I can say that we can survive even without bitcoin because first of all we already live before when btc not existed. But we can survive but not that good as we are now. Our status right now is good compare before.

Many of us may have read that 2018 will be game over for bitcoin.Every now and then have seen that every Tom, Dick & Harry Coin claims that their blockchain technology is better than bitcoin and they will solve the real issue with bitcoin network but in reality no one is even close to that.
Is there a alternate to bitcoin to replace it?
Can this crypto economy survive without bitcoin?
yes of course we can survive without bitcoin but it is tough to accept that bitcoin come to an end, we can survive but we must accept the fact that we who join this forums, campaign, investing and trading about bitcoin will not become more wealth person who experience the big amount of money that came from this crypto economy. Its true we can survive without bitcoin if bitcoin will end well we can accept it and move forward find another ways how we can survive without bitcoin. Maybe its not easy especially to those relying only bitcoin but in the end they find a better way. |

On my own life? Yes, i will survive even without the Bitcoin, but this cryptoworld, NO!, everything in crypto started with the Bitcoin and made thru the pattern from the technology of Bitcoin blockchain, so, without the Bitcoin, everything in cryptoworld will be vanish and became worthless.

If Bitcoin will die, eventually all other altcoins will also die. What is the purpose of having all the alts if you cannot cash out them anyway. You can only cash out bitcoin. The crypto economy may still survive but will hardly moved on. Remember that the main goal of having alts is because of bitcoin. |

As we know it, Bitcoin has been the foundation of the world of cryptocurrency. It has been the reference and the reflection of the rise and fall of the market. Since the incident about US and Bitcoin, the market got hit so badly the the Bitcoin price slowly to falls down and dragging all the other coins to fall also. In a whole Bitcoin has been in a red zone. What is more refreshing is that it is recovering slowly again and bringing the other coins to move up again. So without Bitcoin, the market will be a huge chaos.

dont worry with any news. Please HODL your coins. It will be raised at least with in 10 years.
Thats not impossible, well Bitcoin has been functional way back 2009, we should expect that it will be better for the next years. I think theres no better than Bitcoin for now, and the only one who can make something alternative to Bitcoin is non other than the maker of this cryptocurrency which is Satoshi but until now he is unknown, time will come we will know who is that person, and is that person can prolong Bitcoin? |

Here at Philippines, if bitcoin was die or remove then cryptoworld are still there, we cannot survive. The only way that we exchange fiat is only by bitcoin, that's why if bitcoin does die, all crypto must be waste.
There are too many coins that are better than bitcoin but there has no other coin if bitcoin are not really created.
If you notice, when the bitcoin dumps, almost all coins does dump too.

Before the emergence of Bitcoins, People were making money with the help of numerous investments and there are still other investments that people are going to use when Bitcoins dies, I am sure that another cryptocurrency is going to take the lead when that happens. |

There are new emerging coins having alot more features than Bitcoin like ETH and NEO and they can replace BTC in terms of market cap because they are having alot of potential and most of the future companies will be created on top of these new platforms.

actually so manyy FUD recently who are spreading rumors about bitcoin that is why bitcoin is affected. those who are new in cryptocurrency they sold their bitcoins in which it doesn't help at all to bitcoin but rather it pulls down the price of bitcoin. Don't think about the alternative of bitcoin because bitcoin is still alive and kicking. It will not die. |

I really think that bitcoin is the main currency in terms of cryptocurrency, and no other coin or token can replace it for now. People are developing coins and finding a way to replace bitcoin because they have seen the potential of bitcoin. They are trying to compete because they will earn a lot if they can replace bitcoin (which is almost impossible to happen.)
