81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose the right ICO? on: December 04, 2017, 06:42:52 PM
Crypto market is emerging and by making the right choice, we can make real good $$$'s. What the key for a ICO to be successful?

Add additional options if I miss in the voting options

Let's be honest, team and marketing hype are the most crucial factor of an ICO success. Most people nowadays don't really about the token use case, roadmap, etc. By team, I don't really mean a competent people in the industry. As long as their profiles are legit and have a reasonable relevant background, it's OK. What's more important is the team need to have a dedicated people to actively promotes and answering question in forum. A regular update and actively answering question could earn potential investors trust. You also need to have a lot of money for marketing. Placing ads in Google and Bitcointalk are the most effective I think. Adding a bounty marketing campaign would also help, but I don't think it would be significant and reliable.

Thank you for your valuable inputs. You are correct, hype is driving factor these days...
82  Economy / Speculation / BTC next stop? on: November 29, 2017, 08:40:01 PM
BTC hit another all-time high last night ($11000), and now everyone is tossing out the nice next target of $15000 quickly as newbies are rushing to crypto's due to Fear of missed out factor.

What you guys think BTC will hit next mark in the next few months or even a year from now.

Its so hard to pick the right ico where to invest in ,but i always look thier roadmap first then business utility.
If the ico has these two i will participate or invest to it.

Why you dont considering looking at the team first?

By choosing the right ICO, the best thing you could do is look or check the team if it is active and know their background too, then look and search it well, then it must have an update for time to time in the ico fund collected.
Team is the USP(unique selling point) for any ICO to b successful. Everyone agrees to that.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Mining vs Buying on: November 19, 2017, 02:57:09 AM
I prefer to just buy bitcoin. Mining bitcoin is not a lucrative way of having bitcoin nowadays because of its high difficulty. Back then, when bitcoin is just fairly new, it was a great way of acquiring it and just hold it to have a good profit. Not to mention the cost to build mining rigs specially the graphic card which is very costly, and the high electricity cost it consumes just to mine. If you are going to just buy bitcoin, you can avoid this upfront cost. You just need to register in exchange sites and you are ready to go. It depends on you if you are going to hold or trade it to gain more bitcoin.

I completely agree with you on BTC mining part of your comment. Exploring altcoin mining is still a good option.

There is the VC rule: administration, technology and sales -> it is all focused on the team.

Agreed, Team is the key for any ICO to be successful.

Which Altcoin has potential to overtake BTC as primary cryptocurrency?

I think Ethereum can dominate, but I doubt there are many other contenders that would overtake BTC. Any thought?
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to get involved into Bitcoin? on: November 14, 2017, 03:40:26 AM
Hey everyone
I was mining just for fun when in 2013/14 mining with a gpu was still viable. Since that day im wondering if it is too late to get involved in bitcoin even though I stopped thinking about it for a few years since I was about 15 years old with different things on my mind. Just recently I began wondering again: Is it too late to get involved in bitcoin? After the price blew up in 2014 I asked me the same thing and thought the hype is over and I am just too late. Even if bitcoin is a bubble and each bitcoin is overvalued who can safely tell when the bubble is going to pop if it ever will? I just think this is an awesome project with an equally awesome community despite the weird things in the altcoin section that tend to become more and more popular due to "weird" people picking up on the bitcoin hype caused by media and the increased internet awareness. Im talking about projects like "bigboobscoin" which is topped by some emojis in the title. Since I came along this project I want to own one of the 21M bitcoins to ever be created. In addition bitcoin has something magical to it which I cant put in words but the fact that satoshi never got identified gives me this feeling of a revolution of currency with the right intension. He never pulled out his round about 1 million btc. Well who knows maybe Satoshi is dead by now and his btc will never be touched. Bitcoin came out of the mind of a genious and is so much more worth than only "going to the moon".

Im just wondering if bitcoin and its community still got the same spirit or have the weird people and rich investors overtaken to ruin this project by treating it like a pump and dump shitcoin without a soul?
I hope my english is good enough to make you understand my thoughts and feelings.

Have a nice day.

BIT will get back to 7k levels in no time. Still right to time to get IN!
94  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any one using Minergate.com on: November 13, 2017, 05:53:17 PM
By far the best and most profitable option is Nicehash miner + DMD Diamond multipool. All this under condition you want to use algo switching software which automates your mining.

It works in a way whatever you mine gets sent do DMD Diamond multipool which exchanges your BTC for DMD Diamond. Then DMD Diamond stakes at 20+% rate per year ATM. Good stuff!

Thank you for your valuable inputs.

98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: favorite altcoin on: November 11, 2017, 05:12:12 AM
For me it's Monero for now.
Good to mine from my GPUs.
Higher price, high profitability.
High security and large and supportive community.

Planing to set up masternode for Monero. Is it profitable?
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to get involved into Bitcoin? on: November 11, 2017, 03:06:00 AM
It's better to be late than not making an attempt whereas no time is too late

BTC is coming down so another opportunity before it surges back to ~$8000
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will outperfom Bitcoin exchange rate by 2018? on: November 10, 2017, 04:38:57 PM
I think the market cap mght be higher than Bitcoin but for the price to be higher than tat of Bitcoin will be a tough task, remember that we are moving closer to new bitcoin halving and with te number of demand for Bitcoin we can see Bitcoin reaching a new height

ETH will be dominating currency over next few years since BTC will reach new heights (~15000USD). I see so many of my friends started investing in ETH past few weeks.
