81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the most promising cryptocurrencies? on: October 16, 2018, 12:04:23 PM
BTC
BCH
ETH
XRP
XLM
ZEC
I am hesitating to add TRX to my portfolio.
If you could conveniently add bitcoin cash and ripple to your portfolio, I wonder why it should then be a difficult thing for you to add TRX. For most part of things, and unless for some quick pumps which bitcoin cash has been good for, I must say, I still believe Tron has more potentials than bitcoin cash or ripple combined. However, it is always everyone's choice to choose whatever they feel like, I am just saying based on the fact that you said you are being skeptical having TRX in your portfolio which got my attention, looking at the list of coins you are actually holding.

In my view if there are coins deserve to hold more than 3 years not only 5 options even possible we will see more than it but indeed usually people stick to high position on coinmarketcap and i do agree with them because if we pick the coins which have high volume of support then that would be good although there is no guarantee from it but usually those coins will be popular and if we hold it then it will be less of risk
Of course, being the fact that it is a huge market and you obviously cannot get to invest in all the markets at the same time, while you just have to invest in the few ones you can handle and monitor.

Quote
however for top 5 i think here is my pick below
ETH
XRP
BCH
XRP
ADA
You mentioned XRP twice on your list though, and that makes me wonder if your love for XRP is that strong, that you are missing out on the fact that it is centralized. The only two markets there I really can add to my portfolio for long term is basically, ETH and ADA, but no way on earth I would not include bitcoin as the first on that list.

82  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you find Success in Gambling? on: October 16, 2018, 11:02:50 AM
Never mind him cause people usually ignore the fact that every setting have it own advantages and disadvantages which ones must abide or pay dearly for the consequences. However, the trading nentioned by him was somehow like gambling cause it is also risky and I have seen a lot if traders who are addicted to it and spending too much time on trading was said not to be good.
You cannot be addicted to trading as long as you know what you are doing and as long as you are not just seeing it as a gamble but a profession. These are totally different ball games and even though we have to keep predicting the future by making market moves sometimes, it is a market and there is always going to be signals for you to make decisions which are something no one will ever find from real gambling. Gambling can only be successful for someone who got lucky and was about to utilize the lucky win very well and not end up gambling it all away back which most people often get to do.

In evil thing there is no success. It is like a successful gangster. Gambling is a worst thing in the world and almost every country hate gambling and gamblers especially in Muslim countries. In my country gambling is strictly prohibited and nobody is allowed to gamble otherwise police will rad their and arrest all the gamblers with the money on the table.
That does not make gambling evil Grin, it is the ways people tend to see it or the attitude they have towards it that usually make it end up as evil. Yes, I understand that a lot of people tend to have different sides to the idea of gambling which I so much believe the problem with a lot of gamblers, is that they tend to always imagine that gambling is meant for them to get rich, so if that is the case, what they are forgetting is where the casino owners get to stand in this equation when everyone certainly wants to be winning. It is just a dream they tend to have and it backfires a whole lot for them in a terrible way.
83  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Popular Betting Strategies on: October 16, 2018, 09:50:29 AM
It looks more like a "academic paper on betting strategies" rather than betting strategies.
I mean I was honestly waiting for stuff like martingale and stuff that are similar to it and not this one. This is more like what you would do on a research paper for your school on statistics or economics type of class as a project instead of actually making a website around it.

It is too professional and honestly too "different" in a way that it shows the ideas and descriptions instead of the actual simple wikipedia type "this is how martingale works, this is how bluff works" type of explanation stuff which I was honestly expecting when I read the topic title and clicked to get here.
84  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit a trillion dollar marketcap in the future? on: October 16, 2018, 08:01:57 AM
Bitcoin itself and the crypto market are two very different stuff to compare. Bitcoin is about $6-$7k right now and has a marketcap of 120 billion dollars, which means if the price of bitcoin increases about 8 times it will reach 1 trillion dollar in price and that is about $55k or so in price.

This is definitely possible for bitcoin, it is not that unlikely that dollar value will go down with time (inflation) as well and bitcoin always gains value over long periods of time (even tho 2018 was bad, look at what it was last year and now) so I can definitely see bitcoin price reaching about 55-60 thousand dollar levels one day, it may not be tomorrow of course but in a span of 5-10 years it looks like quite achievable price.

However, if we were to talk about the crypto market in general its already over 200 billion dollars and just needs to hit 5 times bigger to reach to a trillion dollars which I believe will be quite easy to achieve, new money keeps pouring in and the value of altcoins can skyrocket much easier than bitcoin.
85  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going towards the dark on: October 15, 2018, 06:26:34 PM
I think it has not gotten to the bottom yet and we should hope that bitcoin will recover when it get to the bottom.  I see many investors that buy bitcoin over $10,000 still holding and I am keeping faith that in 2019 we would see another direction of the market.
Whether it has gotten to the bottom yet or not, always consider how far the market has moved from the previous ATH down and then you will understand that we are already in a huge dip with no one knowing the possibilities of how things would peradventure pan out eventually. For what it is worth, I believe we are in a market that has been growing yearly and that is something that is always worth paying attention to. However, anyone wants to see it, either dark or light, that is of course how they want to see it, but by now, I expect people to know this is still an early stage of the market and this is a chance to be investing low.

