Yes, check this web https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ric/#!network
And clic in node list, take some of them and put into your conf file.
restart and it will sync

I downloaded the Riecoin-Core Wallet but it says no block sources available... fix for this ?

Honestly i think you're doing bad movement.

Now is an amazing time for accumulation in riecoin.

Buy when there's blood in the street, even if its your own blood

Greetings All,

Sadly I have disabled my Riecoin node and active services for now. Perhaps some day I will turn it on again and resume all services. I've retained services that do not need an active node to participate.

Riecoin is a neat idea and project, I hope it can find a valid exchange someday.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RIC] Riecoin: constellations POW *CPU* HARD FORK successful, world record on: August 06, 2017, 04:42:38 PM
As you can see there was a big buys in poloniex market. But i can't understand why poloniex don't enable riecoin.

I have many tickets, but they don't answer. I think they have an overload in work. And any day will restablish riecoin

They know and when it happens we will see 10k-20k satoshi

Someone have been buying big amounts at once, around 100-200btc each

Why there is so big difference between btc38 price and poloniex price?

Poloniex price must increase to match same as btc38

btc38 0.11$
poloniex 0.07$

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/riecoin/#markets

the price may pump when poloniex finish its maintenance

If u call disabling a wallet and leaving it disabled for months maintenance, then yes polo is in "maintenance" for ric...

What is the statement from developer about this issue with Poloniex?

Please update us with some info.

Hello,

I want to ask if somebody knows when the wallet will be enabled again in poloniex.

I don't think anyone knows.  They "handled" my support ticket request by... closing it and saying it was normal for wallets to be temporarily offline.

This didn't do much for my confidence in Poloniex.  I'm very unimpressed compared to the times I've had to file support tickets at Bittrex and other places.

BTC38 is hitting hard on RIC ticker,

Now i see 0.11$ in btc38 and 0.09$ in poloniex.

Soon riecoin will skyrocket mark my words

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/riecoin/#markets

EDIT: right now 0.147$ in BTC38 . And poloniex keep holding, this gonna skyrocket like apolo13

EDIT2: Its almost the double of current value in poloniex. we'll see soon 7000sat

Looks like Riecoin is going over 3500 sat soon!

All of this conversation is to force people to dump their coins before the hard fork?

After hard fork 10k sat?  Cheesy

You think now good moment to buy?

The market value of riccoin is so low , the team is considering replacing algorithms.  And add more features?.

Are you thinking of market cap? Because Riecoin is at an all time high currently, do you need a graph?

No one is planning on changing the PoW either. The primary function of the PoW is to find large prime constellations. If the hashrate continues to follow the current trend, new record breaking sextuplets will be discovered very soon.
I think the market value of RIECOIN can be greater, such as $100 million
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RIC] Riecoin: constellations POW *CPU* HARD FORK successful, world record on: June 11, 2017, 09:24:21 PM
If you see the daily chart since past 3-4 months. You can see an amazing acumulation. Big inside info we dont know but deeply reflected into the market.

Riecoin will go over 10k sat soon.  Wink

this coin is heating up, any reason other than volume coming into market ?
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RIC] Riecoin: constellations POW *CPU* HARD FORK successful, world record on: June 02, 2017, 10:55:18 AM
The projection of Riecoin looks very beautiful.
Now 5000sat and liquidity very low, soon we'll see it around 10k sat.

Regards

Yes, i also want to have my wallet working, and start mining also.

gatra, there are several in the community who would like to see some new exchanges, would you care to reach out to bittrex or any other exchange to support further listings for RIC?

Some updates to the software should also be in order. Incorporating updated seed nodes would be a big help at the moment as several user are having difficulty with initial sync.

Lastly, are there any plans to incorporate some of the fixes for later versions of bitcoin like satoshi 12.1 etc? I feel that a little effort would go a long way to further establish some legitimacy for this project.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★[ANN] [NAV] NAV COIN - NAVTECH NOW DECENTRALIZED! on: April 20, 2017, 07:47:43 AM
Dear all

I've been reading this article from Andrew Miller. http://hackingdistributed.com/2017/04/19/monero-linkability/
He is professor at the University of Illinois. His research interests include all facets of cryptocurrency science, from measurement and simulation to theory and formal modelling.
He is showing the traceability of mostly monero transactions.

I searched for the email of this guy, and explained a little about Navcoin, linked to the whitepaper navtech, and decentralized navtech whitepaper.

