82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Selling BTC for Alt Coins? on: March 21, 2024, 10:29:37 AM
I have around 2.1k in btc rn and was wondering if I should sell it and invest in a couple of altcoin projects, would that be a good idea? I know Bitcoin will never ever do another 5x in the near future haha so that's kind of why I would wanna sell. The market cap of btc would have to reach a very high amount for it to be life-changing money to me.

There are many people doing that in the crypto community here in the field of the cryptocurrency industry. And I'm already one of those doing that. I'll sell some of my bitcoin, then I'll buy other altcoins or meme coins depending on what I want that I see potential in.

But if your priority is to hold bitcoin, maybe don't do it because, of course, it's better to just hold it or continue the long-term holdings for it. Instead, you only use fiat to buy crypto or altcoins called so-called.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to earn money (cryptocurrency) in 2024? on: March 21, 2024, 10:20:38 AM
I have been thinking about making money in cryptocurrency, but I'm hesitant to try because I don't want to get scammed i.e. didn't get any rewards for the effort I spent. I'm really curious with the current hype in 2024 and how much you've make from it? I know that scam is inevitable in altcoins, so I might be looking to earn with less risk.

What I know the current hypes in 2024 are:
1. Testnet airdrop
2. Meme coins

What about NFT or ordinals? but I think it's really risky because it's non fungible and you can't make sure people will buy your token.
What about P2E games? I haven't hear it anymore.

Probably I missed other hypes or if you know the another way of making money, feel free to comment. Wink

I kind of agree with what you said that this is op, this year I noticed that it is highly hyped right now in terms of airdrops and meme coins. In airdrops, I saw potential airdrops that are free testnets that you don't have to spend money on, but you can get something for free every 8 hours, which is called Berachain.

Now you just have to use the protocol of berachain itself using the bera that you can get from their platform https://artio.faucet.berachain.com/ in addition to this the meme coins are usually the ones that make the noise are from Solana network, and now is not the time for meme coins via sol blockchain.

84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana memecoin is trending on twitter.. on: March 20, 2024, 12:57:49 PM
Recently, there's been excitement in the Solana ecosystem, mainly due to the impressive rise of memecoins. We've seen the likes of BOME, SNAP, and today, SLERF is performing well. There have been promising announcements regarding cex adoption, with platforms like Bitget, MEXC, and OKX all joining in. SLERF has already achieved a market capitalization of 400 million in just a few hours. The hype is crazy. Are you holding any?

Yes, I noticed that too. Recently, in less than 1 week, how many meme coins have been made in the market today? And it cannot be denied that many people got carried away by the hype, and it became effective in the market.

I didn't know that right away, but the one in SNAP looks like I may still have a fight. I hope I can buy enough before it rallies again so that I can experience a good profit. And this bull run seems to be the era of meme coins right now, in my opinion.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a quick rich and get poorer investment. on: March 19, 2024, 08:31:04 AM
It is very wrong for someone to think or have a mindset that bitcoin can make one to become rich. Bitcoin don't make people to be rich because it doesn't give free money just like that. You can only earn from Bitcoin as investment just like 2very other investment.  I don't know why people always see bitcoin as what can give them lots of money that can make one to be rich just by investing.  You can only get rich by having something that generate steady flow of income.
The get-rich-quick mindset by investing in bitcoin is actually not completely wrong if you compare bitcoin with investing in gold. You can calculate the ROI of bitcoin in the last year with the ROI of gold, but of course bitcoin will not provide wealth overnight.

Imagine how much profit you will get from a $50k gold investment in early January 2023 compared to a $50k bitcoin investment, clearly bitcoin is more superior and has provided a lot of returns in just a year compared to gold. The time frame used is not overnight, a few days or a week, but of course longer, such as several months to years.

There are still many people who do not understand or know about Bitcoin, but for businessmen who understand Bitcoin, there is no doubt that they will really invest in it and hold it for a few years, depending on how much Bitcoin they will sell it for.

Maybe when they meet their main profit target, they will sell, but there are also some who, even though they have seen many people buy it, it is still not proof for them to believe. Well, it's their choice, not our loss, that's all.

88  Other / Archival / Re: Are investors investing in Bitcoin at ATH now are fools ? on: March 15, 2024, 02:36:38 PM
Are investors investing in Bitcoin at ATH now are fools ?  Is there chance of major correction from here as prices have already peaked now.

Why would they be fools to buy Bitcoin despite this ATH? Then the question is, how did you say that Bitcoin is ATH when we have just entered a bull run and its halving has not even been completed in the coming few months?

And most people expect that the bull run will happen after the halving, so it means that we are not yet at bitcoin's ATH or that bitcoin's ATH period has not yet ended in these instances.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is $PENG The Coolest New Memecoin on Solana? on: March 13, 2024, 10:51:18 AM
If you thought Solana was all about serious projects, think again. $PENG seems to bring the fun. Think of it as a super cute penguin with a dash of Pepe the Frog energy – a little quirky, a lot of meme potential.  This isn't just about those quick profits (though those are nice too).

