Hi guys lately i have been seeing that a few of the ico's have listed mailing addresses that never seem to receive any mails. i have made it a point ot mark these icos as frauds and dont even bother with them . What is your opinion about these icos which dont even bother to mail you back even if you have genuine inquiry .
This is a common way of ICO the gain more participant. Email spamming with their offers just one of their ways. I'm sure there are still many other ways. Recently, I've experienced some case wich several ICO project added me on their telegram group. That's a new way which better than email spamming.

I consider KYC positively a good protection for investors and I am not boycotting. Anonimity is always the game of crypto and there are people who are taking advantage of it. KYC protects crypto from being used for money laundering and illegal deeds.
LOL, how come you can trust strange people to protect investors personal data? Even big company like Facebook can leak your data. The crypto world is very so wild, so do not believe in any stranger people easily. I do not think it should be boycotted. A few months ahead I think everyone will be more aware of the importance of personal data. The more people fear of spreading personal data, the ICOs that use KYC will not have big participants.

More and more airdrop is a lie, I do not recommend participation in airdrop, because there are at most a few 100 airdrop quality, so I think it should not be a waste of time.
Airdrop is not profitable anymore. Some project gives an Airdrop for one reason. So that the project looks a lot of enthusiasts. Because usually every Airdrop participant is required to follow all the social media they have.

Hi guys, As my last post has generated quite some intrest concerning bounty earnings, I would love to share a hidden gem in the bounty world. I guess lots of you are still hunting the classical way, with weekly reports and long spreadsheets. As you all know, this isn't an efficient way of working. Last month, I came across the Bountyhive platform and I honestly think this will be a gamechanger. At the moment, a general Facebook campaign only has +- 2500 participants, and you do not have to post weekly reports. You just have to share 2 posts/week, and the Bountyhive employees will keep track of these shares. But these social media campaigns probably won't get you rich. I'm focusing on the translation campaigns, as they're promising +- 3ETH/translation. Unfortunately, participation in these campaigns is quite a lottery for the popular languages. Thank me later! Jan Beside Bountyhive, I can say there is a competitor platform like that, it called bountyplatform.io I think it's better than Bountyhive because we can check the stakes realtime. If you want to increase your earning, I suggest you not to focus only on one campaign. Try another campaign like a signature, Reddit and content creation.

All right. I think you should add more facts. You only copy paste the information from that Medium article. I am not taking a side. I just want to neutral here. I will appreciate if you can add a more real fact about that issue.

Will ICO Rock only mine Bitcoin? What about other alternative coins? Why do they need ICO to raise funds? I think they can pay for themselves from the profit of their mining activities.

I agree that patience is the key. But personally, I have a target on when the right time to end my patience. Sometimes, when I receive may sell target, I ended my patience and sell my assets to get my profits.
|
|
|
Besides this forum, I think telegram channel is a good alternative to promote an ICO project. But its also depends on the audience. If the audience contains some legitimate investors, then the campaign probably would success.

Buy low selling high, it is a general rule of investment in this crypto space. So your question depends on your target. What price do you buy? if the price has exceeded your entry price, then that's when you can sell it. Normally, I wait for 5-15% increase of my entry price.

With the recent hack, I assume a lot of people will switch to something else, what do you think?
I still recommend using a hardware wallet over the safety benefits though.
No, recently I using Metamask, Mycrypto, and Forkdelta to transfer tokens and ETH. So far, those tools are good enough for me. No problem so far and very secure. Another alternate wallet for ERC20, you can try BLUE wallet: https://mywallet.blue/

This market is new. Is there a way to identify a potential ICO for me to invest in it? Many times I see ICO scam I only smile at the time wasted without profit. It's hard
Well, I can say ICO is not suitable for you. My suggestion you can try to buy it after ICO. In fact, as far as I see, the price of many ICO these days will down around 50% after the token sale end. That's the right time for you to buy it.

|
This is what I fear so much. To be honest, KYC is very troublesome as a bounty participant. I think bounty participant should not to follow the KYC process. As a team project, they should find another solution to against bounty abuses or scammer without using KYC process.

Hi all,
I really would like your opinion about airdrops. A lot of tokens are giving away tokens via airdrops. What is the benefit and what will happen to the price of the token after the airdrop is paid?
CryptoIsTFuture
It depends on the project itself. Not every airdrop project is a scam. As far as I know, a project who using airdrop for a campaign is not doing an ICO event. I can give you an example of these project which is still exist until now: 1) BLUE Protocol (Ethereum Blue) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2279214.02) Proxycard https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2206814.03) Rebellious https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2370176.0The price of the token after the airdrop distribution might be down, but if the project has a good value, the price will gradually increase.

Well, you have a good list. If I may add, these are my lists, 1) https://duxton.ru/crowdsale/ - looks like from Russian site, but it has a good list of bounty and airdrop 2) https://bountylord.com/ this site also has a good list, you can filter the project by the campaign category.
|
|
|
No, this is not fair. Team members or bounty managers should announce it at the beginning of a campaign, not in the end. If you found a case like that, its probably the ICO project want to reduce the bounty rewards. It's their tricks, so no one would claim the rewards due to personal privacy.
|
|
|
Long time no see. How is the continuation of this project? Is it still in Etherdelta? I still can't find this project at Coinmarketcap

Twitter
We are happy to announce that BLUE will be landing on the largest exchange for BLUE to date in the coming weeks.
Exciting times for BLUE ahead
Expect binance or kucoin because based on many surveys then both exchanges are the best. This is what I think, I think UNI does not like KUCOIN exchange. I remember that he always hated the exchange. Binasi is not possible, because the cost is very expensive. I can guess the next exchange is Cobinhood. As I remember, the Union mentions a lot of cobinhood in the chat.

Now we have to register immediately on several exchanges, open a huge number of tabs in the browser, and it's not entirely convenient. The creators of the Arbidex platform want to do everything possible for our convenience
I saw in the official Arbidex telegram channel that the team was working with Huobi exchanges. There is also a rumor that ABX token will get listed in major exchanges Binance.

|
|
I'm not sure if it is only kind of wallet maintenance or Arbidex token is removed from Bancor exchange? I don't see ABX listed there.. Is it just temporary or we can't trade there anymore?
Hmm, this is so true, I tried searching for ABX tokens in Bancor using the search function but not found. Fortunately for me, I've been selling ABX tokens since the first day at Bancor. Honestly, I want to buy again, but apparently ABX tokens have not been listed on coinmarketcap.com
