81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will IEO be good in the future? on: September 17, 2019, 02:59:39 AM
It was very profitable from the start but if you check it now, most investors get burnt. Exchanges required to buy and hold their respective token to be able to win the lottery but whenever the price of the tokens sink, the roi of the IEOs should be able to make more than 3x-4x when it starts trading or it's just breakeven for who participated. And if that happens, only the exchanges are the gainers of this new hype.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your thoughts on Facebook's GlobalCoin on: September 17, 2019, 02:30:52 AM
Either we hate or love it, Libra will become a free marketing for the cryptocurrencies to the whole world especially bitcoin. Just imagine all the millions of impatient millenials which are on the Facebook platform who just want to make easy money. They will discover bitcoin and invest in it whenever FB is making a huge advertisement on their coin Libra.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM ICOs, what we can do? on: September 17, 2019, 02:09:36 AM
Hi, recently so many past-ICOs turned into a scam or a deadcoin.
Is there anything what we can do to punish them? More than 2 years ICOs are scamming us and still people are investing, is this really a world what we want to create?

There aren't that much ICOs in the crypto space and people already shifted to IEOs which some says is where the new scams happen. ICOs scam are not the rampant anymore because investors would likely go to IEO instead of the old ICO. There are still some scams on IEOs but it's not that huge compared to ICOs because people can research which is a trusted exchange to put their money.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The perfect solution to scam in the crypto space on: September 17, 2019, 01:56:07 AM
With Smart Audit and ICO regulation implemented, SCAM will still ever exist. The regulation can never be implemented globally, some region will embrace it while some will stay away for the purpose of financial freedom which is the primary aim of Satoshi. We just need to find a way to reduce or combat it, I don't think it can be totally eradicated.

I totally agree. How would anyone can agree that a fully regulated ICO will never ever do an exit scam after 1-2 years? Because few of good projects that I know are either making another project or just abandoning it because they can't fulfill any of their promises after 1-3 years of development. And the regular audit would only happen if the team are very dedicated to every aspect of their project.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit Dev not shit coin on: September 17, 2019, 01:38:06 AM
A lot of alarm has been raised on shit coins which have become a concern to many in the crypto sphere, but i feel our attention should be on the shit developer rather talk about the shit coins. The reason why we have shit coins all over is because the number of shit developers has increased to the maximum, i guess it is time to begin to publish the names of shit developers on the forum in order to do some justice to the crypto sphere.

I don't think we should do that because some of the projects I know are where the CEO/COO just hire devs to create or work on the project. If they were shit devs then I don't think there wouldn't be investors at all because it will be seen as obvious scam from the  start. And some shitcoins was a result of either a failed project or an exit scam.
86  Economy / Economics / Re: How to manage the risk in investing cryptocurrency? on: September 16, 2019, 01:20:08 PM
After all my altcoins have reached virtually zero, I have very few tips to give Sad
The point is that the main feature of the crypto world is instability and insecurity, which is precisely what it produces - if we are good and lucky - big gains.
If you don't like it, invest in mutual funds

I think you've doing the HODL too much and that is the reason you lost in this game my friend. Some of your tokens are meant to be sold and not of them are going to be in your wallet forever. And don't forget to execute stoploss which is one my mistakes and that is the only way to manage the risks here in crypto trading.  But you are also right, either a shitcoin or good project will still give you big gains if you are lucky to experience its pump or  we are in a bull run.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If core bitcoin community moved from Bitcointalk to Reddit then.. on: September 16, 2019, 12:43:27 PM
Part of the community has already moved to Reddit, but nevertheless, in fact, nothing has changed. Now 2 community and in this there is nothing bad