We can say that history repeat itself but it doesn't mean that everything will come along that way. The current situation is pretty hard which could tend that pumps will not occurs at this year but still we do hope and there is a twist on the coming days.
Nothing is actually hard with the current situation, it is just a state of the market and can happen to any market at all, which for those people who are always smart enough to know that this is a market that still has a long way to go when it comes to growth, they will possibly understand the reasons why they should be focusing on the long term and not in the short term instead. So far, we have seen a huge breakout, but certainly we still do not know yet how this is going to end up though, but for now, we can just stay optimistic.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crime Effect of Gambling - Your thoughts! on: October 15, 2018, 04:28:33 PM
i dont consider recovering your looses an addiction if he meant to say that.

Ofc he needs to risk it but to follow the profit he will have to do it at all costs.
If you are recovering your losses, it is either you are addicted already or you are just on your way to getting addicted, and it is just a matter of time before you end up reaching that final destination where you will get trapped in that your pursuit for loss recovery.

It has never ended up well for those who are possibly trying to recover their loss and it never will because it is the mindset that you brought into gambling in the first place that would make you to ever consider trying to recover loss which is more like trying to push your luck harder for winning, and that is something terrible.
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: October 14, 2018, 05:01:00 PM
I wondered how Julius randle and AD would have paired because that would have mean AD would play center for sure this season and I had always supported him playing at center position compared to power forward and I think its going to be alright.

With cousins last year AD was stuck at PF for a while but as soon as cousins got injured AD got to be center again and he beasted there. Todays' centers are not slow and heavy, they are quick and they needed a defensive power there. AD can hit shots, he can dunk, he can block, he can guard, he is the best center they can find. This season will be really good for pelicans.
88  Economy / Speculation / Re: CNBC Analyst Predicts Bitcoin Price Is ‘About To Explode,’ Citing ETF Buzz on: October 14, 2018, 03:28:47 PM
We are already aware of the etf buzz, we are creating the freaking etf buzz, the trouble is we already know the etf will not be accepted, no etf in the near future will be accepted. Eventually crypto will get big enough that not accepting the etf would be a stupid option so they will agree to it however right now while we are in a stagnant market that followed a bear market before that ? Highly unlikely.

I am not saying the price will go low or anything, I think the price hit the bottom however I doubt it will skyrocket right after a etf acceptance anytime soon. It will get rejected again and the price will stay around the same.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: will tether collapse? on: October 14, 2018, 02:16:17 PM
hi guys i just wanna ask if it is still practical to hold or use tether now, because im hearing negative issues that it might collapse soon coz its centralize and can be created without backing of real USD?
I still do not understand what tether is and how it could be printed out all of a sudden into existence without any of us agreeing on that being dollar at all. I think tether is just a way exchanges makes money off us and that it, nothing more. Does it have a proper use ? Yes, it does, it definitely works great if you would like to keep your money in the exchange and not just make it into dollar to cash out but just to trade, specially for trading bots. But do we need a token for it ? Can't we just literally use dollars for it, banks do not give us any tether at all but we know we have dollars in our bank accounts, why can't the exchanges do the same ?

eventually the collapse might happen gradually or slowly to the extent that we woke up someday and suddenly tether becomes worthless. nah i dont wanna wait that when it happens, weve been warned though, so we better be prepared then and diversify our portfolio
Tether is part of your portfolio ? I just wonder for what purposes you are holding them ? I simply want to ask do you hold your fiats as part of your portfolio ? But I am not. At the same time, very much similar to fiats, I am making use of tethers and settling across exchanges has become easier for me just due to tether and I do not want it to get collapsed.
90  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Big Move Is Coming Very Soon...Up or Down? on: October 14, 2018, 03:21:47 AM
I think something big will start Oct 14 because of the simple fact that the price has no more runway. It must break the trend in either direction so my bet is up by an order of magnitude coming year.
Made my own stupid nice little prediction graph. I hate these, but why not =)
[im g]https://i.imgur.com/DyMTDIW.png[/img]
I really would not be placing any bet on the market at the moment until I start seeing a clear direction of the market and even in this case, I will always be careful for a fake breakout as the case may be as this is always the time when manipulations can actually skyrocket hugely. The market will most definitely have to break the trend in one direction and that direction is obviously what no one can actually tell and that would basically ball down on whether the bulls or the bears end up winning the fight. Your prediction graph is not stupid, it is just simply trying to observe the trend in the market and act accordingly.