$PENG seems to be about building community and injecting some fresh energy into the Solana blockchain. It's a chance to let loose, have a laugh, and maybe even catch that next big memecoin wave while it's still early.

For anyone who is new to memecoins or the Solana space, then $PENG is a great place to start. It's easy to get involved, the vibe is still warming up and who knows, you might just end up with a bag full of $PENG and some hilarious stories to tell.
So, do you think about joining this cool penguin party on Solana?

Well, that's your choice. For me, I don't like the meme coin you're talking about. I prefer the meme coins that have a low price, but at least the volume in the market is good.
But that's the expensive price, and then the volume doesn't seem to fit the price.

I would prefer Floki, Shib, Pepe, Caw, and Bonk to what you mentioned, but I respect your choice because you believe that you can get a good profit there.
90  Economy / Gambling / Re: Need help. I GOT PHISHED FOR 9K ON STAKE.COM on: March 13, 2024, 10:41:34 AM
Just the other day, I read that you made a topic saying that the stakes are scammers for you because of what happened to you. while you made a topic here on this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php? topic=5488639.0, and now that your account was phished, I think the stakes have nothing to do with that.

Instead, the fault lies with you because you clicked on a link that was given or sent to you without knowing that the risk was already there in those instances.
That's why he fell into the hacker's trap.
91  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you are not to gamble. on: March 11, 2024, 05:11:49 PM
👉👉when you are in need of money urgently

This is the time that you should really be stopping yourself on trying out to play on gambling on the time that you are really that needing up some money.
Making gambling as your main source of income or money making? You are really just that taking up a suicide decision on which this is something
that we must avoid as much as we could.

Gamble for fun and if you are on such conditions like being stressed, or hurry in needing money then this is the best time to skip out.
You are playing in desperate conditions and not for leisure and with this then this is actually the moments on where you are really that
too emotional which would really be resulting on such being impulsive.

Gambling should be for fun; it is not right to consider gambling a job. Instead of getting a fixed income from gambling that they expect to happen, they will spend even
more because gamblers are usually losers.

That's why we must be responsible for every decision we make. It's really a big mistake to think of or consider gambling as a job, because even an employee's job is not a game.
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risking 1% in Gambling on: March 11, 2024, 04:51:23 PM
Yes I have heard of 1% of weekly income before but I still go for 5% which is not what I can not afford to just lose. But it would be good if someone can go lower like 1%.

There are some weekend that I would win more and leave the rest for the following week or use it for something fun like beer. But there are sometimes that I will lose too. There are many times I just did not go more than 2% weekly because I am busy and unable to gamble more.

Going for just 1% is good. The lesser you go, the better you will be able to afford the loss.

Yeah, 5%, I think, is fine with me because, for example, if the salary of an ordinary person is around $300, then only 1% will come out. Here in our country, the salary of ordinary people in a company only ranges from around 300 to 400 dollars per month.

But in my situation, I only have a limit amount when I gamble in a casino, and it's only around 30 dollars per game. This amount is what I'm willing to lose the day I play gambling, and if I win, it's good luck.
93  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading good for beginners? on: March 07, 2024, 08:11:18 AM
If the newbie trader is really a beginner, there is no problem as long as he learns the basic rules of trading first. Just don't immediately jump into large-scale investments in trading. Just start with small capital and, at the same time, learn while doing actual trading on an exchange.

It is said that practice makes perfect; that's the only way to do it, and don't immediately give up on learning crypto trading; just don't quit, and continuous learning is the only thing to do.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What causes altcoin season? on: March 07, 2024, 08:02:37 AM
It is a general believe in the cryptocurrency community that Bitcoin bull season is usually followed by altcoins season. I don't know the logic behind it hence the reason for this post. The present bull run seems to be dominated by Bitcoin and its already taking too long without corresponding rise in price among the notable altcoins.

So, should we also expect altcoin season following the current bull run? If yes, what are the best altcoins to focus on?

Well, usually, altcoins season occurs when Bitcoin is already having a rally. Because I see and I have witnessed that when the bull run is when the price value of Bitcoin rises, most of the top altcoins are also pulled up in the market.

And maybe this past week we also witnessed many altcoins whose price value rose in the market, right? even the meme coins also went along to be honest.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any meme coin has the ability to challenge bitcoin dominance ? on: March 06, 2024, 10:04:51 AM
In last one week, coins like pepe rose by 400% or more. There were other meme coins like dogecoin and shiba inu also growing fast. Lot of bitcoin users would now feel tempted to move their funds to these meme coins for higher profit. At such, do you think that any meme coin has the capacity to challenge bitcoin dominance ?

If I'm not mistaken, the price value of Pepe coin increased by 800% in the market, in just 1 week Pepe coin did this. So it means that if it continues, it is possible that it will surpass the price value that SHIB currently has. And I won't be surprised by that.

