The way this has gone about is very unethical. You don't tease an announcement. This was done just to pump the price before the big dump on the 17th. If this was a stock held company in almost any country the devs would be in jail already. So there is no announcement on the 17th you say???....What do you mean you dont tease an announcement?....Stocks have regulations...crypto doesnt....This teasing is nothing new in crypto and does NOT indicate a scam....More times than not FUD is FAKE...its ridiculous and really only speculation....Every top coin seems to have loads of it.... Just something in generally, you can read it if you want: Normally a partnership is not related to payments. When payments have to be made normally, at least in the real world enterprises, you are either a sponsor or a client, but not a partner. It is not all about FUD by the way. It's more than normal that holders, investors, even miners, are concerned on whats going on and that they ask for maximum transparancy and within that, ask questions to things that without proper explaination do not look right or strange or uncommon. And NO, not every top coin is doing it like that. A real hard working dev team on a given top coin releases their partnerships AFTER a given contract is done, immediatly. There might be some expections of course, but i can not remember even one right now with such a teasing and hype, feel free to correct me here. The whole crypto community by now has so often felt to scams that, absolutly normaly, many people have their guards on. This is nothing bad at all. A honest working Team with ease can answer every question profesionally an wave away any concerns (or FUD as you name it) away. The problems here are a bit deeper here, just the last thing as an example: - Funds, exactly 18.6 XVG have been moved from the Crowdfun Wallet. People watch it closely and immediatly ask why? On one side i guess maybe to find a track to the myterious partner, on the other hand to see what happens with it. People all over on all channels ask the Verge team whats going on with these funds. Now the problem: - Verge team on all channels declare its for the Ledger Nano integration. Normally the story and concern should an end here, BUT the Ledger Nano CEO declines officially that they have whatever dealings or projects with XVG. - Not even talking about the price for a Ledger Nano integration as its basic is free and only custom software has to be paid. And the paid version is in the range of max. 150k USD, but 1.8M USD funds have been moved. - There wouldn't be any problem if 150k had been moved for Ledger Nano, if Ledger Nano did know about it and such integration had been planned with Ledger Nano. It would had been even a good sign for the project that way, but no, none of the mention was the case, hence concerns IF these funds are used exactly for that. These are real concerns that have to be adressed, not just FUD. One other thing that made a lot of people concern yesterday is this (copy over from reddit) The original crowdfunding tweet said that the donations will be used “to initiate a massive marketing campaign.”
The video on the donation page says that if the deal doesn’t go through the donations will be used to “fund other initiatives,” which are listed above, with the first one being Nano Ledger integration.
So since now the word is that donations will be used for Nano integration, does this mean there is no partnership? - Again a valid concern as the XVG video states: No deal ==> Nano integration which yesterday was mentioned on all channels by the Verge Team. Of course one shouldn't exclude the other, but than this has to be adressed upfront correctly by the Verge team. There is a huge list of little red flags if you look into it. Does it mean its a scam? No, but there are some really bad signs and flags that have to be adressed and its normally that someone is concerned. If there will be a big deal, perfect, whole Crypto community (not only Verge) will profit from it. If there is none or scam, the whole crypto community will suffer, one of the reasons non XVG holders are concerned as well. My personal prediction? Let's say with all these warning signals this scenario posted on reddit is close to what i think: I don't know of any contract or margin offer for Verge. But you can do a pyramid/hyip/ponzi and sell the invested XVG. When it crashes, re-buy it and return just what was invested. Make up some excuse for why there is no profit. P.S.: The so called "hacked" ~35M XVG would perfectly fit into this scenario, as many claim it was an inside job..... The True? 2 days away ..... like the US tax deathline, both on 17th April  The whole story in 1 comment. Good value here my friend. Many things were wrong from long time. All this time the price was stable and pumped due to fake accounts and bots praising them on every page, paid shillers and scam supporters that invested on this ico and they were trying to create a hype every day with useless updates, moon price predictions, false achievements, scam partners etc. They were trying really hard to convince newcomers to invest on this project no matter if people will get scammed. They were banning everyone that was asking for proofs from twitter, telegram, facebook, and every social media. They were also deleting posts on medium and reddit when they were trying to present code reviews, asking about proofs about their 480k TPS etc. We were trying to warn here everyone that credits has no value and we raised the red flags we have seen for such a long time. They were calling us paid fudders because we were presenting facts about this ico. The price is falling because there is no value to keep the price up and they cant create fake hypes forever. Only two days are remaining in the announcement and I am sure that it will be a great pleasure for the community with a great partner joining our community. I am holding my coins as I know that after that the price will start to increase to a certain level and after it is integrated and started to work then another price increase will start and I hope that sooner the price of it will increase multiple folds.
They announced a partner already that refused any partnership with verge. This is not just a red flag. Its how scams get panicked the last days before the exit. Be cautious guys. |