Worldwide, there are many political tensions are going up and investors are already started securing their capital but for the case of cryptos it may go at any direction which is purely based on how institutional investors opt for. Because, few of them already recognized cryptos as a good alternate for gold/silver but many other yet to analyze this space Sad.
91  Economy / Speculation / Re: how about bitcoin of this year ? on: October 13, 2018, 04:58:46 PM
Bitcoin will most likely not undertake a price increase by the end of the year, it will float 6500-7000 US dollars. However, my opinion is that in order to raise the crypto market, investors should stimulate Bitcoin with their investments. He will be pulled up and the whole crypto market.
I would not expect something big this year as well considering the fact that the bears may still want to have one last chance and however the market tend to do its thing, we will just have to use the trend to judge the situation of things. We cannot really tell much, as there could still be a possibility of a little increase upward as the case may be, which is something that would obviously be glaring based on how bitcoin eventually breaks out. If we break out upward, I still may not however see much chance of seeing us go above $10000 before the end of this year somehow.

Let's just see what the trend will be telling us before the end of the year and we will know where we are actually headed next.
Yes in my opinion too, we must get ready to leave off this 2018 as it is and must be prepared for facing the next year. Like most people speculate there could be a chances of new ATH there but nothing is assured and preparing well for anything is the only option we do have all the times.
92  Other / Archival / Re: Investing in Gambling Sites on: October 13, 2018, 02:14:04 PM
Like any tips to look out for, should I risk it and do a leverage higher than 1:1 etc?
This all comes down to the same thing. How much do you trust the casino ?
If we are talking about somehow finding a way to invest into stake or primedice than I would invest all my money into it because I trust it with all my heart.

Moreover, we have seen many casinos that get screwed thru some loophole in the code and the seed which made them lose a lot of money, for example moneypot was a great website with many casinos directly attached to it however the pot was cracked and the gamblers took away a lot of money from it which resulted with investors losing a ton of money in there.

This doesn't mean moneypot is bad, it just means when there are a lot of money at stake, hackers are really into the website 7/24.
93  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dice Sites with FIAT currencies? on: October 13, 2018, 01:21:05 PM
Dice is something much more common in bitcoin because provably fair seed checking was a blockchain technology hence the satoshidice the first dice website of crypto was made based on that, since it was based on blockchain it was only logical to accept bitcoins at the time and ever since than there was never another reason to look back at the options and ever accept payments in fiat which would create huge legal troubles if you are not careful about it however when the dice websites accept crypto that is as anonymous as it gets both for gambler and casino which made it easier.

Hence, there are no fiat dice websites that matter and even if anyone tried, it apparently failed since we do not know about it.
94  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin get to $10,000 this year again? on: October 13, 2018, 08:29:49 AM
Are you guys still predicting that the price will recover back to $10k? Look at the market, it's obvious that it's impossible to hit the $10k value again or even $9k because there are many groups of whales who can control the price movement like what happened today.

However, there is a possibility that this will happen next year or after "blockhalving".

What I see on the market these days had little difference compared to the old price movement, but they still have similarities.

Take a look at this image below

[im g width=600 height=300]https://i.imgur.com/ChYmWtn.png?1[/img]

So, I think there is a big possibility that the 2014 price movement it might happen again these coming months.
Looking at this actually, it shows there is a possibility that the history might want to repeat itself again right and there could be some possibility of a failed breakout towards $8000 before the downtrend continues afterwards towards 4888.7 like you depicted on the chart.

Well, let's see how that would end up playing out actually but so far so good though, it looks like a lot of what happened 2014 has repeated itself on the chart again and that makes me wonder if this is just some bots at work, trying to repeat the same process over and over again. Time will tell! However, there is something with the date of your 2018 actually that makes me think this is already a point where we have passed.
95  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin reach atleast $10,000 ? on: October 13, 2018, 07:04:38 AM
for short term i think botcoin is gonna go down temporarily provided the fud the bad news and all the negatives stuff, bit to think long term like 5 to 10 years bitcoin is gonna be big just like what happened to the .com bubble the amazon, google etc when they started they so volatile they price jumps 80 to 90% up and down.
That depends on how low you are actually talking about right now, but we have been imprinting some higher highs for the meantime now which could possibly bring about some bullish growth eventually or bearish as the case may be, depending on the direction it tend towards. Now is not a time we really can tell actually how all these would play out knowing that however the market decides to play it, can only be known with time. If we can see a break out upwards, the chances of actually seeing the market try to test the $10k spot may be there, but nothing to be too excited about at the moment.

