81  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do you have bitcoins and what is your strategy? on: September 15, 2014, 03:31:18 PM
I have Bitcoins because I mined them in 2011-2012 plus a few other things I did to collect them. My strategy is to sell them all when the value reaches $2.5 million. They need to reach at least $1,310 each and the then current transaction volume needs to be high enough for me not to effect the market price during the sale (although I could do it slowly over a few weeks if the price stays relatively stable).
Why would you sell all of your BTC for FIAT money that will be worth peanuts in the next decades?

why do you think FIAT will worth peanuts in the next decade?
if you cant prove your arguement, you're just another lame person brainwashed by unreasonable bitcoin lunatics.

Huh, do you even geopolitics? The EUR and USA debt will never be paid. What happens when a country can't pay their debts? Something very bad. My prediction: CNY and in general asia going up, EUR and USD devaluation continues as they keep printing magic magic money and trying to save it with ridiculous patches.
People will start to fear this and they'll start moving money in metals and the wise and young people in Bitcoin.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: American dollar climbs most in 10 months while Bitcoin stagnates on: September 15, 2014, 03:28:31 PM
The fiat dollar is going down long term while btc is going up down term, this is unavoidable math and not subjected to interpretation, im just telling it like it is given the current situation with the fiat magic making money scam.

84  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2014: The Worst Year for BTC? on: September 15, 2014, 02:53:47 PM
Guys guys... 2014 isnt over yet.. So chill.
Exactly. Will be fun to look back at this thread during XMAS when we are far up from 400 territory. Saying BTC was at its worst in 2014 without seeing the entire year conclude is underrating BTC's potential.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We could position Bitcoin as a currency for Kids on: September 15, 2014, 02:48:00 PM
Hear me out, it's just an idea... (continuation from this)

Inspiration: https://usbank.visabuxx.com/

Kids i.e. ~13-18 year olds. Old enough to want to spend money online, too young for their own credit card.

Some parents want to give their kids a way to spend a small amount of money online without giving them a credit card or debit card. Bitcoin is:

  • completely anonymous (read: safe)
  • has strict spending limits (can't spend more then you have)
  • has no monthly fees
  • is accepted at (some) online merchandisers (parents might like the idea that it's limited).[/b]
Kids can spend money securely through a program on their computer (maybe a dumbed down version of electrum).

Kids can buy the latest humble bundle for example without having to ask their parents.

It makes since that you have to convert money into kid money. It doesn't make since (for the average person) to buy bitcoins to shop at newegg. You could have just used your credit card and skipped a step and saved time.

I know this might propigate a bad image for Bitcoin (i.e. it's kid money) but I don't think that would kill it.

-> Remember kids grow up. <-

Sure,

That list being what exactly?

-Porn
-Guns
-Silkroad (whatever current version)
-Drugs
-BTC Mining Equipment
-Their favorite terrorist organization

Maybe I am wrong but I do not think too many parents not deeply immersed in crypto have a high opinion of it, that being if they've heard of it in the first place.

Every kid and their brother is watching HD 1080p porn on their smartphones for free these days, the rest can be bought with CASH already. Lol@you.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / List of things that could stop Bitcoin on: September 15, 2014, 02:45:55 PM
SIKE! Nothing can stop Bitcoin.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So with Russia puffing out it's chest... on: September 15, 2014, 02:22:58 PM
They are making a big mistake, there is no better way to make something popular than by banning it or telling people they cannot have it.

I remember back in the day when I was a teenager. Pink Floyd's The Wall album was banned and guess what? Every second kid had a copy of it. Bitcoin will go the same way, they cannot stop it.

Exactly, thats what I mean. Reverse psychology. Thank you Mr Putin for making BTC popular among the people of the future (young people that will suffer the consequences of magic FIAT money crash)
88  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Random 0.00001 BTC from Laxo Trade? on: September 15, 2014, 02:21:25 PM
Is there a way in Bitcoin QT to disable recieving super small transactions if you want? Or something that we can do to avoid being flooded with silly small transactions.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Choices for earning BTC interest on: September 15, 2014, 02:20:17 PM
Still not convinced, but still want to find a way to create money with 0 effort like rich cunts do. Any ideas?
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if someone claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto? on: September 15, 2014, 01:24:00 PM
If someone pushes it too far with the identity suplantation im pretty sure that Satoshi himself will come back and make a post about it (unless he is dead obviously ...)
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IBM's proposal using Bitcoin block chain! on: September 15, 2014, 01:18:22 PM
Quote
Combine Bitcoin’s block chain technology, BitTorrent and a secure messaging protocol called telehash and you get a distributed infrastructure that some IBM researchers think would be ideal for the internet of things.

