Imprisonment is a joke nowadays. In India, the hardcore criminals consider going to prison as equivalent to a paid vacation. Also, they have prison gangs there, which prevents the jail authorities from exerting any form of control over the inmates.

It feels sad yhat there is deatg penalty for those who commit crime. Because for me we do not have the authority to get the life of a living person. Only god our creator has that authority to get our ligmfe because this lofe is just borrowed to Him. Being in a death penalty is really disturbing. You will end your life because you commit a crime and you have made a sin that is unforgivable. So better leave your life happy and free from any violence and sin.

Death penalty must be mandatory for the murderers and rapists. It is not like you can take someone else's life and then you can walk free after spending a few years in some prison.

I honestly feel that it is not necessary anymore. Indeed, it is God who gave us life, and it is Him that has the right to take it away. We should let those bad guys suffer from their own bad deeds if they still have a conscience.

Personally, I'm against it. It doesn't seem to be an actual deterrent and you have to ask what is the acceptable rate of error for killing people? Not everyone executed is actually guilty.

As long as its proven guilty as charged, I'm all good with it, specially when one committed a grave crime beyond human comprehension, I feel like this kinds of penalty gives/provides justice to the victim's family and the victim itself.

I agree to implement death penalty in my country. Because the death penalty prevents future murders, Agree. Society has always used punishment to discourage would be criminals from unlawful action. Since society has the highest interest in preventing murder, it should use the strongest punishment available to deter murder, and that is the death penalty.

Personally, I'm against it. It doesn't seem to be an actual deterrent and you have to ask what is the acceptable rate of error for killing people? Not everyone executed is actually guilty.

Previously that used to happen. But the advancement of forensic science in the recent decades, it is now possible to establish the guilt of the accused beyond any doubt. So in 99.9999% of the cases, it is the guilty who is getting punished. Also, if the judge is having even a 0.01% doubt about the guilt of the accused, he will not give him the death sentence.

So the death of those sentenced to die became earlier because of the near expiration of the drugs that will use for them.  I am not against death penalty, it is just for those criminals who are not afraid to kill innocent people.  I know that only God can take our lives away but I also believes that He "appointed" people to serve justice.

True, but who knows, in your country there is death penalty too, who will react on each execution? countrymen who are under the government? they are hopeless for sure, unless they will unite against the government which does not happen most of the time.

Death penalty is just fine, provided that there is really a strong evidence against the convict and it should be convincing to the public before authorities execute someone. I think rapes, and drugs shouldn't be included, only those who take life.
