It actually depends, normally bitcoin price takes a dip during the first quarter of the year and goes bullish on the 2nd and quarter of the year. I have started investing on bitcoin last year and have witnessed how it came from $2,000 up to it's ATH at $20,000. Maybe, it will follow the same pattern and might even surpass it's ATH last year. |

I really think that bitcoin is the main currency in terms of cryptocurrency, and no other coin or token can replace it for now. People are developing coins and finding a way to replace bitcoin because they have seen the potential of bitcoin. In my own opinion, a lot of news about government restricting cryptocurrency is affecting cryptocurrency price. I am new here and as far as I can remember, China restricts crypto currency every year and goes back to crypto again when prices starts falling. I guess this is one of their ways of manipulating market price.

I invested $7,500 in the first week of January. Mix of ADA, XRP, XLM, TRON and BTC.
Knew about BTC in 2010-ish and never invested. Got sick I didn't so relented and put in $7,500 just about at the top.
Will hold but thinking I'll break even in 2021 or so.
It seems that you bought during the peak, however, since you have already experienced it, just keep on holding on your coin because it's normal for the market to crash anytime during the year. It will surely recover, just be patient. You will break even this year if you will be patient. |

It actually depends, if you are quiet late to sell and buy back, just hold or else it will just lead to further losses. It's good to sell when it's starting to dip and buy back when it reaches it's deepest dip. However, the problem is, prices are difficult to speculate. No one can predict when and how much will prices increase or decrease. Just trust your instinct with regards to this. |

Panicking during the dip is not ideal because it will just cause a chain reaction. Some people, especially those who are just new in bitcoin and cryptocurrency would most likely do panic selling when prices dip. If more and more people will panic market price will just keep on dipping more. I just quit my office job to have full time in crypto world. I split my time of day to work manything: doing bounty campains, researching good crypto to invest, trading 3 - 4 times per week (not day trading) and may be next time i'll learn about mining.

I also quit my job since my job is just giving me hard time and stress. So, I decided to focus on doing campaigns, researching for good investments and trading. However, this is not advisable if you haven't saved a lot of money to sustain your daily expenses, and if you don't have a weekly income on crypto. I decided to quit when I'm sure that my income from cryptocurrency can sustain my expenses, since my income from cryptocurrency is 2 to 3 times more than my salary working for 8 hours daily. |

Many people asking why there are a lot of altcoins, and they suggest limits the altcoin making should be done.
The reasons why I don't agree to limits the altcoin aside from the reason of decentralization.
Here are the few;
1. The monopoly of market will be avoided.
2. There is a competition of prices in the market that can limit the price of the stellar cryptocurrency to overshoot.
3. Altcoins can cause unpredictable fluctuation of prices in the market. Fluctuation of prices result revenue for the traders/investors.
4. New and small investors/traders will be given a chance to trade in the market.
5. There is a healthy circulation of money in the market because hoarding/holding will be prevented.
6. Exchange site/market can gain also a suitable amount.
7. Bounty campaign will be continued to progress.
This are good lists. It's good to have many altcoins because each coin is unique in their own way. Each has a good service, product and project that they promote. Some altcoins are worth investing because they are good for long term run. If there's a lot of altcoin, monopoly of the market can surely be avoided, and there would be many choice for investors to invest to. |
