81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People still falls for Bitcoin doubling scheme and fake giveaways on: July 18, 2020, 07:32:00 AM
it is greed that makes people always hit by traps like this. however, people will be interested in a system that makes them get a quick profit in a short time, especially if it has great confidence. to be honest, on the internet, there are so many things like that, even scammers also do massive advertising.
I reminded when a phishing website impersonating online wallet website making some advertisements in Google Adwords. They have the guts to do the advertisement because they know that they will get something in return and maybe the stats of people that have been scammed significantly higher than what's recorded.
Scam will always exist but if we could reduce it to the point where it's almost nonexistent, that'd be great but that's just some empty words because there's no real effective method of getting rid these scammers.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Card Launches in Europe on: July 17, 2020, 07:41:23 AM
Binance everywhere, hope we are not going into centralization in a decentralized revolution? Time will tell and I am expecting institution to come up and join this revolution and makes things more competitive.
Unfortunately binance has always actively making innovation and that's the fact. Other exchange might be doing the same thing but binance always stealing the spotlight. competition is always welcome because it gives us more advantages but until now very few it seems that come close to binance but in my opinion the crypto is not always focused on binance alone its just that binance maybe have good promotion team lol.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promising low market cap altcoins on: July 17, 2020, 07:35:13 AM
Low marketcap coins are risky but they can be more profitable than top altcoins in the market, they need good analysis to figure out which projects use case will work out better, right now I only have Ferrum, Lukso and Cartesi in mind
I don’t understand why people think that Cartesi is a promising project. they have nothing interesting that could help the world of cryptocurrencies in its development. when I opened the project website first time, after listing on Binance, I was surprised.
Well maybe in your opinion it's not that useful but for other people it might be very useful, as the saying goes one man's trash is another man's treasure and the fact that they could reach 190% ROI is because people might find the use of this project or other people think that this project is worth more than its initial price.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get robbed by something you don't fully understand on: July 17, 2020, 07:22:23 AM
The problem doesn't like in the fact that etc 20 tokens cannot be backed by real gold. We have sent gold ETF funds selling  but the problem is whether you believe if the team members are really buying physical gold .
If you doubt a team, then you are welcome not to follow it, because in crypto you are not required to follow someone just out of doubt, but follow people who make you feel confident in them, each support has a specific foundation to support and so does otherwise.
doesnt matter whether he's like following it or not but when there's indication that something is shady I think it's always better to expose it rather than just sitting silent. community's concern regarding exposing the real truth behind a project should always be welcomed because that means they are saving some people from potential scam.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fiat vs Crypto in money laundering on: July 16, 2020, 01:13:30 PM
I just want to share a short prove showing that Fiat is been used more in money laundering schemes than crypto and if people attacks you with crypto's being used to launder money. ...

This is not surprising. Fiat has a much larger volume than the crypto market as a whole. In addition, Fiat has long been used for money laundering and this familiar scheme will not soon be replaced by cryptocurrency. Also, it remains difficult for many to use cryptocurrency for these purposes, if you can do it very simply with Fiat.
Still, there's reason why these fiat money launderer didnt switch to cryptocurrency because it's difficult for them to do so. Most of crypto based company always ask for identity and that's already an end for those who want to launder money. I'm sure crypto is not ideal for money laundering and that's why we should keep the stigma regarding crypto being used for criminal away because that's not true.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BINANCE,GEMINI,CZ,COINBASE TWITTER IS HACKED!! on: July 16, 2020, 12:31:53 PM
It looks like the hackers have raised 0.65 BTC so far!

P.S. This is coming from a shared FB post. Someone asked him to give the exact blockchain address to track it, but replied that he needs to scan the code to see the ongoing activity. Or you can type this address manually.
Some people said it is more than that and approximately 12 BTC if iam not mistaken and already moved to another address. it's actually quite silly how people could easily believe something thats floating around internet without making some research or contacting the person for clarification. so many btcs wasted for nothing.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fiat vs Crypto in money laundering on: July 16, 2020, 09:40:00 AM

Of course, Fiat is in every corner of this world so I expect Fiat to be the best choice for money laundering and other illegal activities more than what we can find in crypto space crime, not everyone embrace crypto yet as we all know it, there are over billions of people who aren't using crypto yet
I think money laundering with Crypto is difficult, because the Blockchain system can be traced so that criminals have to think about what to do. Although later Crypto users are same as Fiat users, but I'm not sure money laundering will be same as in the article given by OP.
It's difficult and it's true, but there's always a way. some scammers are yet to be caught until now because maybe they know they way and we still cant figure out how they hide the money they got from scamming but fiat certainly easy for money laundering just move from an individual to another individual and no one knows and fiat has always been used for many bad things aswell compared to crypto.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto mass adoption closing in on: July 15, 2020, 12:52:10 PM
Many big companies and various sectors see the progress of cryptocurrencies and their technologies and they understand that it is urgent to start working with cryptocurrencies to get incredible profit and new opportunities, and therefore companies like PayPal are starting to adapt in the cryptocurrency field.
I think it's because our society slowly switching from traditional money to cashless and more people are understanding cryptocurrency. it will surely bring a huge benefit for getting away from traditional money and advance our technology. im sure paypal seeing huge opportunity and now developing their own service because getting late in the game is not good thing.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Bad Exchanges on: July 15, 2020, 09:58:45 AM
I'm just trying to do my part, I know many won't care and some don't even bother to read anymore, they are just here for bounties, here is for those who cares about reading and learning.

