81  Economy / Gambling / Re: Battlecoin.org - Multiplayer bomberman clone on: January 21, 2016, 02:00:46 PM
Hey ppl, a sad anouncement today, I decided to halt the development of battlecoin and get a dayjob, I'm too poor and website is not earning enough yet, and searching for investors seems like a very slow route.

will get back to it, and work on it when I catch time, but won't have the time to work on it full time even though I really love this project.

I haven't learned about your site until now, and I really like it a lot. It is a sad news that you don't get much profit from it and have to stop working on it full time, but I can totally understand and respect your decision. Good luck to you and your site.
82  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on the Oscars on: January 21, 2016, 01:52:40 PM
There is still over a month to go, so there is no need to rush to make a bet at this early stage. I will probably make some bets after seeing who has won the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
83  Economy / Gambling / Re: With your gambling, do you binge or prolong the spending of your funds? on: January 21, 2016, 01:44:21 PM
Hey bitcointalk, as the title reads, do you binge (save up your bankroll and gamble it all once you have alot) your funds, or do you slowly gamble, say a 10 dollars a day?

I personally binge Cheesy

I guess I am in the second category. I don't make huge bets but only risk 0.01 - 0.05 btc for fun on each of my sports bets.
84  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Website on: January 21, 2016, 01:36:26 PM
Creating and promoting a gambling site is not easy. You need to first code it, which will cost you a lot of time and money (you may buy a premade script but it would be hard for you to attract players with it). You need to promote it, which again costs you time and money. You'd better think very carefully if you are able to and want to do this.
85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prediction ligue 1, france football ligue on: January 21, 2016, 01:25:20 PM
AC Ajaccio is just a bottom team in Ligue 2 and should not be able to compete with Saint-Etienne. Saint Etienne ML @ 1.568 looks safe to me.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spanish League Prediction Thread (La Liga) on: January 21, 2016, 01:17:30 PM
Valencia got a 1-1 draw against Las Palmas in La Liga in Nov, so I think Las Palmas could perhaps get a draw again. Las Palmas +1 @ 1.877 looks great to me.
87  Economy / Gambling / Re: What makes PrimeDice the best? Or one of them? on: January 21, 2016, 01:04:41 PM
primedice is more popular because came early, as bitcoin came earlier than other coin

Very true. IIRC, PD, PRC and JD are the first 3 sites offering offchain dice game and all 3 of them are successful and widely trusted.
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever won a prize in Freebitco.in Lottery? If yes, how much? on: January 21, 2016, 12:54:16 PM
I never won any lottery on freebitco.in but now this faucet website is almost dead and nobody even uses it. A friend of mine had won about $1-$2 in the lottery but I still miss using this faucet website as it was one of the first ones I ever used and they used to pay instantly.

According to the graphs shown on https://freebitco.in/?op=stats, the faucet site actually is getting 4,500 new signups every day.
89  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice Stats - Playing on Better Bets off Moneypot on: January 21, 2016, 12:43:28 PM
Your Statistics
Bets taken - 3760
Bets won - 1882
Total wager - 0.31523283
Total profit - 0.03364991
Win Chance - 50.0532%

I like my strategy but not sure if it will sustain, however, i havent increased my starting wager with the system and have stop lossed myself a time or two already.

why don't you let us know your strategy and we could tell you why your strategy is not good and will fail

Heh. I think we already know the answer. The house edge will get him. Maybe the next few bets, maybe not, but something will happen.

Call me a psychic.

You don't need to be a psychic lol. Just check post #38 by OP and you will see he has "lost half on a diff dice site".
90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lets try to make 1.5 BTC from 0.013 *Social Experiment is on* on: January 21, 2016, 12:36:26 PM
5. 70% for you. 30% for me.

Regarding this part, are you taking 30% of the profit as commission or are you taking 30% of the total pool? Your example seems to indicate it is the former one, but I want to make sure I don't misunderstand it.
Edit: typo
91  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 18, 2016, 03:47:25 PM
Swansea is in a very bad form but at the same time they have the home advantage today, so I am not going to predict the winner of the match today. Instead I will do a bet on over 2 goals @ 1.715.
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spanish League Prediction Thread (La Liga) on: January 18, 2016, 03:43:35 PM
For today, I would do a parlay on Real Madrid ML and Atletico Madrid ML @ 1.746.

Both the two Madrid teams have won yesterday as expected.  For today, Eibar ML @ 1.808 looks like a good bet to me.
93  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your gambling stats? on: January 18, 2016, 03:40:57 PM
With a few giveaways included, I am actually getting a small 0.2+ btc profit from various gambling sites and sportsbooks.

95  Economy / Gambling / Re: Who will be the English Premier League top scorer this year? on: January 18, 2016, 03:28:24 PM
My pick would be Giroud. He has been class all year long, and with this fantastic football, Arsenal is playing really good football lately.

I also think Giroud could be the top scorer this season. Not only that he is playing well, Ozil has also been doing excellent in creating goal scoring chances for Arsenal.
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: January 17, 2016, 07:03:09 AM
Start slowly. Keep a separate wallet and limit the amount you want to gamble.
You can then slowly decrease the amount to gamble.
I think it won't working, it will even make you more addicted to gambling.
My suggestion is, bet all of the money you have to a gambling site and then if you lose you will never gamble anymore. Otherwise if you win, you will be rich and get some real business with your winning money

are u f***king kidding me? do u even dare to try your own way? who will be stupid enough to burn the whole all their money at once? and if that happens, no guarantee for stop gambling, at losing case, there are loans everywhere ones can grab and throw to gamble once again, and with winning case, greed may not let u stop, and fed the gamble addiction a big win like that just make it grow dramatically.

So in order to stop yourself from gambling away your money, you could make an all in bet to lose all your money in the first place? Sounds like a plan lol    / sarcasm
97  Economy / Gambling / Re: FastDice.com LAUNCHED | Fast Rolls | Fast Deposits | Fast Wins |Daily Happy Hour on: January 17, 2016, 06:29:35 AM
in my opinion it is fine if the owner is playing at his own casino as long it is provably fair. if he is lucky he will win and if no the will lose easy as that. if he wants to cheat he could use another user name.

good luck owner Smiley

That's true. If he wants to cheat, he wouldn't even tell us he has bet and has a big profit on it. Plus the site doesn't take investment so it doesn't affect us the players.

As far as the term "Cheat"   Feel free to back that up. There is no gain or loss for me sharing my stats. I am giving info for entertainment value. Feel free to read it or not!!!

I don't think you have understood my post or elm's post correctly. Please scroll back up to read them once again. I am not saying you cheat, and I don't think elm's post suggested that either. What we were saying is pretty much the opposite, that since you are telling us about your profit publicly, it is very unlikely you have cheated.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: January 17, 2016, 06:23:15 AM
Even with strategy you lose fair enough all. The rolling of 15 bad or other crazy rolling but people keep talking about fair so when you always lose all that was fair as hell.

The fairness of a game is not based on whether you have won or lost, but how the game works and how the result is determined. In a provably fair game, the site cannot rig the result secretly and you cannot blame a site as unfair if you were just unlucky.
99  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is your daily bankroll limit? on: January 17, 2016, 06:12:13 AM
I usually bet only 0.01 btc on each of my sports bets, and I usually make 10 bets or less a week, so my limit would be around 0.1 btc a week.
100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: January 17, 2016, 05:57:45 AM
For how many times are you guys planning to repeat the simple answer "you can make a large profit if you are lucky" lol? I have seen it mentioned over 10 times in just the last few pages, and it probably has been mentioned hundreds of time in the whole thread...
