Is it better to get BTC via mining or buying now?

It was no longer profitable early this year for mining. However, with the recent price surge, does mining becomes profitable now?

If yes, any suggestion? There are quite many cloud miner in the market.

Thanks.
Here if you are going to use those minded bitcoin , that you will mine through your miner at the current time then I don't think that you will get much profit than what you are expecting Because due to cost of the electricity bitcoin mining is not profitbale .
But if you want to mine today and want to use fmafyer long time then may be it will be profitable for you .
But here for you I will give suggestion to go for mining of another coins likes dash , Etherium and more another , or just buy bitcoin now because price of the bitcoin increasing day by day smoothly that is much profitbale for all the bitcoin holder.

For me I personally prefer buying. Mining is great but it is too complex to earn something profitable because your earnings might go instead to paying electricity bills in using your custom mining rig(although there are already preferred rigs out there). In buying I could just keep on holding it and wait for the price to rise up so I can sell it profitably. I'll invest some of my BTC in a campaign while I keep on holding my other BTC.

Buying or mining are both profitable and yes you have a point if I will choice between this two I also prefer to choice buying bitcoin than mining because in mining you need a good equipment that cost a lot plus the electricity you can cost while if you buy bitcoin you can trade this in some trading site or invest in some project that will give you a good profit but this is my own opinion it’s up to you which one will you choice.
I also prefer buying over the mining of bitcoins .this is because the mining process is itself too expensive and once you gain control of the whole setup for mining process including the nonstop availability of electricity through long hours and also the expensive setup, you are able to get the Btcs according to the desire but the profit is almost equal to the expenses of the process.

Therefore the preferable way is to buy the coins at the time of dump and then sell them at high prices earning huge profits without any input effort.

I choose bitcoin exchange. Because when I buy bitcoin I feel easier. Bitcoin miners need to know more about mining techniques. I often use bitcoin to exchange with altcoin for profit.

Mining has a requirement such as buying a miner or creating a set up of cpu that can withstand the work load required of mining. This means that it will cost you a lot more cash before you can actually mine, it will take time before you could recover your capital investment before you could actually earn your profit. While in buying bitcoin, there is a chance that you might bought btc at a small amount or lower than usual and this could earn you a profit but only when you hold it for a long time.

Mining is way much more complicated and you could lose your investment, considering the market difficulty. Investing, that's less risk. Mining 6-7 years ago, that would've been a great idea, but now, you need big money to have an impact.

mining straight BTC, unless you have huge amount of money to set everything up does not worth, at all.
If you have a powerful pc and not aiming to make money just out of that, you can try to join a mining pool and mine some altcoins which you will convert later on into BTC; id say to use the money you would invest into mining to buy some in an exchanger or locabitcoin.
Ignore cloud mining and BTC mining, it's better to invest into BTC directly.

Now mining is just business, requiring a lot of money. You need a very expensive and big mining-farm! It has a low payback.

I prefer to just buy bitcoin. Mining bitcoin is not a lucrative way of having bitcoin nowadays because of its high difficulty. Back then, when bitcoin is just fairly new, it was a great way of acquiring it and just hold it to have a good profit. Not to mention the cost to build mining rigs specially the graphic card which is very costly, and the high electricity cost it consumes just to mine. If you are going to just buy bitcoin, you can avoid this upfront cost. You just need to register in exchange sites and you are ready to go. It depends on you if you are going to hold or trade it to gain more bitcoin.

I completely agree with you on BTC mining part of your comment. Exploring altcoin mining is still a good option.

I would actually recommend on just buying BTC because mining will be just a waste of time and money. Instead of buying a high end antminer for mining you can just buy BTC and invest from it,  why would you make yourself struggle to get back your money from buying an 1K$ machine when you can just invest it directly?. am I right?. Mining was profitable when the price was really low because it was easy and there was really not a lot of people who were investing and knew about bitcoin that is why before it was profitable but now its hard and waste of energy. The price surge actually made mining very hard. If I were you i would just invest it straight to bitcoin and earn from it that's my suggestion. Good luck. Wink

It is easier to buy bitcoin because you'll just wait the price increase and then sell it to get a big profit ,but in bitcoin mining it is really expensive because you will have to pay for high electricity cost to run the hardware as well as cooling units and there will be regular maintenance cost.
I will prefer you buying bitcoin in place of mining bitcoin because mining need a huge device which also need electricity in large amount which cost large utility bills while buying bitcoin is easy job just buy some bitcoin and hold for a time when the time is up from the present rate then you can sale and earn more money.

If you want that badly to obtain a bitcoin i think buying is a good answer for that because if you buy coins it will lessen your hassle to have a bitcoin unlike mining that need much knowledge and other said it is too hard to obtain a bitcoin via mining because they said it also need a requirement like a good hardware to mine a bitcoin or maybe to earn well

There is not a lot of techniques you have to learn to start mining, just get the hardware necessary and connect everything and start mining, but in order to start mining at this difficulty rate you need to invest a huge amount to get any profit, purchasing is always a better option if you have a limited budget

Majority here will say dont go with cloud mining,
The reason people say those is simply because it is not profitable, there are chances that you might not even get the invested amount,it all depends upon the difficulty level and the amount of hash power you own.

Mining for now with the current price spark of bitcoin is more profitable and better than buying, cause buying is very expensive and will take a while for you to earn a good profit from your investment.

I think it is now profitable to engage in bitcoin mining, because according to my calculations, I'm going to make a profit even if the price of bitcoin would be 3000$

I will just buy bitcoins because it is east and no efforts needed just keep it in your wallet to get high return but i think buying will give huge profit only if your investment is also big.But im still new to the mining so i not yet tried mining because bitcoin mining is getting harder now so i just invested in buying bitcoin.
Agreed! Buying of bitcoins is lot easier thing to do as compared to that of mining of bitcoins. It is because of the reason that mining requires lot of consumption of power as well as electricity. In addition to this, you need to have some super computers top perform mining. Buying the bitcoins and that too at the time when the market prices are falling down is really a good thing to do.

buying bitcoin will be a simple thing and not a hassle. but, the benefits are in get, of course minning is always greater. but, as people say, the bigger the profit, the bigger the stakes. if you're great in minning, I think that would be something nice.

As for me - mining is a best opportunity to make some BTC.
I tried to trade Bitcoins, but it was very nervous for me, so i decided to buy a couple of miners and make a profit on it.
