Lmfao....the guy curses at the start Yes. In a jovial manner Hardly makes a good impression. If he can't refrain from cursing when creating a video to promote his ICO then how is he going to handle himself in important business decisions? Perhaps I'm being a little harsh. Did you see the video? I think it added a tinge of humor

After hearing about different ICOs and going through some ideas and websites, I have chosen 3 ICOs which I also think are a bit common. They all do things that connect people around the world and improve the adoption of cryptocurrency into regular usage.
1. EXPERTY
2. ENKIDU
3. RIGHTMESH
I am more of a speculator than investor as I had like to take my time with things like this. What do you think of them? Any competitors in the space? Do enlighten me.

Guys, The Bounty Program of Enkidu is live. As a bounty reward, 7,000,000 ENK will be distributed. ENK tokens will be received on completion of bounty tasks. The campaign will be running until the ICO ends on May 4 or if the ICO sells all tokens prior to that date, whichever occurs first. With all the ICO scams going on and with many of them setting unrealistic goals, having unidentified usage of the tokens and anonymous developers, I want to come out in the open and be available for questions.
Went to the website. Nice design. The voice is in the videos is burred. For the purpose of AMA, who are your competitors in this space?

Well OP should also include VLB token as one of your watchlist ICO , this project is realistic, its co founder is a trusted professional, its platform is based on real world. This is how you should choose ICO project. Check and review white paper this project is a champ. http://vlb.io. I looked at their whitepaper and I think you are right about this project being realistic. Will make another list which will include this. Thanks

Guys, after carefully studying upcoming ICOs, I've got a list of ICOs for March that you could invest in: 1) Enkidu - https://enkidu.io/ - It's a platform for people who wish to collaborate with other people across the globe without going through the hassle of legal documents. They are actually making good use of blockchain technology. Their website, whitepaper, team, concept, advisory board, etc look good. It probably has a lot of potentials. 2) Kelta - https://kelta.com/ - It's a decentralized datacenter for scientific and abnormally large calculations. They wish to make computing power easily accessible. They use liquid cooling tech to boost efficiency. Seems cool. 3) Kripton - https://kriptonofafrica.com/ - It's a microloan platform for people who wish to start their business or anything. First ever crypto loan platform in Africa. Do check it out. These are worth it.

There isn't a sure shot way of knowing whether an ICO is legit or not. But you can definitely follow these things: 1) See if they have a nice and technically sound whitepaper. Whitepaper says a lot about an ICO. 2) Do a background check on the team. If they aren't visible on the internet, they have things to hide. 3) If an ICO has unrealistic expectations out of their token offerings, it means they haven't done their research properly. Shows a lack of dedication and planning. 4) See the advisory board. Big people means good ICO. No big shot advisor would want to be seen as a scammer. For example, a new ICO is coming up. I stumbled upon them through some site. These guys are trying to make good use of blockchain. If you look at their site, it's clean and clear. Their whitepaper is very descriptive. Also, all the founders can be found on the net. It's a good initiative. Check 'em out here - http://enkidu.io/

Any age where they can start to understand things like these. Cryptos are just currencies. If they can understand money and how the internet works, they are good to go. Although teaching about Blockchain technology to kids who have no experience in programming or cryptography will be difficult. So, it depends. If your kid's a genius, they probably might start their own crypto.

Not really. Bitcoin has seen its fair share of fluctuations. The reason it increased in price in 2017 was due to the popularity it gained among the people. Given the constant rejection from the major governments of this world, the entire crytoworld is stumbling. Unless a stamped order is given stating crytocurrency is officially illegal, it's highly unlikely bitcoin will not recover. So, stay calm and just way.

|
You don't know how money works. None of us do. We were born and were taught that money helps you survive. But it was never taught to us how money actually functions. Why certain price fluctuations happen. Why there is a difference in countries' currencies. Which transactions are legal and which are not. Is someone faking a transaction. All of this is not in the open. But with Bitcoin, everything is out in the open. There are no central bodies in control of money and finance. Everybody knows what happens with your money. No cheating, lying or manipulating. Financial freedom.
That's the difference.

|
|
Bitcoin wasn't necessary. It's a coin and people have put a price on it to exchange stuff online. Because it is not monitored by a central body, the popularity increased among internet users. This then caused a chain of events and the price of bitcoin increased, opening trading options. Right now, many bitcoin hodlers are only in for the money. Blockchain, on the other hand, is a very powerful technology. It has a lot of applications. Check out different altcoins and you'll see how they've adopted blockchain tech.

In my opinion, it's not good for a coin that its CEO is the face of this coin so much. With other coins, you rarely know who is the CEO, and you don't need to. Bringing the CEO this much to the forefront is taking away from the coin's popularity.
Yes, all the other coins have technology that is backing them up. But Tron has its CEO's popularity backing it. I believe this is because Justin wants to get a lot of people invested in the coin so it becomes easier to scale the technology, like bringing top devs from other companies. Just my opinion, but yea, it could potentially make a lot of money for people who have invested in it.

CEO of coins shouldn't be that much involved to and project's price. And yes their whitepaper also copied and most probably Justin Sun sold lots of TRX on exchanges. Only the good thing about TRX is they have good idea and they have good pumpers. That's all
I understand what you are saying. Don't you think all the companies partnering up with Tron would have smelled something fishy if it were true? I mean, they got a developer from Alibaba onboard. Also, the future deals Justin keeps posting on his Twitter. Something is still good about it, I guess.

Tron wants to change the entertainment industry. It will serve the purpose of forming a decentralised content entertainment system (so the website says). I haven't read the whitepaper but I was going through Justin Sun's twitter feed and his history. He seems to have a lot of influence in the market. Being a 30 under 30 on the Forbes list is an amazing achievement. I believe he has the influence to push the coin ahead. As far as the rumors about the whitepaper, he says that because of bad translation many concepts have not been clearly mentioned in the English version. There is a guy on reddit who apparently read the whitepaper word for word. Here is the link - https://www.reddit.com/r/Tronix/comments/7ovwyu/my_analysis_of_the_tron_whitepaper_v17/It looks promising, as far as my conclusion is. Thanks for the info. I'll see what the guy on reddit has to say.

Does tron have good technology behind it? I mean, recently it was rumoured that its whitepaper was copied. Insipte of the rumours it is still rising. Can someone tell me about its true colors? Also, is it good for long-term hodling?
