Yeah, it's a pity that TheProtocol.TV only offers the on-demand view, I like to have it on my drive ... therefore I went and bought it on vimeo, used the DECENTRALIZE coupon for discount (unfortunately they don't accept Bitcoins...). Just watched it. It's professionally made and liked it. It's a bit hard to follow in the begging with all the facts about the history of money (would probably need like 10 separate documentaries to explain all about it). I really liked some interesting facts and quotes, some inspiring thoughts. It's also a nice add-on to other documentaries like "The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin" ... go ahead and watch it Hi. Valerian from TheProtocol.TV here. It's $5.99 for both the download and stream. Once you purchase, there's a big DOWNLOAD button on the bottom of the stream. Thanks for your feedback. We'll make it more apparent in our next iteration. Cheers! -v.

Hello. Is there a development roadmap for HEMP?
|
|
|
We don't have any roadmap. Currently, development team is working on POS fix. As for me, after that's finished, I will work on speeding up wallet, fixing bugs and maybe Android wallet.
Excellent. It's definitely worth getting the foundation solid first (wallets on all platforms, stable pools) before reaching out towards broader adoption. Best of luck to you and the development team!

I'm thinking of doing what exchanges do and have the user click a button to create a deposit/receiving code… The hemp coin reseller feature is probably going to be the most innovate thing not seen by any cryptocoin…
I like the distribution model of university students selling $10 to $100 worth of hemp coins… Where is the long-term roadmap/plan for unveiling all the features of THC? Clearly someone just lost a lot of enthusiasm in THC and dumped on Bittrex

Oh, I didn't noticed that. I'm sure it will be enabled for everyone soon. I think missing link to Linux wallet is not a big issue, everyone can find link to Github in ANN post. Issue about missing Mac wallet got lost in chain, blake notified me, I notified Tim and Tim didn't do anything. Nobody complained since, so I thought it has been resolved.
Sorry if it feels like I'm giving you a hard time. But, now is such a unique moment and I'm not sure if there will be another wave of interest like the one we are seeing now…even if it's because of another coin. You only get one chance to make a first impression. CANN is doing great. CCN seems to be doing well enough. I just don't want THC to get lost in the shuffle.

You are able to use it fully. Just some experimental features that 99% of people wouldn't use anyway are not available to everyone. Blockchain.info doesn't let you use experimental features either.
I wouldn't characterize "RECEIVE" as an experimental feature. Yes, anyone can compile the Linux wallet. But why have a link that goes nowhere on the homepage for the coin? And, the missing Mac wallet has been known for at least a month -- http://www.reddit.com/r/thehempcoin/comments/2gsgxc/why_no_mac_or_linux_wallet_and_cloud_wallet/

Linux wallet ? yes there is, my pool is running on it. Mac wallet, I can't confirm since I am anti-mac. As far as I know, you don't need a special invite to use the HTML wallet, I think he locked it at one point when it went viral and he was giving out a lot of coins( fartbags can confirm here). stable pools has been a problem in the past I admit, that's why we got one setup recently.
Click on Linux and Mac wallets…no downloads -- http://hempcoin.org/index.php/wallets/download-wallet And the idea of getting permission from a forum moderator to fully use the online wallet is completely ridiculous. I don't doubt everyone's sincerity, but seriously, just shut it down until things work properly.

Am I missing something… There is no Linux wallet. There is no Mac wallet. You need a special invite to send/receive from the HTML wallet. Up until recently there hasn't been a stable roster of pools to choose from. These are things that should be ready on day one. Yet this is a coin that's "been around" for a long time. Why on earth would any reasonable person choose this over other coins in the space (Cannabiscoin, Cannacoin, etc)?
