Sorry guys, no headway.  I am running Debian with Python 2.6.6

For pywallet error is: root@debian:/home/bob# ./pywallet.py --web
./pywallet.py: line 1: syntax error near unexpected token `newline'
./pywallet.py: line 1: `<!DOCTYPE html>'
I cut/pasted the install line from the docs so I have all of the packages.

etotheipi
I started python and entered the command given, and the error within python is "no module named armoryengine"

Thanks I purchased Hex Editor Neo and it seems to work great.  I have found a number of files with the correct header 'baWALLET' but not the wallet I was looking for.  I will try the wallet you recommended and let you know my results.

Havelock just announced they were bought by a 'licensed' Panamanian company.  Hmmm, who do we know that was just doing Bitcoin business in Panama?  I wonder. Roll Eyes
85  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 09, 2013, 02:05:54 PM
Hey guys,

Sorry, been very busy with many many things going on.
At the same time I have been fighting problems with bitcoind and rpc timeouts.
Weex already had a huge backlog of tickets, and this has not helped at all, we are trying to work through all requests as soon as possible.
If you have an issue with your account please open a ticket and it will be worked on as soon as it can be got to.
Many users have already had their issues fixed.

-Ukyo
Apologies it has been 14 Days since my support ticket.  My original withdrawal was for .186, that got stuck, was reversed, I added my last 4.5 out of Bitfunder, and now it is stuck again.  Probably for another 14 days.

You bring up a good point.  I will have to look at Amagi Metals and see what an ounce of gold is selling for.

Shocked 1 ounce Gold bar for 4.48 BTC  Oh, I might be ordering some more for the pile!
PS> Amagi uses Bitstamp pricing for their sales, I asked the owner.

Good chatting, time for the pub!

Howling mad hopefully we get our coinlender + DMS dividends = Awesome christmas presents!
I think given the crazy business/ exchanges closures this week. A safety deposit box is looking like a mighty fine idea  Smiley
Probably, but still cash under the mattress works.   Grin
I have made some serious profits since June and I think it's time to convert some to cash and add it to the 15% I normally keep in cash.

I used it on one of the exchanges and setup 'buys' as 220, and 250 USD, so when the panic sets in I can make cash on the rebound.  Just like when they arrested the drug selling moron!  Glad to be rid of him.

+1 I would love to cash in some dividends/coin it's over 321 in Australia
Definitely ridiculous prices.  I give it 3 weeks before the Chinese come to their senses!
89  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Deprived Mining Speculation (DMS) on: November 07, 2013, 10:09:01 PM
Hold off on dividends for a while....
I hope not, I am in the four digit range for shares and frankly would like to convert some coin to fiat while the prices are ridiculously high!  Just nugging $300 USD!  I don't think it is going to hold that high for long.
90  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Deprived Mining Speculation (DMS) on: November 06, 2013, 10:03:20 PM
Will the DMS.SELLING dividend from yesterdays difficulty-adjustment be distributed today? Or is there some other dividend schedule being used now that BTCT is unavailable?
All dividends are being handled here on (sort of) the normal schedule.  You should have received a MINING dividend for last week that for the week and up until Nov. 3rd.

Deprived paid the dividend in advance and has been great about it all.  I would imagine the problem would be trying to decide what all the numbers are but I am not worried about it.  It may not arrive as scheduled but dividends will arrive!  Deprived has been great about it.
91  Economy / Service Discussion / Weexchange, just another MtGox on: November 06, 2013, 07:42:39 PM
Hello all,
It is interesting that Weexchange cannot transmit funds to me for over 12 days now.  The withdrawal is still stuck 'processing'.  I will admit that it was stuck for four days and then support reverted the transaction as requested.

So now another additional 8 days waiting.  I guess closing Bitfunder crushed their wallet and they don't want to pay for record prices bitcoins?

Obviously with the 'record setting' prices I would like to sell some coin.  I am sure I will get my coin as soon as the price drops below $200 USD. Roll Eyes

I wonder if I can sue them for lost income? Huh
92  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: RAM-Reduction & Backup Center Testing (version 0.89.99.8) on: November 04, 2013, 07:19:09 PM
I dowloaded the Linux client and the version states 0.88.1-beta.  Is that right?

That's the current stable version. If you want to use the test version, check the first post in this thread for instructions.
Huh, I followed the instructions with "checkout testing" etc...  If I do "git checkout testing" I get the response "you are already using testing".

I'll uninstall and try it again.
93  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Weexchange broken, can't withdraw btc on: November 04, 2013, 12:25:57 AM
Your not the only one I have BTC stuck also.  The first time it took four days to get this transaction cancelled, and now it is stuck again for 5 days.
I guess UKYO is getting screwed for kicking out all of the US users.  Lack of funds maybe?

Also, I guess some of the packages/dependencies required (first line of code) might differ in Debian, but I think Debian & Ubuntu are pretty similar in that way.
Thanks all of the instructions were exactly the same.  Armory is running now and I learned a couple new things.  Have a great day!
96  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: RAM-Reduction & Backup Center Testing (version 0.89.99.8) on: November 03, 2013, 12:13:21 PM
Linux n00b and dangerous so .....

I am trying to compile from source on  Debian.  When I do "git clone testing" Debian craps out
 bob@debian:~/BitcoinArmory$ git clone testing
Cloning into testing...
warning: You appear to have cloned an empty repository.

I had already ran the original git command as noted in "Building Armory from source"
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info.  Oh well, one out of three isn't bad!  Grin

NAV Post MINING Div    598.54783936
NAV/U Post MINING Div    0.00367086
Days Dividend Post Div   570.70
SELLING Dividend    0.00109798
NAV Post SELLING Div    419.51844802
NAV/U Post Selling Div    0.00257288
Trying to calculate what my DMS is worth in BTC.  I am guessing that the calculation is:
(Shares MINING + Shares Purchase) * NAV/U Post MINING Div
(Shares SELLING + Shares Purchase) * NAV/U Post SELLING Div.

Is that correct?
99  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: October 31, 2013, 11:40:22 PM

How to Convert Your AM100 (or TAT.ASICMINER) Shares to Direct Shares with Friedcat
 1. Using the Transfer feature, push the AM100 (or TAT.ASICMINER) shares to the issuer account. They must be a 105:1 ratio, this means the minimum is 105 AM100 or TAT.ASICMINER shares.
Would this trade-in also apply to users on Havelock?  If so, I did not see a 'transfer' function.
Thanks in advance.

The next difficulty change is estimated to be Nov. 6th,next Wednesday.  Has there been any progress on a new stock exchange?  If not, how are the payouts going to occur?