Due to the situation of the market, it is impossible when the price of Bitcoin will reach 10000$. Due to anytime decline in the market makes us think in a different way, which Bitcoin will not cross more than 8000$ this year.
Nothing is impossible right now, and we are still possibly inside a triangle and the possibility of seeing this triangle thing playing out till almost towards the end of October is huge at the moment. The bears and the bulls right now are still in a fight and trying to bring about the direction that would please them, so it is whoever the best man is that would end up winning this fight but at the moment, the chances of bitcoin hitting $10k or not, will be known with time, and there is no one that can categorically say if anything is possible or not, with the fact that it is a market and all that matters is trend and time.
96  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price: Wait for Clear Bull Trend before Buying More Cryptocurrency on: October 12, 2018, 06:52:05 PM
That is actually one right thing to do than to be trying to pick the pieces while thinking you have picked the bottom but at the end of the day though, it all depends on each person's strategy.

Yes, it is a good thing to wait for a clear bull run, but the fact remains that a lot of the coins have actually ended up in their bottom at the moment and pretty much consolidating. It is a volatile market though and no one knows how well the market would hit the bottom further, but one thing actually at this point is that we have plenty easy buy for the altcoins. However, since we are talking bitcoin here, I would say being in a triangle and moving sideways, it is actually a very good step at this moment than rushing into the market which can be pretty risky.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: CryptoCurrencies around the GLOBE on: October 12, 2018, 12:02:17 PM
i do believe that it is increasing because now a days people are using technology. Multimedia has greatly influenced people in today's generation. That's why crytocurrency is now an apple of the eye of those aspiring investors.
Yes, even despite the fact that the cryptocurrency space has really been dealt with a huge bloodbath this year, I must say that the space is still growing with adoption gradually. Countries, government, individuals are all trying to not miss out on the part where they have to be an early adopter and so many smart ones who understand the benefit and the importance of this space in the long run are actually seeing a chance to accumulate right now as only those who are just so keen about seeing the negative sides to everything but wanting to get rich quick at the same time, are the ones chickening out.

if the person or community has a dedication to know the real importants of cryptocurrencies i think the crypto become most popular like bitcoin and many more coins that accepting in bank and partnership .
We must give time for them to develop that dedication on their own. This digital life definitely will demand for online currencies and decentralization concepts may attract anyone who value their freedom and rights. Hence, we can expect the entire globe to adopt bitcoins but at their own pace.
98  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this the correct time to purchase bitcoins and al-crypto? on: October 12, 2018, 08:21:55 AM
This is definitely a good time to buy Bitcoin. I believe that in this October, its price and the market will be pumped strong. Capitalization can reach $ 300 billion. Because many professional traders have always responded to me. The market has sideway so long, it's time to recover.
It has always been a good time to buy bitcoin, the problem is just the people as they tend to not want to think how they can actually take advantage of the moment and buy the dips but instead get scared of it.

The tight spot we have been moving in for a while now actually breaks lower and we have seen a quick downward movement afterwards, but as far as I am concerned, it is better to always buy the dips and thank your stars later for taking that bold step because one way or the other, the weak hands are always the ones who are going to be left out and as long as you are able to hold on to your dear life and knowing the potential that lies ahead as the market will most definitely recovery then you will know what to always do.
99  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbetting on: October 12, 2018, 06:38:15 AM
Sports betting is easy than every gambling online and offline. In most sports betting no experience and skills required. You just select your favorite team and bet on it. if your team wins you will get the money, if your team loses you will also lose the bet. I often put money in sports betting because I have no experience of other gambling's and I don’t want to lose my money.
Sports betting is not actually that easy as you have mentioned as there are so many things you will always need to put into consideration asides luck when it comes to betting on sports, with the most of it being your familiarity with that sports environment and how much you know to be able to analyze and know the possibility of winnings and so on based on team or opponents.

Many people take sport betting just like normal gambling but there is more to it than that. All the same, at the end, it still all balls down to luck, because whichever way, depending solely on what you know sometimes and not facing reality that everything is still all about luck, can end up backfiring.
100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sometimes enough is enough on: October 11, 2018, 07:44:47 PM
Online gambling has increased addiction very rapidly.  It's easier then ever to jump out of bed, go on yourlatop and place a few bets.  I have a few friends that are heavy gambling addicts and they all ended up in debt and had their lives ruined.  I'm not completely against gambling but lets not forget how dark it can be.
It usually turns out that way for those who have gotten engrossed into it and has found a soft spot for it rather than getting to do something tangible with their lives. How it starts is that, they pay so much attention to it because they believe in the potential of gambling to make them rich, as I do not believe anyone who ends up becoming an addict after going long hours daily is not someone who ended up having such a mindset of getting wealthy from gambling.

It is that mindset that actually make gamblers turn out to be who they are eventually and that is something everyone should always be cautious of, and be ready to know that this is a game of luck and being able to say enough is enough at any point in time is something they want to inculcate into their lifestyle before things end up getting out of hand.
