83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Do You Cashout BitCoins? on: April 25, 2018, 02:38:30 AM
There are many ways to cash out our bitcoin you can use a bitcoin wallet that has a converter in your own currency. In my country we have a bitcoin wallet that is easy to use and easy to cashout and supported by many banks and remittances and can also be used for bills, tuition fees.
84  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is making btc price going down? on: April 21, 2018, 12:20:54 PM
One of the reasons for the decline in bitcoin prices in the market is the lack of demand and because of some critics against crypto currency such bitcoin currency. But also says a few here in the forum, one of the reasons for bitcoin's price drop is that whales make a way to lower the bitcoin price so they can buy at low cost and fill their pockets they will create a way to increase the bitcoin price so they can sell their funds at a higher cost. It is not posible right?
85  Bitcoin / Press / [2018-04-09] Swiss Regulations Are Driving ICOs Away on: April 09, 2018, 08:02:46 AM
Swiss Regulations Are Driving ICOs Away

Ever since ICO mania exploded in early 2017, Switzerland has served as Europe’s de facto crowdsale launchpad. Financial authorities have welcomed crypto startups, and the likes of Tezos, Mysterium, and Arcblock have all heeded that call. Guidelines laid out by Switzerland’s Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) in February were meant to add clarity for ICOs. Instead, they’ve had the opposite effect.

Anti-money laundering regulation gives rise to a range of due diligence requirements including the requirement to establish the identity of the beneficial owner and the obligation either to affiliate to a self-regulatory organisation (SRO) or to be subject directly to FINMA supervision. These requirements can be fulfilled by having the funds accepted via a financial intermediary who is already subject to the AMLA in Switzerland and who exercises on behalf of the organiser the corresponding due diligence requirements.
In plain English, this means that ICOs must use a Swiss company to perform KYC on all ICO participants, which is where the problems have started. With only a handful of companies in a position to perform such checks, these entities effectively hold a monopoly. The average cost for a KYC check ranges from between $0.6 to $2 within the ICO space – but Switzerland is an exception. Accredited bodies are charging up to $25 per check, leaving projects that have already made the decision to host their crowdsale in Switzerland in an awkward position.

Two Australian State Politicians Reveal Bitcoin Holdings

Two sitting ministers from the legislature of the Australian state of Queensland have revealed that they privately own bitcoin. The declarations have been made for the state’s register of members’ interests – which lists information including the properties, trusts, and union memberships of Queensland’s politicians.

Queensland Registry Reveals Aussie Politicians Own Bitcoin
Two Australian State Politicians Reveal Bitcoin HoldingsThe updating of the register of Queensland’s politicians’ interests has revealed that two of the state’s representatives currently own bitcoin. The register discloses the formal political affiliations of the state’s politicians, in addition to revealing major assets and investments owned by Queensland’s representatives.

Nick Dametto, a recently elected MP for Katter’s Australian Party – a right-leaning minority party that seeks to serve Queensland’s vast rural population – has discussed his bitcoin holdings with Fairfax Media.

Mr. Dametto first purchased bitcoin in October 2017, which quickly grew in value. “I then used my bitcoin to buy a couple of different other coins that are worth a lot less, and then they went up a little bit, and at one point my $5,000 investment went up to $60,000, then it crashed after Christmas,” Mr. Dametto said.

Bots Blamed for Binance Bug That Leaves Traders Reeling

Binance has found itself at the center of an unusual trading bug that has created big winners and losers. In a matter of minutes, viacoin pumped by 70x. Just to compound the drama, bitcoin experienced a massive sell-off shortly afterwards following bearish news from the SEC. Binance suspended withdrawals while it investigated the matter, but these have since been reactivated. Wednesday March 7 will go down as a memorable day in the exchange’s short history, but one with a happy ending.

Viacoin Goes on a Moon Mission
Pump and dump schemes are not unusual on cryptocurrency exchanges, but this wasn’t a usual pump. This was a mega pump which sent viacoin from $3 to $200 in record time. Binance wasn’t hacked. Rather, a compromised API is the culprit behind what was an extremely clever attack. First, the bot sold all the altcoins in accessible accounts at market prices, causing a sea of red. Then, it took the BTC profits and put them into viacoin. It may have occurred illegally, but if ever there were a case of a moon mission, this was it, as one Twitter user memorably depicted, the green candle standing proud in the center:

91  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you check Bitcoin price everyday? on: March 07, 2018, 09:08:20 AM
Hi guys,
Just curious.
I bought a little bit a few months ago, for the first time, for the sole reason that I want to invest in Bitcoins, and get a profit after 5 years, maybe 10 years.
So I would not need to check the price everyday, as it is of no use for me. But I do, can't help it!