Agree. There are just many topics out there in reddit which is not just cryptocurrency so perhaps that is why some members form here prefer spending their time on reddit. But for me, I personally feel that local community here in bitcointalk is much more active so I still choose bitcointalk than reddit. I still also see legendary members that are posting and contributing so I don't think the statement is true.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CoinGecko is introducing "Trust Score" to combat fake exchange volume on: September 16, 2019, 12:28:39 PM
That could be bad news to several exchanges like Okex, Idax, Bitmax and other shady chinese exchanges. But that is not going to be the case because coinmarketcap is still the leading go-to for traders to check price movements and ranking. I personally don't like the ui of coingecko which looks garbage to be honest. But CMC will follow that then it will ruin the flow of the profit of those exchanges.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the US Government Trying To Control Crypto? on: September 16, 2019, 12:13:03 PM
This is just the typical action of the government which is to control everything especially in the US country. I think the US real plan was to really destroy bitcoin but it shows that it their not successful despite their many attempts so now they are on their last resort is to be able to at least control it. US is still very powerful so we don't know what will be the outcome.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fake trade volumes on: September 16, 2019, 03:55:24 AM
It is unethical for any exchanges that are doing it but whenever I ask those people that have their coins on it that got pumped then they will say that it is not true. So even if it is  fake trade volume, people are going to deny it and enjoy their profits because they are directly having the benefits. A major example is okex which is leading the fake  volume and wash trading but people are still participating their IEOs because it always give roi instantly.
91  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: September 16, 2019, 03:31:51 AM
For me, lottery is not that very addictive and the grand prize is very huge if only one person got the lucky numbers. But I only do it whenever the grand lotto has already accumulated at least $20m because no one has won the past draw. I will also prefer lottery than the classic gambling because in casinos, the bigger you bet then the larger your winnings you could get but in lottery, even the small bets from average people has the same chance as everyone.
92  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟Bits.game 🌟 ⭐ New "PvP" Jackpot Lottery game ⭐ on: September 16, 2019, 03:14:07 AM
Isn't that going to be hard to make that PVP useful? Because a gambling site should have many active players everyday so they can always find another player to gamble with. This PVP should only be  added to the list of your games if you already at least maintained 1M players at your website because if not then I will not see your website profiting with it.
93  Economy / Economics / Re: China launching its own crypto currency ? on: September 15, 2019, 01:46:57 PM
Will, good for chinese government if they have launch their own crypto currency. As far i know, that the chinese government is one of the most strong and good economy so lets see on what will be the outcome of this.

The outcome will surely be positive for the whole crypto space. Chinese people are always patriotic to their government and that shows to the apps they use like they have Baidu instead of google and they have Wechat instead of Facebook. I just don't know if bitcoin maximalist from China will flip and exchange their btc for that token or they'll just invest some portion of their money.
94  Economy / Economics / Re: is it possible that the bitcoin was created by governments? on: September 15, 2019, 12:58:31 PM
According to conspiracy theory, Is it possible that the bitcoin was created by governments to gain financial strength in the modern world?

This does not all makes sense because first of all, they have many actions that contradict this conspiracy on so many levels. Like the government secretly buying btc, want to destroy bitcoin, want to issue their own btc version and so on. But it is possible that a high government official could have contributed to the creation of btc because he might not like how the governments operate and taking control of the fiat currency.
95  Economy / Economics / Re: The Risks and Rewards of Cryptocurrencies on: September 15, 2019, 12:39:32 PM
In every Bussiness have loss and profit, cryptocurrencies do not differ from it so I think if you take proper education about cryptocurrencies then you enter in cryptocurrencies and get great success  Shocked

Despite the fact that you are educated, there still lies a risk.

Who can predict the exact price of Bitcoin after years? Who can tell what will happen in the next 6 months? Are we still getting profit after 3 months? How about 1 and a half? A week maybe? We can't tell that, that is why despite the knowledge you have, you can still lose but obviously you know what to do to lessen that losses and get back the next time.

I could not agree more but he also right on the first part. To back up that statement, the rise of online shops made huge companies to file bankruptcy like Toys R Us and Forever21. Cryptocurencies are definitely rewarding when there is a strong bull market but the patience of anyone will be tested whenever there is a bear period and that is where is the risk lies and also the possibility of a scam project.
96  Economy / Speculation / Re: [2019-09-12] Bobby Lee Suddenly Makes $200,000 BTC Price Prediction on: September 15, 2019, 04:44:15 AM
He has a new product to hawk so of course he's going to make lots of noise and everyone likes to hear a far out price prediction. It would be more interesting if for once someone made a far out prediction about its eventual uses and how it'll change the world - 'your sexbot will run on Bitcoin by 2030'.

