You were able to start the client and it was syncing, and then when you closed the client it didn't work again?

Yup, was taking ages to synch, had to shut down.

I still have the issue with the client here...

Uninstalled it and reinstalled it.

Client started and synching. Closed the client. Tried to start it again and it doesn't work...

The splash screen and bytecent process (in the task manager) shows briefly (less than 1s) and disappear.

Windows 7 64 here.

Can you take a look @ it please?

This is a request for feedback.

I was thinking of an elevator pitch that best describes Byteball and came up with two versions of the pitch:

#1 Imagine a global database that records who owns what, as well as all transfers of ownership.  The database is not controlled by any single entity, it is a common good.  Everyone can have a copy of the database and all the copies necessarily agree.  This is Byteball.

#2 Byteball is an environment that allows anyone to store value and transfer it to other users.  The environment is not controlled by any single entity, it is a common good that is open to everyone like the Internet; and the value can be anything from completely untraceable currency to bank deposits with regulatory constraints.

Which version better resonates with you?  Feel free to suggest a 3rd.

I would vote for number 2

Is it actually advisable to start mining bytecent at the time? Or in general?

I tried it out for a few hours yesterday but the client does not seem to work properly. Whenever it is closed, it can't be opened again. The starting screen pops up shortly, then it is dead and nothing happens. Anybody else with this problem?

same issue here

I have same bug too. Any fixes?

Had this bug months ago, but there was no update so I stopped mining BYC completly...

10^15 Byteballs to be created from the start...
Well, your coin will be a pain in the ass to trade if they are paired with btc, instant 1 satoshi value.
And even with 1 satoshie value = instant 10 000 000$ market cap right from the start.
You sir definitly have balls... but not so unrealistic...

Anyway the only thing that really bothers me is the percentage you want for yourself.

You sir really deserve a certain amount of  the coins but rapid math and we get this :

1% of 1 000 000 000 000 000 = 10 000 000 000 000.

This number might afraid any real investor insterested in your project...
If the project get success you could anytime dump all your stash and move away, how do you plan to adress this concern?

Plus you definitly want to postpone the aidrop, early november is way to soon.

Merci! Ca tue!

Edit: Arf nan en fait pas top :

Can you give us an idea about the size of the transactions fee we should use to get our transactions processed correctly?

Because I sent 2 transactions and they took 2 hours to get processed...

can you tell me your transaction id?
then we will check it .
and we do not use paytxfee, but txconfirmtarget .
txconfirmtarget was set 1.
thank you.

I ment what should I do to get miners processing my transactions faster....

Still not working but found a workaround using mBYC instead of BYC

Seems you can't move an amount of BYC with decimal in it (I want to move 132.52 but the byc won't allow me anything but the whole number 132) is it normal? Can you enable decimals in the next release please?

Restart the wallet and try again.

Tried it but same issue...