I am not the only one I guess.
Yes I am, i always check the market chart at my blockchain wallet because i want to know the movement of bitcoin currency.  because I always waiting for the next pump of the bitcoin price.
92  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do if the prices down again? on: March 07, 2018, 07:25:45 AM
There are some rumours that the prices would get down again for one or two times before they reincrease to the level around before the latest year end and even higher. Can anyone here enlighten me and newbies like me, which is better to do if that really happens:
1) hold our assets and wait until the market got fully recover to start trading.
2) increase our capital to reduce the average price.
3) sell our assets with the assumptions to got deficit prives, and then rebuy again at this price.
4) others.

Any suggestion?
I think the number (1) is the best to do when the bitcoin cuurency fall down again, many traders doing such strategy when the price of bitcoin goes down they hold their bitcoin and waiting and control the emotions until the price of bitcoin fully recovery.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some of my friends still think Bitcoin is scam and Ponzi on: March 07, 2018, 03:00:58 AM
Dear all,

I just heard some of my friends chatting in a gathering and they think Bitcoin is scam and Ponzi. I just give them a smile and wish they will educate themselves a bit.

So, I would like you to give me some suggestions, how I can give them some hints with soft words which can change their mind or at least give them some more space to think twice?
Bitcoin is not a scam or ponzi but a website like cloud mining and the bad people are one of the scammers. You can tell everything you know and you can show your earnings and funds on your bitcoin wallet give them an example how to cash-out your bitcoin from your btc wallet, so they believe that bitcoin is not a scam in that way  I'm sure they will become interested in bitcoin currency after you show how you make money. but if they do not really want to believe on it, there's nothing you can do about it. you just have to think that you're getting money while they're still thinking that the bitcoin currency is scams or ponzi.
94  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at USD20,000 on: March 06, 2018, 07:27:46 AM
It's positive, bitcoin can reach 20,000 USD or even higher in this year base on my analysis every year the price of bitcoin currency always pump a massive amount before year end there is a new record for the price of bitcoin. But if the FUD's and whales are acted to re-manipulate the price of bitcoin for self-interest. we can do nothing about that.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what kind of aspect does bitcoin helps you? on: March 06, 2018, 03:43:49 AM
Bitcoin helps me in my schools since there are many equipments i need to buy for my studies. It also helps my financial problems and misc to fulfill my interests in life. It is great opportunity for me to have this so it really helps.

How does bitcoin help you?
When I know nothing about the bitcoin currency, my sallary on my regular job is not enough only $ 120 per month, not enough to support my study. But when I was looking for some income in internet I saw the Bitcoin currency I started reading about it and how I earn it. And since then I've been earning a bitcoin until now and double or triple profits every month.
96  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2017 was maybe the last era of bitcoin? on: March 06, 2018, 02:30:04 AM
I think 2017 is not last era of bitcoin, in reality no one can predict the bitcoin price or no one knows what and when the next movement of bitcoin price. Just be positive thinker, if last year the price of bitcoin reach the amount of $20,000 (its a new record) no doubt that this year it might be the price of bitcoin can be higher than $20,000.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin used by criminals ? on: March 05, 2018, 09:30:16 AM
Criminals use bitcoin to buy a assault guns or drugs, etc,  because the transaction is hard to find where its came from if the bitcoin will be used in the large transaction it is very hard to trace. We know that, not only bitcoin currency used by criminals to their transactions, as well as real money in our country is also used by criminals. And I think can not do anything to stop the transaction of all criminals because they are extremely vulnerable and its very risky even the governments are also struggling to counter the criminality.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am so stressful with trading coins, I lost 13000$ on: March 05, 2018, 07:26:04 AM
I'm so stupid when attending crypto currency, who can help me to get money back? I also ask many traders who has experiences in this one, but I still lost money
I always say to those begginers who want to become a trader if you enter the world of trading you will invest but the risks is always there and it will not be easy because you should have enough trading knowledge and make sure that you have a patience and you can control your emotion as a trader.
99  Economy / Speculation / Re: People more likely to buy if price goes up or if price goes down on: March 05, 2018, 02:17:39 AM
I don't understand why people would buy at this price which is quite high for the last month or so.  Would people not pile in and buy if the price went down to 6k.  Then a huge amount of people would be buying.  Who is buying at this price?  Or could it be faked.
The price of bitcoin has never been faked and everyone has their own method to earn bitcoin currency so you can not do anything if they buy at the current price of bitcoin maybe they have a good strategy to grow bitcoin they bought. if you notice the current price of bitcoin is $11,000 for the person who have been long in bitcoin world they can say that it is cheap price because the previous bitcoin price is $ $20,000.
100  Economy / Speculation / Re: how do you think about bitcoin prices from last year compared to this year? on: March 04, 2018, 04:00:50 AM
I think bitcoin prices have decreased compared to last year.
If we compare the movement of the price last year and the current price I think there is no deference about its current price this year because every year in month of  january the price of bitcoin always getting dip as you notice that.
No one can predict the price of bitcoin so maybe this year the price of bitcoin currency become much higher than last year.
