Interesting, could have some implications for bitcoin adoption by Google:

LOL, superimposed on the video stream: APPLE WATCH: TELL YOU THE ACTUAL TIME! A WATCH THAT YOU WEAR ON YOUR WRIST!!

Unfortunately, it requires an iPhone in your pocket also.

If coinbase or blockchain wrote an app for the watch I'd buy it!

Monkey is planning to touch 444 again.

I don't trade BTCUSD lately, personally.  I do buy BTC to spend, and try to save a little sometimes.

I can't really see BTCUSD climbing much, or for long, until COIN is listed.  It would be against the interests of the large accumulators for that to occur.  There is an obvious watershed event planned, and everyone who is well-able to suppress a market has been provided advance notice of that event.  They've been granted open season to make bank large.  What else could possibly occur?

Holders can take comfort in the fact that they have no intention to break the coin.  Quite the opposite.

Cheers! Out of interest, does monkey support your COIN theory as well? I'd be really happy if this happened. I'm not calling out for a bubble, just an easier nights sleep. At the moment I feel like it's January again, I think it's because I am actively mining again.

My 40TH/s mine only cost me £4000 and I worry endlessly about it, can't imagine how some of the larger mining operations cope.

Yawn.. Why do I have to keep repeating myself with this? They haven't even begun yet.

I know that. The question is whether we will be able to follow their moves once they start.  (SMBIT publishes some data, and there is a thread devoted to digesting that data and deducing their weekly trading activity.)

Sorry Jorge, wasn't intentionally responding to you, rather who you were quoting initially!

Isn't GABI supposed to be investing billions of dollars into bitcoin right now?

Does anyone know whether the Jersey regulations require that full status reports and/or independent audits of investment funds to be published periodically?  Or will those reports be available only to investors?

Yawn.. Why do I have to keep repeating myself with this? They haven't even begun yet. It won't be until mid September/ beginning of October. Admittedly GABI should do a better job of publicising this fact
89  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 31, 2014, 02:55:56 PM
i hope you get your cheap coins @ 450 or 430 or 390...problem from down there there is no rush recovery...only enthusiats are still buying...
if people would really believe that gabi has an incredible impact the price would be much higher, or do you think they want to buy AFTER gabi puts in their 200mil?

I doubt GABI will matter that much from that perspective. If/When they start buying in mid Sept/ October on exchanges and not directly from miners it will not likely make headlines. Yes we may see improvements in volume and price, but in terms of main stream adoption the average Joe is not very likely going to be aware of it even happening, unless the unlikely happens and it is a catalyst for a bubble and it's picked up by mainstream media citing "The return of Bitcoin" but even then I doubt we are going to see people jumping on board like October/ November last year: A./ Because $500 is still a lot for the average "non investor" to gamble on something and B./ Gox, which did make mainstream news has killed a lot of trust in Bitcoin.

I am not writing Bitcoin off at all, I believe in it and as of the end of September will be running a 50TH/s mine (30 as of this week) so do have an invested interest, but I don't think GABI or money from UAE are going to make that much difference in terms of the adoption that Bitcoin actually needs to succeed.

weak hands being shaken, over and over again. this is nothing new and its just a lol when people panic sell. You guys realize GABI is starting to trade tomorrow right, as in 200 mill USD in attaining bitcoin.... (yes, it may come from large scale miners, but its still big news).

1st of September is just a rumour/ myth. Having spoken to them, I would be very, very surprised if we magically saw them buying lots of Bitcoin as of 9AM tomorrow morning.

Crazy shit happening!
No kidding.  I just read that Hello Kitty is not a cat at all, but an anorexic suburban London girl, Kitty White, daughter of George and Mary White.

This confuses me more than bears dumping.. How is she a little girl? She has whiskers and cat ears??

The awesome part about this particular low slippage purchase, is I'm fairly certain it's the GABI backers.  If so, every coin I take from them now, without slippage, will have to be repurchased in a few days, hopefully with lots of slippage!

GABI aren't buying yet, call them and they will confirm:

94  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 27, 2014, 05:33:08 PM
*My 1 year track record is that I have cashed out around 60% of my initial investment, I have reinvested into new equipment ~150% of my initial investment and I own bitcoins worth of 90% of my initial investment. With big exchange rate swings ofc.[/size]

Bitcoinrama you always impress me with your post.  You are the biggest broke dick nut swinger I have ever seen.  You know nothing about mining and it's more and more noticeable in every post and you obviously don't understand that your little bs 3 SP30's you've been circle jerking everyone you can to get in on is just going to put more more in the hole lol!

In 1 year you are still in the red?  Hahahaha sucks for you!  I did it 5 months and made about 20-30k when I sold my hardware and I did this while we had stupid huge jumps and price fluctuations everywhere.

I wouldn't trash on you so much if you weren't such an ignorant prick about this stuff.  So have fun with your little operation.  I am glad I'm down and didn't do any stupid Pre orders I am happy without doing them.  Cashing out got me a 22k Mile Turbo 93 Cobra, most of the stuff for our x275 car and the latest a motor for my 02 Porsche turbo.  So life is good on the money I made not listening to fuck tards like you lol!

Guy and team hats off for busting ass!  Continue that development and maybe ban Roadstress from whatever deal you have with him.  I told you awhile back if you could have done the 200-300k datacenter but done it on on time (without pre orders) I have way more than enough to do so.  My only request was going to be to remove this half whit.

NO F'KING WAY?!?!

If this is true, it explains a whole lot!!

It's not! They are 2 different people. I know this having spoken to both previously.

Order book is looking way too thin on Stamp.. I'm out. This is too stressful, to the point I can't trade logically so I'm out! I'll check where we are up to in a few weeks and buy back in.

Big new orders between 450$ and 470$ on finex.  Cool

Same on Stamp!

1000 btc bid at $470.05 & 269.31 at $470 just to get things started.

Not necessarily real and could be pulled the second someone takes a nibble, but certainly looking a bit nicer than yesterday

DUMP APPEARS IMMINENT... ETHEREUM JUST TRANSFERRED 1237 COINS TO THEIR TRADING WALLET.

https://blockchain.info/address/36PrZ1KHYMpqSyAQXSG8VwbUiq2EogxLo2?filter=1

See... same wallet they sent to two other times. Each time right before a collapse. WATCH OUT!!!!

Does NOT add up... why would they time their sales to attempt to tank bitcoin.. ?

Yeah, doesn't make sense to me, in kiling Bitcoin they would kill consumer confidence in their own product.

I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but I'm beginning to think that a lot of this is connected with "what could potentially happen next" The regulation, the ETF etc are all connected and are all coming soon (ish)

http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2djiav/its_not_manipulation/ makes the point a lot better than I could.