Also, this is another Pepe coin, it's the first time it can keep up with the upcoming bull season and halving. And I don't deny that I have holdings in this Pepe and I also have a price target to sell the pepe coin I hold and once I reach my price target I will sell it immediately because I can buy a dream house that I want and small business.
96  Economy / Gambling / Re: Share trusted VPN Friendly crypto casinos on: March 06, 2024, 09:55:19 AM
Hey everyone,

I'm thinking about starting a website that talks about crypto casinos, and I need your help to pick the best ones. I want to focus on casinos that are safe and reliable, so my site doesn't end up recommending bad ones. I plan to write honest reviews and also share what other people say online, kind of like how old blogs used to do where it mattered what people thought about a site instead of taking dirty money from scam projects.

Can you suggest some crypto casinos that are okay with using VPNs?

It's a plus if they're cool with KYC stuff or even better if they are NO KYC.

Also, if you've ever taken money out from these places, please tell me how long it took. It's annoying when sites say INSTANT WITHDRAWAL, but then the casino's support says it might take up to 12 hours.

Why are you asking about VPN? Is gambling banned in your country? Because most gambling casinos, when they know you are using a VPN, are sure that you have committed violations of their rules that are in accordance with their TOS.

But no matter what you want to do, you are free to do what you want. If you think the way you think is good and right, go for it; that's just the way it is, right?
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling mistake repeated by the gamblers on: March 05, 2024, 01:42:10 PM
Some of the mistake was repeated by the gamblers even after the loss in the gambling. The foremost one is the greedy, the gamblers mostly the new gambler get into the greedy after some decent profit in the gambling site.

Over Confidence:
This was the common one to the new and experienced gamblers, because the continuous winning mostly give the greedy and over confidence to the gamblers. The gamblers will go for the high betting after the continuous winning in the betting. The positive wipe was occurred with the over confidence, most of the gamblers go for the high betting after the over confidence.

The draw back of the over confidence is most of the gamblers will make loss their holding dollars in few bets.So the gamblers should avoid the over confidence after the continuous winning.

Greedy:
The gambler should avoid of the greediness in the gambling after the continuous gambling winning. The gambler should try to withdraw the funds from the gambling site after the good winning in the gambling site. Many loss the capital by doing high betting and random betting with the positive wipe with more winning. The most of the successful gamblers may skip greedy in their betting.

Share your opinion about this two mistakes with your experience.

I think that even if we know such things, we can't really avoid them, because there may be times that we don't realize that we can do it, and we can still do it at other times. And in order for us to monitor such manners, we should be sensitive when it comes to gambling in any casino.

Because greed, even if we avoid it many times, will still come a time when we will be taken there, especially with overconfidence. When,  for example, we have in mind that what we are doing is too small, the word greed will enter us without us realizing it. Actually.
98  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: March 05, 2024, 01:30:00 PM
No, they always mention in on their ToS that they might ask KYC anytime, now if the site doesn't mention any KYC then asked it's users, they deserve negative reputation by any means.
As far as I can remember Bitsler has not mentioned KYC and they also usually do not ask for KYC. But once Upon a time I earned multiple times on sportsbook and they asked me to provide KYC. In this case, will it be a wise decision to tag negatively?
Well, I think by now, most of us should have realized that, kyc has become a normal thing with most centralized online gambling casinos, many casinos may not have to mention kyc directly in their terms of service, but when ever they request kyc verification from a user who seems or argues that they(the casino) did not mention kyc in their term of service, you did be shocked when they will point you to the part of their terms of service that either directly or In-directly talks about kyc.

And also, let's not forget that some casinos do sometimes include rules permitting them to add or subtract rules from their terms of service at will, so, if a matter like yours was to be taken to court to be judged, and the casino have such lines as I mentioned above in their terms of services, that alone could In-directly cover for kyc.

Yes, you are right there. All gamblers who enter crypto gambling online should be aware when it comes to KYC submission, because that's really normal, to be honest. It doesn't make any difference that you apply as an applicant; that's all.

Today's times are different because not all times are the same, so most people accept that kind of thing as long as we choose the casinos we know are legitimate, and we also learn to choose the right casino that is not just for gamblers to prey upon.
99  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Umaarangkada na ang Coins.ph on: March 05, 2024, 01:20:55 PM
Di ko alam bakit ganyan ginagawa nila instead of prioritizing their customer's complaint about their services.

Dapat tanggalin na nila yung "Level" sa account since useless rin naman. Imagine, kapag maglalabas ka ng medyo malaking pera like 20K or more eh paghihinalaan ka na kaagad, either they will freeze your account or ask too many questions which is very frustrating. Also di ko magets yung need mo pa magprovide ng info ng "sender" which mostly is you sending bitcoin or any tokens from an external wallet.

Checking ako now gcash at maya features ng crypto eh.