Maybe he read something about Navcoin and he get interested and analyze with all of his knowledge and wisdom. Also he has many coworkers and professors to share about NAV.

Here is the text of the email if anyone wants to see it:

Quote
Hello Andrew.

My name is ------- and im from -----, i write you because i've read your article about traceability of Monero. And i really like it.

I also want to share you info about an anon coin called Navcoin. Maybe you can research about it, and try to trace its transactions. But their new idea to anonymize transactions i think is really good.

The whitepaper is here: http://www.navcoin.org/files/navtech-whitepaper-beta-v0.9.pdf

It starts writing about the problem with anonymity. And here is the "high level solution" i quote for you (and also an explanation of the solution):

As you can see, they use a subchain sent to an anonymous server. For this added problem to the solution of the first problem they created a decentralized system of servers, which anyone can configure/install. Some people started their own clusters, and also you can run them through TOR.

Here i provide you the link http://www.navcoin.org/files/navtech-decentralisation-whitepaper-beta-v0.9.pdf

HIGH LEVEL SOLUTION
The approach we have taken to disconnect the sender from the receiver uses
multiple techniques which will be further outlined in the Solution Details section.
The main technique that we have employed is to use a second blockchain we call
the Subchain.
Instead of sending NAV directly to the receiver, the wallet encrypts the receiver's
address and sends the transaction to one of the addresses provided by the
randomly selected processing server. When this server receives this transaction,
it creates a transaction of arbitrary size on the Subchain which it sends it a
randomly selected outgoing server.
This Subchain transaction has the receiver's address and the amount of NAV to
send encrypted and attached to it. When the outgoing server receives the
Subchain transaction, it decrypts the data, randomizes the transaction amounts
and sends the NAV to their intended recipient from a preloaded pool of NAV that
is waiting on the outgoing server.
After the outgoing server has sent out the randomized NAV to the intended
recipient, the incoming server will join together any NAV which has been
processed and on the next transaction cycle send it to the outgoing server to
replenish the preloaded pool of NAV for future transactions.
The consequence of this is that we have broken the transactional link between
sender and receiver on the Nav Coin blockchain by routing the transaction
information through the Subchain. The NAV sent to the recipient are not in any
way connected to the NAV that are received.
We can reliably instruct the outgoing server to send NAV to the recipient before
the sent NAV arrive because we can trust the information provided by the
Subchain as accurate due to the immutable nature of blockchain transactions.

Maybe you need more time if you only have 1100 coins

Did you unlocked your wallet to stake?

I am testing staking on the wallet, however been stacking it for 2 days or soand it doesn't show up anything wtih the 24 h staking. Currently testing with just a small amount of 1,1 k NAV.
Also I'm not really experienced with wallets, however I know i should save me data from my wallet should I keep saving the wallet if i add funds to me wallet?

Yeah i did does it has to do with the low amount I have on it? That it takes longer? Because I thought if I stake for 24 hour or longer it will get more mature and increase the staking or am I wrong?
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★[ANN] [NAV] NAV COIN - NAVTECH NOW DECENTRALIZED! on: April 19, 2017, 11:05:16 AM
I moved 200.000 coins to my wallet after the poloniex issue.
In my timezone was 10:48
Now at 12:52 i see first stake of 2.37 NAV

I don't think Poloniex acted in the correct way.

I think they must at least delisted in packets of 5 coins. And also notify each client with an EMAIL about the delisting instead of tweet. Because only those users active 24/7 and those that eventually saw it early were able to sell, all of them are more than -50%

And more reason to notify all of them through the unique way they have with their clients "THE EMAIL". Because many of them have increased their value +2000% days/weeks ago

Poloniex definitely did a wrong step. Im gonna withdraw my funds from there. They can delist any coin they want and fuck you.

I withdraw all my btcs from poloniex. I don't trust in this exchange anymore, they can manipulate whatever they want.

I just bought a ton of cheap IOC to stake, which is something good that came out of this at least. As for the delist, there has been something fishy with poloniex for a while. This could be a paid thing to lower the IOC price before DIONS release or something similar..Polo has a history of disabling wallets during or at the beginning of pumps to make it easier to pump, propably bribed by the pumpers etc. Weird errors that continue weeks on end, I decided that even though polo is one of the biggest exchanges for alts these days, i will not trust it anymore for these reasons and withdrew all of my BTC: s and IOC: s to my own wallets.