I guess that's less eye catching.

No way, I always find those who buy sexbot as the disgusting kind of people in this world. So in short, this is all just part of a marketing by a person who you can't trust in any way. And also, this was not very shocking and this guy is just a newbie in making predictions because several people have already made their btc prices to hit $1m in 3-5 years so please don't even bother.
97  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Faucet on: September 15, 2019, 04:23:22 AM
FreeBitcoins.com has a casino faucet for a few select places.  Well over 1 BTC given out in the past few months to players.

No play requirements, withdraw via blockchain after just a few hits.

Hope that you are not trying to imitate freebitco.in website since it is only a little difference with yours site. As far as I know freebitco.in is the oldest faucet site which is really growing until this day so yes, everybody is going to play or claim on that site because they have many events that you can participate all the time with such a huge payout

Freebitcoins.com registered on 2010-12-16.

Freebitco.in registered on 2013-10-10.

The two sites are completely different.  Freebitco.in is a 5% dice game with event gambling & "giveaways".  Freebitcoins.com is a straight-up faucet + crypto2crypto exchanges.

Freebitco.in was my favorite faucet and still my favorite one because the others have died and not paying anymore. It was also my first crypto gambling experience but I ain't that much lucky. You guys can count on this site for guaranteed faucet payment unlike my past experience where I have to  grind for a faucet before just to reach 100k sat in 4 weeks and did not get paid.
98  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Provably fair dice game 🎲 $1,000 Daily Race💰7-day streak bonus🔥 on: September 15, 2019, 04:01:34 AM
I visited the site and see that there are 45 active gamblers on Wolf.bet platform, at the moment. That figure actually is higher than average weeks ago. I think that the affiliate program that started days ago has shown its positively net effects. If the program last longer, and more kinda promotions run on the platform, I guess that there are more gamblers will join Wolf.bet platform.
It seems the owner(s) has not yet had plans to expand and diversify games on the platform, but if they want to listen to community suggestion, I think that Sportsbet is good, because there are so many kinds of sports, that are favorite by different gamblers, from soccer, tennis, eg.

Agree, there is only one game that if I were their players I will get bored in the next few weeks playing it.  If they will ever introduce sportsbetting then I think it will be hard for them to invite new users because they will have a lot of competition. Perhaps they should start doing big promotion like what others do like  a chance of winning a lamborghini in freebitco.in for their golden ticket contest.
99  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦍BitKong 2 is here! ⭐NEW BONUSES⭐NEW CURRENCIES⭐ANDROID APP⭐ on: September 15, 2019, 03:47:37 AM
I played bitkong a long time ago and it was very fun in my experience but why need to replace the banana with avocado? Their avatar is a monkey so it just feels it don't fit in the game. Also, I just remember that this is where I found out about martingale strategy and applied it to this gambling site and it was my highest win in all the gambling sites I have played.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Im sick and tired of this Bitcoin on: September 13, 2019, 01:19:38 PM
One of the greatest lessons one could ever learn in crypto is the essence of exercising patience. During my initial stages in crypto, I sold most of my valuable coins for cheap prices because I was too impatient to wait. Bitcoin is the coin which without patient one cannot see its full potentials. It takes time to surge hence patient is very paramount when holding BTC.

I agree that many crypto holders do not have endurance and patience. Especially when the media publishes news about a possible increase or decline in cryptocurrency. We need to keep calm at such times in order to have maximum profit.

I guess it's really just hard to say bitcoin is good when people got burnt or rekt in their trades while us who either get huge chunks of profit on btc or just really support the tech will always praise and defend it. Op is just one of the million people who have said the same thing after btc crashed and left for good but I'm very sure that his pain will be 10x worse when btc reach $100k soon.