https://gigaom.com/2014/09/09/check-out-ibms-proposal-for-an-internet-of-things-architecture-using-bitcoins-block-chain-tech/

Be assured, that IBM, whose 80% revenue comes off licensing, wont ever do anything to help a open source project. They are the bank of tech world. Unable to compete with the pace of open source world they are now trying to lure us, but not getting involved into it. Another instance is SAP opening up Hana to lure open source devs. We DONT need them. They need us...

Amen \m/

Yeah, can't trust the IBM guys, they have 0 morals and 0 long term views. Just look at the ridiculous quotes about personal computers and the internet these idiots spit back in the day. Now they are seen as the biggest laughin stocks. You can't trust anyone that isn't releasing in a open sourced way themselves.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So with Russia puffing out it's chest... on: September 15, 2014, 01:16:45 PM
All these banning treats are amusing. It would only attract more people because banned things are seen as more fascinating. What an idiot logic to try to ban BTC. When the fiat crash happens people will realize why they banned it.
93  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you daydream about? on: September 15, 2014, 01:14:22 PM
Being rich enough to do whatever I want 24/7 instead of feeling suicidal. If I dont get rich in 10 years im killing myself.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Serious Altcoin Discussion/News Thread - No FUD, Shilling or Trolling. on: September 15, 2014, 01:09:05 PM
Such a thread was needed. Basically the entire alt coin board has become a fudshilltrollfest that never ends. No actual information whatsoever.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Poll] What anonymous coin will succed? on: September 15, 2014, 12:58:17 PM
Can't vote for but it's XMR! Smiley

What is XMR? Never heard about it.

Yeah it's a very discreet coin. You'll hardly find any thread on this forum about it and its community has made some sort of vow of silence. Good luck finding infos.

You make it sound as if its some underground shit when it isnt. You can simply go to the monero IRC channel and ask the devs themselves anything. Fluffy is a very nice guy and will answer any doubts.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero is a hedge to Bitcoin. on: September 15, 2014, 12:56:33 PM
Monero a hedge to Bicoin LOL

Monero is a scam coin piece of shit and nothing more.

The OP has so much faith and belief in XMR he post under a one day old newbie account.

If you have so much faith in this piece of shit, use your real account.

Unless your primary account instills less faith than this one.

~BCX~

Just lol. Monero is one of the few legit alt coins. Have fun when you actually see necessity in moving money totally anonymously and not even Bitcoin can do the job because we are under heavy surveliance, i'll moving my pennies in Monero then.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Litecoin Prosper? on: September 15, 2014, 12:50:02 PM
No one woulda given a fuck about LTC if it wasn't for the google guy being the dev, that was the big hopes of big price. If Mr Crypto Mc Curry released Litecoin no one would have cared. Sure, more than nowadays in this shit hole hell of altcoins, but the point still stands. People is realizing most alts are unnecessary.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Official "repitela is a nazi asshole douchebag turd thread" on: September 15, 2014, 12:32:25 PM
I asked you once your history, how did you became rich? specifically, step by step, no bullshit.

It takes a long time to tell, and to be useful for the reader, requires a mindset of appreciation (open mind).

Until so far, I haven't felt that giving this information out for free in the forums (any more than what I do already in my posting, often enough to be an object of hate) is the priority or even a smart thing.

By the way I did make a list of at least 10 bulletpoints just when we talked about the matter in my Wall Observer. It is there, you could find it and link it here for reference that I have been quite open about it.

How I am not open minded? I just have made an observation: Whenever someone gets legit rich (as in a lot of money) and I ask them to tell me about it, theres always a BIG element of luck that was outside the person's control. They often like to downplay this or even totally deny any luck when they tell their "how did I get rich" stories because then the story becomes less interesting. I wanted to see if your story would be different but you avoided getting into detail with it.
99  Economy / Economics / Re: Has anyone made a comfortable living only investing in crypto trends? on: September 15, 2014, 12:28:42 PM
My only goal is to escape the rat race. I Need to become self sustainable using as little energy as possible, to not end up killing myself.
100  Economy / Economics / Re: Easiest way to make BTC? on: September 15, 2014, 12:26:31 PM
Signature campaings are the only way to go. Every other way is simply a waste of time.
