Yeah unfortunately it seems like you are out of luck.  You will need the password to your text file to get your key to your wallet.  Always keep several copies in case of something like this.  I'm truly sorry for you.

Hard to beat the security of a hardware wallet like that Nano.  Definitely make sure to keep everything confidential regardless of what platform you choose.

I dont see how you made the transaction without having coins in mew.  Can you verify that it did indeed do the transaction?

I definitely use both exchanges but prefer binance at the moment.  A lot of good coins coming from binance lately.  I also like their app to use on the go.

When you are looking at your coins, look at that value in BTC to see how they are doing against it.  The majority of coins are down in USD as BTC is down.  Change the view and see the coins that are rising against BTC even when it is struggling.  Those are solid coins and you should think about keeping them.  Once BTC goes back up, the value will readjust for the sea of red that is upon us right now. 

I have not had any issues with Binance to date other than their withdrawal fee is higher than others.  Nice interface, great Android app for on the go use. 

I have been in the game a little over a month.  Did not have a huge investment but have had an overall 3X on my portfolio.  I have accounts on a lot of exchanges.  I wanted some opinions from others on which exchanges do you like the best and why? 

Just be careful getting into these groups.  Sure you can make some money but you can also lose your tail in them as well.

Binance seems to have things going good right now.  I use multiple exchanges for different coins, just depending on where they are marketed.  Seems like a lot of pumps have been on coins at binance lately so I will keep doing work there...along with Bittrex and a few smaller ones.

This seems to be the most popular question on the daily basis now.  Go do your research on the coins and I am sure you will find one that you want to invest in.  

Do your research, be wary of potential scams but yes you can invest in many of them if you have the assets to do so.  Good luck!

I mean everybody is here to make money but I hate to see things like this because it can affect someone not in the group that is just trying to make an honest investment and learn. 

I still possess some ripple...sold out of tron over the weekend for a 4x profit.  Tron makes me too uneasy to keep as a hold right now.
