:08 PM
Before we explore the difference between religion and spirituality, we must first define the two terms. Religion can be defined as “belief in God or gods to be worshipped, usually expressed in conduct and ritual” or “any specific system of belief, worship, etc., often involving a code of ethics.” Spirituality can be defined as “the quality or fact of being spiritual, non-physical” or “predominantly spiritual character as shown in thought, life, etc.; spiritual tendency or tone.” To put it briefly, religion is a set of beliefs and rituals that claim to get a person in a right relationship with God, and spirituality is a focus on spiritual things and the spiritual world instead of physical/earthly things.

The most common misconception about religion is that Christianity is just another religion like Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, etc. Sadly, many who claim to be adherents of Christianity do practice Christianity as if it were a religion. To many, Christianity is nothing more than a set of rules and rituals that a person has to observe in order to go to heaven after death. That is not true Christianity. True Christianity is not a religion; rather, it is having a right relationship with God by receiving Jesus Christ as the Savior-Messiah, by grace through faith. Yes, Christianity does have “rituals” to observe (e.g., baptism and communion). Yes, Christianity does have “rules” to follow (e.g., do not murder, love one another, etc.). However, these rituals and rules are not the essence of Christianity. The rituals and rules of Christianity are the result of salvation. When we receive salvation through Jesus Christ, we are baptized as a proclamation of that faith. We observe communion in remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice. We follow a list of do’s and don’ts out of love for God and gratitude for what He has done.

The most common misconception about spirituality is that there are many forms of spirituality, and all are equally valid. Meditating in unusual physical positions, communing with nature, seeking conversation with the spirit world, etc., may seem to be “spiritual,” but they are in fact false spirituality. True spirituality is possessing the Holy Spirit of God as a result of receiving salvation through Jesus Christ. True spirituality is the fruit that the Holy Spirit produces in a person’s life: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Spirituality is all about becoming more like God, who is spirit (John 4:24) and having our character conformed to His image (Romans 12:1-2).

What religion and spirituality have in common is that they both can be false methods of having a relationship with God. Religion tends to substitute the heartless observance of rituals for a genuine relationship with God. Spirituality tends to substitute connection with the spirit world for a genuine relationship with God. Both can be, and often are, false paths to God. At the same time, religion can be valuable in the sense that it points to the fact that there is a God and that we are somehow accountable to Him. The only true value of religion is its ability to point out that we have fallen short and are in need of a Savior. Spirituality can be valuable in that it points out that the physical world is not all there is. Human beings are not only material, but also possess a soul-spirit. There is a spiritual world around us of which we should be aware. The true value of spirituality is that it points to the fact that there is something and someone beyond this physical world to which we need to connect.

I think being spiritual is sonething like you believe in you self, in your soul that you can do anything amd everything. It means that being spriritual is like having a strong fighting spirit. While being religious means that yoi believe in our creator,  you believe in god exsistence and you trust god
92  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Value for LIFE on: November 18, 2017, 12:30:51 PM
I wonder why some people do not have value for life of others again. Even the government of some country does not have value for life. Now my quest is do you have value for life of others?

We must value our life because life is just onxe. We only borrow this life to our creator and that is God. He make us leave to experience everything like experience joy and happines, failure, succes, fear, love, hurt amd many more. We muat value this life because we are not forever alive we will die all of us.
93  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Heaven has streets paved in gold... on: November 18, 2017, 11:20:28 AM
The bible claims there are streets paved with gold in heaven

Why?

Gold is a soft/malleable metal... you wouldn't be able to drive anything heavy on gold roads

Angels can fly right?  Why do angels need roads at all?  Can't angels teleport or whatever?

Perhaps sapphire, or diamond, or unobtanium... but why gold?

Is it because the people who wrote the bible thought gold streets would be tempting to a desert dwelling tribe?

I dont know if heaven has street pave with gold what I know is you can see in heaven is GOD and his angels and a garden surrounded with flower. Not just flowers but very beautiful flowers.

To develop a strong character you must know how to fight how to stand with your own feet and you can develop those by facing all your fears and learning feom your bad experiences to learn how to be strong and how to fight.
95  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Future Social Media ? on: November 18, 2017, 07:52:35 AM
There are so many social media's available now a days. You may have heard or used ORKUT and Twoo. When they were started people were saying these are the best social media platform but when Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, Telegram and Insta etc came into the market they rocked or you can say change the era of social media.
What do you think these are the best and last social media??? Or in some year we will have another social media ?

Social media will become more  powerful in the future. As we know today social media already powerful. Every one is using amd addicted to it. Every hour everyday people are using it and it becomes a daily routin of all of us. That is why no doubt that in the future it will be more powerful.
96  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you feel about the death penalty? on: November 18, 2017, 06:12:05 AM
In the U.S. state of Arkansas for eleven days from 17 to 27 April - going execution of seven men sentenced to death. The reason for such haste is that at the end of the month expiration midazolam - medicines used for injections in the execution of the death penalty. Over the last ten years in Arkansas were not executed prisoners. The seven men were handed down death sentences in the period between 1990 and 2000, the years for murder, robbery and rape. Midazolam is one of the drugs used in the process of execution of a death sentence to the convicts fainted. In the US the use of this drug is considered controversial after 2014, one of the sentenced to death more than 40 minutes remained conscious after the injection of midazolam and died a painful death. European manufacturers of midazolam refuse to deliver to US an additional batch of the drug. Existing stocks will end shortly, so in Arkansas and hurry to execute the death penalty.

It feels sad yhat there is deatg penalty for those who commit crime. Because for me we do not have the authority to get the life of a living person. Only god our creator has that authority to get our ligmfe because this lofe is just borrowed to Him. Being in a death penalty is really disturbing. You will end your life because you commit a crime and you have made a sin that is unforgivable. So better leave your life happy and free from any violence and sin.

I think it is possible for a person to change personality when he/she gets too attached on technology?
I'm a gamer and I prefer violent gore games when playing on my computer, I think that affected that way I speak and treat others in a more aggressive way and IT's really not a nice change.

The impact of thw technology in our health is we already forgot how to sleep on right time because we are buaay doing things like social media as it is a part of our technology. We forgot to eat right amd forgot the bad benifit of using technology.

We must value our life because we just borrow it. This lofe we have is just temporary we cannot leave forever. If we lost our lives we cannot regain it again or we cannot have it again.
100  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Freedom of will on: November 17, 2017, 11:47:39 PM
There's just a simple explanation in every countries law
"You cannot compromise others freedom while utilizing yours."

And there too are moral obligations
"Your life in not entirely yours, you have responsibility towards your family, society and nation."

Freedom of will or freedom of choice. Every person has the freedom to choose and to do what they want. We are not born juat to obey and follow what ever our superior ask to do. We can choose what we want and what we feel. We have that freedom to become and to be what we want.
