I wouldn't mind paying a small fee to watch it...but I would like to see a small preview of it before I buy it.

Happy Xmas,

Your Welcome

Pay them if you can afford it

Hey, Let's honor these guys and gals with donations and tips... if this is a success, they would most probably do another one. It's after all to our benefit too if it succeeds.

I figured it would make it's way to the torrents, but I hope the people downloading it, would show their appreciation, by donating to the cause.

Did I miss the info on how much of the budget for this was crowdfunded? $80 000 <-- Was that the production cost or the amount crowdfunded?

Very interesting point of view but I don't think that bitcoin will end the money we use everyday. First I must see the documentary to discuss more concretely but as it is presented seems to fatal. Bitcoin, I think, it will be a good substitute of all the other currencies and good one but not the substitute of any of those. Second there are e few lacks in bitcoin like the electronic form for example (to tell one) that don't allow it to be used like the normal money.

Anyhow I'm curious to see the documentary first.

Good hope. It will be a great thing if this it will be true. But I have my doubts. I can't tell nothing without seeing the documentary but to tell that bitcoin will sign the end of money as it is known it is a big deal and a big declaration. I don't believe this. maybe bitcoin is a revolution but it has its "defects" which cannot be repaired because are embedded on its nature. No one can buy an ice cream with bitcoin and it will be hard to do this in the future.  Wink There is not to many bitcoins to cover the needed money for all the world. And other things.

Anyhow bitcoin is a very big thing. And it is bigger the technology which is under it. This is a big force for him. And for sure it will have a brilliant future ahead of it.

The producer asked if he could use some of my footage of operating a bitcoin ATM a few months back. I donated them the footage for free.

I hope the production is good and I can't wait to watch it!

Yeah, it's a pity that TheProtocol.TV only offers the on-demand view, I like to have it on my drive ... therefore I went and bought it on vimeo, used the DECENTRALIZE coupon for discount (unfortunately they don't accept Bitcoins...). Just watched it. It's professionally made and liked it. It's a bit hard to follow in the begging with all the facts about the history of money (would probably need like 10 separate documentaries to explain all about it). I really liked some interesting facts and quotes, some inspiring thoughts. It's also a nice add-on to other documentaries like "The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin" ... go ahead and watch it Wink

Hi. Valerian from TheProtocol.TV here. It's $5.99 for both the download and stream. Once you purchase, there's a big DOWNLOAD button on the bottom of the stream. Thanks for your feedback. We'll make it more apparent in our next iteration. Cheers! -v.

$6 is fair, if you had choice to choose the physical books, that would be at least $10.
2 years of research, worth it i have a such book under my computing table, it charged me $10.

out of ability to use the signature, i want a new ban strike policy that will fade the strike after 90~120 days of the ban and not to be traced back, like google | email me for anything urgent, message will possibly not be instantly responded
i am not really active for some reason

This is the kind of worthy information that the general public needs on bitcoin.
Not the hyped Silk Soad headlines that gives bitcoin a bad name.
Kudos on a great doc, and urge all fellow bitcoiners to contribute a micro donation in btc.

Thanks, but you really REALLY need to accept Bitcoin payments. Especially for a piece like this, but in general as well.

It's free, safe, fast, worldwide, instant -- basically there's nothing but benefits from accepting Bitcoin. And if you use a Bitcoin payment processor like coinbase or bitpay you can receive the amount directly in USD (although obviously I would recommend you to keep the BTC instead).

Sorry 'bout that, my bad  Wink

In theory, there's no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Buddy, nothing is for free. Buy it on https://www.theprotocol.tv/bitcoin-the-end-of-money-as-we-know-it/ for approx. 0.023 BTC and thus support the authors of this nice documentary.
