I followed the instructions under the s3 section and putty cant find file on the server that i enter? I even copied and pasted to make sure there was no errors 🤯 |

hi guys i have a very odd problem when i try to access kano.is or kano.space with my 4g router get this This site can’t be reached www.kano.is unexpectedly closed the connection. Try: Checking the connection Checking the proxy and the firewall Running Windows Network Diagnostics ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED but i can access it using my home network any ideas? its really annoying me lol |

In an effort to please Karma and the Anime Goddesses, I would like to offer one S9's hashpower to a 'smaller miner' in Kano community, for the duration of one week.
This is not a promotional thing and I have nothing to gain from it. Why do I want to do this? Why not..?!
Unless Kano disagrees with this, for some reason, here are the conditions.
- You must be already mining on Kano with a combined hashpower below 10THs (on the Pool Stats page).
- Send me a direct message with your user name, if you qualify and wish to participate. Do not reply to this with your user name, as we don't want to flood the forum, unless it is for a general comment.
- I will randomly draw one qualifying user tomorrow Monday midnight CET. I will then announce the '

I updated some old miners with the kano firmware in the status bar it says

Should the voltage value be 0x0000?
Whats the kano firmware 🤯 This for antminers? Yea kano make some firmware for antminers really lowered the load on the miner by a good factor the HW errors are much lower than standard tested against standard s3 there is decent improvements. https://bitbucket.org/TheKano/cgminer-binaries/srcsmashing thanks will look to c if theres s1 and s3 firmware |

What do you guys think of the antminer r4? Thinking about buying two from usa (im uk) and running them on kano pool Is it worth the investment? I know s9 will have a better watt/th ratio but these will be run at home were i have to pay electric My other miners i run at work were i dont pay Also do u guys know any reputable company's that stock the r4 and ship uk? My biggest problem is the import tax  I would stay away from the R4. I have two of them and both lost 1 board. One after a few hours and one after 6 months. Unless you just want a space heater, or they are super cheap, I would buy something else. thank you will consider an s9 then or shall i wait till maybe something newer comes out? |

My biggest problem is the import tax depends on your circuit breaker config at home. 1x S9 draws 12A at 110V or 6.2A at 220V which gives you 13.5TH 1x R4 draws 7.7A at 110V or 3.9A at 220V which gives you 8TH S9 is the most efficient miner ... so if you have the amperage availability - S9 is the choice. (noise & consumption aside). Especially since S9 prices have stabilized recently. If you have power outlet limitations from a current perspective, then R4 is feasible. Just note you are sacrificing efficiency & cost, for convenience of fitting in with your home breaker config. 220v mate |

You can make Frequency 550 on the Settings.
You will got 660 Mh
Was thinking about oc but need read more about it to c reliability ect I know you get a lot more hw errors I think inwill oc my sp20 first as that runs really cool so there should be loads of room for oc lol |

I accessed my miner using my iphone
But once i logged into my miner using my laptop its showing just fine
Mining pool still shoing 440mgs but i assume as long as my miner is showing 500mhs then its all good?

hi my antminer has just developed a fault i think It says its mining at 500mh but in my pool its mining around 446mhs Usually i wouldnt worry but i checked my miner and i im missing some 0000 which means missing chips? I turned off miner Unplugged and re plugged the power ect same probem Psu is a binmain apw3++ I do have a spare apw3++ so might try changing them round later Should i be worried? is there any difference between kano.is ( which is were my miners r now mining) and ckpool?
after reading on the internet I wanted to mine on kano pool but only site that I could find at the time is ckpool
now I found this topic I'm mining on kano.is
my hardware is
spondoolies sp20 running at 1.5th
antminer s3
antminer s1 ( offline atm)
rockminer new r-box 130ghz
bought them real cheap and got free power plus doing this for fun lol
hope to buy an s9 soon
is there any point me even mining on this pool with my miners
I have set up an account and each miner has its own worker name

Welcome aboard! Right off the bat, you sound like a great candidate for this pool since you've got more than enough hashpower to stay out of "dust payment" territory (see previous few pages), you've got a great power supply situation, and it doesn't sound like you're expecting to rely on small, daily payouts. Mine on, and see my sig for a few tips. EDIT: Oh, yeah, and KanoPool is synonymous with CKPool. Yes i read about the dust payment I assume i will be rewarded with something ( not expecting much lol) when a block is found? Last block been found 25h ago is that correct? I dont care about short term payment, long term is good with me Im mining ltc so thats my short term money lol |

Kanopool and CKpool are two different pools, with two different pool admins. It should be noted that the 'k' in ckpool software is indeed our own esteemed kano. 'c' is the other guy.
