TiamoToday at 12:29 AM @everyone I met with police today at the station, and did my statement as to what happened and have requested an investigation. The police were receptive to my story, and they have launched a formal investigation together with the Dutch National Cyber Security Centre. The NCSC will be in contact with the relevant New Zealand authorities and Cryptopia shortly. I was not given an estimated timeframe as to when. At this time I can not disclose any additional details, but I have reasons to believe that there is a viable path to a satisfactory conclusion for all. 👍

the "problem" of course with shared master nodes is no one has yet solved the security issue of how you can maintain control of your own private keys - while adding some coins to the pot of collateral to run a master node. Tiamo whom was trusted to manage peoples funds - had his PC hacked and the shared coins were sent to Cryptopia by teh hacker — https://explorer.gincoin.io/tx/50063a56cb17c62a717a8b7f4013c6044b29689383515c1da25f3186b963a180now they sit there until the cryptopia's admin and the authorities (in Holland & New Zealand ,presumably) can decide how they can proceed Developers have a good challenge here - how can we share in a trust less way so that we can pool funds together to share power of running master node network ? Yes after what happened with Gin with this shared masternodes service by Tiamo, it will be interesting to see if other masternode platforms can come up with a way where the people putting their coins into these shared masternodes services are safe from being stolen. GTM have done an amazing job so far and if they can come up with a way to fix this issue then they could potentially be the number #1 masternode platform in the world. the answer may involve a combination of custodial services and escrow to back up investors coins one for one in Cold Storage while at same time investing an equal value in masternodes [img][/im An update from Cryptopia.
For obvious reasons, please do not contact myself or our staff with abusive, aggressive or demanding messages. We are currently investigating and following the correct process, we will update as soon as we are able. For this reason we're unable to comment further when asked for status updates from the Gin Community.
We appreciate your patience and hope to resolve this as quickly as possible. If this could be pinned for people to see, that would be great.
Kind regards, Cryptopia Team

price is dumping why? is that just reflecting the general market for alt coins?
and the CATO MasterNodes - "guaranteed ROI". how doe that work?
as the price drops doe the payout for MN rise?
show me tables please
and can I set up my own Master Node holding my coins in a cold wallet and run the node on a server?
answers please
Im looking at that competition where if I buy 50,000 coins I could win 20%

this is a good buy opportunity now until Oct 3 - to take advantage of the 1 to 3 swap EBCH: CPEX which would also entitle you to the bonus tokens awarded
after the 3rd Oct \ 100 million CPEX total supply

💥Swap Extension💥 2 days
As of today, we have about 75% EBCH swapped. There are still quite a lot EBCH holders who have not swapped. We encourage all EBCH holders to swap asap. Once swap is over, EBCH will be rendered useless.
CoinPulse Team has decided to extend swap until October 3, 2018.
Thanks, CoinPulse Team

good to find this project. I am following GIN Platform for long time and so I am interested in who may gain a market share of shared Master Node space ... when was Gentarium launched? how old is the project. impressive to see that you've solved some of the problems and have launched some shared master nodes will this platform run shared nodes for GIN coin ? I would like to see that- whoever is the first service that can host a shared master node in a trust-less format is first to market. would be something of a competitive marketing coup to offer to host the competitor's coin before they do in a trust-less way-that is the key in cryptography

yes when are the shared master nodes going to be launched on GIN platform. particularly shared master node for GIN coin itself. that may be naturally the first node to work out the bugs in the system with then add in the others afterwards-once core team have had experience with their own coin which they can interact with team

was Swisscoin always PoS ? since the beginning?
and is it a masternode coin? or any plans to launch masternodes?
|
|
|
very pertinent question regarding costs to host multiple shared master nodes
the first service to address this problem adequately will gain market share
there are many low entry point master nodes that are prohibitive to run because their return is less than the hosting costs
e.g. Lucky Bitcoin

Hello Dev. I invested to make some master nodes is there a roadmap? any plan for a Mac OSX wallet?

I found reference to a hard fork Sept 30 and there is an active group on Discord maybe some admin can update links to Discord here and in Telegram so people can find it

has everyone gone home? or migrated to other coins... Telgram points to Discord and that invite link is dead the website returns an Error 1000 Ray ID: 45f43b33625da5e4 • 2018-09-24 09:30:14 UTC DNS points to prohibited IP What happened? You've requested a page on a website ( www.rupayacoin.org) that is on the Cloudflare network. Unfortunately, it is resolving to an IP address that is creating a conflict within Cloudflare's system. what will happen to master nodes that support this blockchain now?
