on other coins, too, often update their wallets, but coins do not disappear. Imagine the situation - bitcoin updated the purse and all the coins that were before this will disappear, what will they do with the developers in this case? I think the losses should be repaid
Hi peter054, Sorry to hear that you've lost some coins by mining the old chain. The old blockchain hit a deadlock around 850 blocks and no new blocks were mined for days, we announced at that time that we would be restarting the blockchain since we needed to make some vital changes to the network. We warned people not to mine since their coins wouldn't be valid once we switched to the new chain. Sorry for the inconvenience. |

50 confirmations to reach maturity. Reward is 20 TWIST. how much is maximum supply ? (I see 200M was POW)
TWIST has no maximum supply. It will be pure Proof of Stake after block 20000, and it has an annual inflation of 10%. However, that inflation amount assumes that every single coin is being staked, which is obviously not going the case, so the actual inflation will be less. |

Just found interesting thing: can't open wallet's upper menu (File, Settings, Help), is it bug or normal? If normal, then how should I close wallet if needed?
If you're on linux/osx, those options may appear on the menu bar at the top of the screen. |

To clarify, the address generator tool (twist.network/address) is not a wallet, it's just a tool to generate an address and a private key. The blockchain is being restarted and new wallets are being released. We aim to release the new wallets within 24 hours. The new wallets will be incompatible with the old chain but we will give instructions on how to import your address from the old wallet. |

What is the maximum possible supply of coins ever in future  No maximum supply for TWIST. We have 10% annual inflation assuming everybody stakes all their coins. Since not everyone will stake, the inflation will be less. |

looks like i don't qualify. couldn't you just use the metric of how long your account has been around rather than activity? it makes more sense than activity if your goal is to try and keep people from signing up and abusing the system. that just promotes people to make new accounts and spam to get to the desired activity level. with time of account created, that allows lurkers to participate.
let's be honest, there is very limited real discussion on bitcointalk. most comments on this entire forum are just people commenting fake positive comments on projects to get airdrop rewards. activity means nothing on this site unless your target audience are people who try and make a living through airdrop rewards... which is the opposite of what I would expect.
