How to recover my wallet and my Balance? I Used the seed to recover my wallet but the Wallet Adress changed and the balance doesnt show up anymore.. what should I do?

Meanwhile wallets are still "offline" on exchanges... It has moved into the second week with no end in sight...  No end in sight? Really? The entire blockchain was moved from C++ to Golang, things take time. It was also moved from C++ to Golang in a hurry to protect the integrity of the network. I know this is crypto but seriously, be patient. You'll be able to sell in a few days, I'm sure. I don't think it's the smartest thing you could do but hey, what do I know? I'm a bear. I like to eat the heads off fish. No offence meant with "no end in sight", it is in vulgar parlance. I understand everything... that this is a great job, put it kindly, to make it all that Dero devs have done and doing right now (i'm sure!). But i only want to know, lets say, "as soon as practicable" date when wallets will be available for deposits on exchanges... and only because of such long "offline" time. Well I would say "when it's ready" is fair enough. The dero team usually gives estimates that are further out than expected but I have noticed some "over promising" lately on timelines. The roadmap is still on schedule and to me, that is the most important. I get the issue but like I said... I'm a bear. I like to bite the heads off fish.

The asics coming to market is DERO's chance to absolutely steal the spotlight from all the other anon coins. Sure everyone has forked/cloned cryptoknight and tweaked it to make cryptoknight heavy/ cryptoknight lite, but I don't see many people actually innovating in a way that keeps the asics at bay once and for all. Dero should make a algorithm that randomly generates a new algorithm each block. It sounds crazy but I have faith in the Captain's abillity to code. He was able to re-write an entire protocol in a new language in 3 months. This guy is an expert in cryptography and algorithms so creating something totally unique isn't a question of can, its a question of will or won't. Also this algorithm shouldn't be unnecessarily fancy, it should just be an algorithm that can keep the asics at bay FOREVER. Designing this kind of algorithm will cause massive interest in dero because of the technical feat that it was to create. Most crypto dev teams aren't skilled enough to create something like this so it will really make dero shine in comparison to its competition. Then when the virtual machine is dropped on top of a network with its own super unique algorithm that has utility, everyone will sing dero's praise from the bears on the mountain top to the bees in the valley. Will put this on the table in front of whole team for discussion. |

Projects with POS is totally scam. Coins from air, without working? In my opinion any form of POS is unacceptable. I do not like ETH and never invest in because of that. Look SIGT in summer 2017. Yeah, it have very good price rise in short term. But where it now, when POW dies? If ETH go to pos, it happen with him just like with SIGT. Right now i think DERO is reliable POW project with long life and bright future. Pls do not turn it to hype with scamming and disappointing end (like Buterin wants do with ETH).

There would be POW change if asics are spotted on DERO network.
Wait, how would you know if there are ASICs present if they are on a private pool or solo mining? I understand how you can figure this out on the official pool - and likely get this information from other public pools on the network, but not from private pools or solo miners. Not that I doubt you, just that I am not aware of how this can be determined, especially for a CN coin which ensures privacy by default. There is no bulletproof method to determine that exactly but as You look carefully in the network you will find natural growth. we monitor and correlate several parameters and most of the time you will find 80-90% of hashrate on public pools and remaining on private pools and most of the miners on slack/discord. when you see hashrate spikes/20-30 MHs you can see NH orders placed. Also you can see several NH order placers in slack/discord. But now there is no way you can stop NH. DERO hash growth has been proportional to numbers of members joined our slack/Discord/forum etc. As of now we have around few hundred registered members on official DERO forum ( https://forum.dero.io). You are with us from beginning and have seen my stand against NH and also DERO diff algo is not profitable for NH users and believe me we have got lots of request(in various forms that can no longer be called requests) to change that algo. Asics will not have any major advantage on DERO if they wana come/go unless they wana stay for long. And then as said. |

This has been answered numerous times. With previous issues this dev team has taken the time to create the best possible solution instead of rapidly pushing out buggy code. Trust them. Actually, it hasn't been answered even once: we have only been told there is a good reason for delaying implementation of any of the several solutions under consideration, not the reason itself, nor even a timeline for the deployment of a solution. Consequently, all I know right now is that mining DERO with a GPU or CPU while its network hashrate is >12MH/s is like throwing a hotdog down a hallway. So I'll buy the equivalent of a few weeks worth of what my rig would mine pre-ASIC invasion and have said rig do something more productive with its hashpower. There would be POW change if asics are spotted on DERO network. |

I promise we're not waiting without a good reason We have multiple algos ready to go that are all very promising + an anti-asic algorithm generator built by our devs that can create hundreds of algos/second Hmmm... and which mining program would we use to do all that algo switching? Why not just switch to Cryptonight Heavy like Sumokoin and be done with it? The longer DERO waits to fork off the ASICs the more miners/supporters it will lose... including me, because I won't support a project where 99% of the hashrate is used to immediately sell coins at whatever the bid is, and that is exactly what most ASIC miners do. i do not like cryptonight heavy, because i try to mine it with new versions of Claymore GPU and Xmrig CPU and it have 100% rejected shares. Only XMR-stack works with it, but i do not like this miner. So i do not like cryptonight heavy. Pleace, make Dero compatible with Claymore and XMRig CPU. We are working and evaluating all options and reasons including above. |

Hello again.
I thought a little about Golang/SSL, implemented in DERO, and have some ideas. In theory the use of DERO for exchanges or PSP (payment service providers) will provide a more stable/privacy/secure connection with users and services.
Also it can give more in different web-services what uses a lot information about their users and need safe connection.
Besides, adding the NFC to a mobile wallet can give us a good and secure payment instrument.
P.S. This can be a good solution for the digital economy. Such chenese systems are known as "Zhima credit" or "Sesame Credit". Big brother is wathcing you, but it gave some pluses for chenese society...but the big brother's eye... zero privacy...bad, disgusting. The system of social credit gives pluses for progress for all people, but we remember about big brother. And now we have instrument such as DERO. You want take a credit or sell something on the marketplace, you find a worker with a good real reputation and etc. All of you need it is a smarphone with a social credit system app built on DERO techs. The social credit system protects your interest from speculation and fraud, protects your privacy and your information. In a special app placed your wallet, social credit system, bank info, medical info and all what you need else. Biometrical identification with hidden markers which is activated if someone forces you and automatically sends a signal to police/security. Noted. Thanks for your inputs. |