Ummm yeah well, I am being paid to fud by Vitalik himself because he is afraid those guys might take on Ethereum, their code is so so good. I am also a part of the 'Cartel' and we control the Bitcoin value and this bear market. We believe Credits is the new no.1 and will take over the world. The research has all the necessary info you need about red flags and how credits is operating.
On one line you say its ok to raise red flags and on the other line you say that is fud posts.
There is no contradiction because I differentiate clearly between raising red flags and fudding. Some guys at Medium and YouTube have raised red flags. They say 'be carefull and consider this' while you copy-paste 'scam, scam, scam' one day after another. Heeding to be careful is quite different from fudding. And better a raised red flag if we can have a decent self-moderated thread with normal discussions and news than to continue with a thread like this having your fud-spam smeared all over this place. Ivan in tech is just an idiot youtuber. He once did a video interview with a guy he said was his inspiration to do what he does. He was one of these guys who wealth coach when really they get rich from the shit programs they sell. Hes a fraud. That solution was not against red or green flag raisers who openly want to discuss maturely and seriously the CREDITS project, with all its pro's and con's but against copy-paste fud posts that kill all discussion and thereby totally spoil this thread. My red trust is, and should be, discussed elsewhere, where I prove that I was scammed myself by bounty competitors. The difference is that I have provided proof against Exxor while you only copy-paste spam message to frustrate normal discussion about CREDITS. You are contradicting yourself. I'm not blind to the red flags that were raised, and I sincerely appreciate the flag raisers, but I'm also not blind to the green flags, which are definately present also. To focus on one side or the other, BillionDollarMan, is a matter of perspective.
My perspective is that every person, or company, is innocent untill the contrary has been proven. And CREDITS is not a proven scam, so I think it is not fair to label them as such at this stage.
I think it is perfectly fine to raise the red flags when newcomers are visiting the thread by positing counter arguments in dialogue discussions. Then the ins and outs of the red and green flags can be discussed and the newcomer can make up his / her own mind. That is different from copy-pasting monologues. The forum was not meant for that. That goes for shillers also whose content doesn't reach beyond 'buybuybuy' monologues.
I feel you two have some grudge against CREDITS. Perhaps you were unfairly banned from Telegram or perhaps you missed out on CS due to the sudden hardcap. If that is the case then I invite you to talk about that. But at least keep it a dialogue, a discussion, both sides, instead of blind copy-pasting.

Okay. I think it is enough. I've been supporting the CREDITS project from the moment they appeared at Bitcointalk, and dispite my support I do not mind at all when critical questions are asked or doubts are raised. I would actually encourage it. A professional project can usually answer such questions and take away doubts. But the discussion should consist of content, not of personal attacks, mud throwing at each other, false linking, etc. This thread is being totally spoiled by a bunch of weazles who's only goal is exactly to spoil the thread.
I have a suggestion to cheus, the starter of this thread.
1. Open a new CREDITS ANN thread (or let the present Bitcointalk community manager do that) but make it this time self-moderated. This will enable the topic starter to remove unwanted content.
2. Put a reference to the new thread in the opening post and in a last post. And then close and lock this thread.
The weazles then can open their own spam thread for their poisoneous posts. And the proper CREDITS ANN thread can be reserved for proper announcements and interesting, decent discussions.

Thats true too but im not trying to warn the guys that are here praising credits. These guys are greedy investors that know already whats going on so who cares?! But newcomers that are thinking to invest have to see all the facts and they will hopefully learn to investigate properly before investing. There is a point that we learn only when we get burned by ourselves but at least its better they know all the facts first. I agree, it's very important for new comers to be aware of what they are getting into. Few more bitconnect level scams and whole market falls victim to US SEC regulations. Exactly.