Stay away from the following exchanges, I have bad experience with them already and I can still see few people getting caught in same trap

1. Vindax
2. Systemkoin
3. P2PB2B
4. Latoken

Not just for fake volumes and watched trade but scams, lose of funds, swapping of withdrawal addresses, you name it, have a great day
Bitforex and Exmarket exchange aren't left out, they have poor customer services and bad trading volumes too, some new projects still lists on these exchanges anyway maybe because of cheap listing fee?
cheap listing fee or probably even lighter requirement which is dividing the profit made from fundraise, yes I'm talking about profit thats they gonna get from the project whether in form of money or token. the new projects have no other choice of exchange because maybe their projects arent that good and hardly approved by popular exchange.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto mass adoption closing in on: July 15, 2020, 09:45:02 AM
Finally the world is aware that crypto has many usages, there are many other implementation of crypto such as to track the authenticity of goods and property and many more. It will be great if paypal really developing crypto service and even better if it got integrated with paypal
Imagine how convenient it will be when to make a transaction in the internet what you need is just a crypto

92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget bounties and Airdrops on: July 13, 2020, 12:42:07 PM
Doing now bounties and airdrops its not profit as like 2017. But, the task is very easy. I think doing bounties and airdrop is way easier. I mean it doenst require any skills or anything. Also it doesnt take any time it can be done only few minutes.
It was meant for filling our free time in the first place, we can do it if we have spare time and not necessarily taking big portion of our time, the jobs mentioned above does indeed give a big reward but the time taken is also big, I might aswell take a full-time job if the effort spent is too much.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The success of IEO is Exchange on: July 13, 2020, 09:23:03 AM
Bithumb is a better exchanges if put side by side with p2pb2b or latoken and vindax, im pretty sure that listing fee on bithumb is way lower than what binance will request from new developers it's just that many new devs are too stubborn, they don't even know that Coinmarketcap is a deceiver
they certainly are good enough if compared to the kind of p2pb2b or other that recklessly listing shitcoin and bithumb could be a great start for project that not have big enough funding to enter binance. developers too should aware that exchange is among most essential thing for a project to gain popularity.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Back then and Now, lesson learnt on: July 12, 2020, 08:22:50 AM
I assume low risk low return or even no return at all, these coins which can be easily mined also means that the coin has no miner and not so popular, that's why they are really easy to obtain but if it's gonna be useless at the end i will prefer not to mine at all.
in the past there are many new coin making innovation and one of them could be mined from a smartphone but turns out the project is dead.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Managers and Shit projects on: July 12, 2020, 07:24:31 AM
It's nothing to worry about even if a BM said he doesn't trust the project he is managing, to me it's not bounty managers responsibility to keep his hunters safe, it's a free world, whether the project will succeed or not that's not something that BM can know, it's all try and see
Bounty managers don't need to think about that. but when he promotes too many project scams, he loses their community. it will be bad for her next projects. at least the manager can protect the rights of bounty participants by becoming an escrow from the project for bounty hunters. it looks more promising.
they should be selective because it the project turn out as a scam it will waste many people time and doing promotion for nothing. I think a good manager is the one that always investigate the project that they going to manage, i think that should be the common sense among managers.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is Tether.to/USDT? on: July 12, 2020, 06:57:06 AM
Tether is at the market since 2015 and everything is good with it for several years. Cooperation with Tron made it even better and more safe.
They also did cooperate with several banks to increase their reputation. Usually, I don't care about the rumour going around because I used stablecoin for my transactions and never hold it for too long. It's better if they cooperate with more and more people just to make sure that they are truly legit .
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone trading Stellar coin? on: July 11, 2020, 12:35:56 PM
Well!! Did you know? Stellar is performing really well in the crypto space, several crypto experts assume the stellar price will rise high in the coming next months, and gives good returns on investments.

Here: https://coinpedia.org/information/stellar-price-prediction/

Let me know your point of view on this?

During the last pump, I unfortunately bought XLM at the top at around 780 sats and now waiting for it to retrace it to my buy-in price.

I am not in a hurry 'em as I entered for a long-term hodl and it is good to see that XLM is going back up
Surely it will be back, this is one of the best altcoins in this market and it is this altcoin that helped me learn about this market. I also currently hold XLM in my portfolio and in the long term it will surely bring profit for us.
XLM as I've seen from the past always had this event where they make massive airdrop and then the price will increase. maybe that time will come again although I'm not sure if it could surpass the current ATH considering the market condition.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why we trust binance exchange? on: July 11, 2020, 12:05:14 PM
Binance win the heart of traders easily by giving them exactly what they need, good service, reliable security, good reputation, CZ is getting rich every minutes just by satisfying his exchange users, now binance team are expanding crypto, making it more easy to adopt, no reason not to love this exchange
only if another exchange realizes the things you mentioned is the recipe to be a popular and give a run for binance so that we users could benefit from these exhcanges but no, most of other exchange just trying to list all the shitcoins in existence as long as they pay for the listing fee, the main reason why binance still stand strong until this day.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: July 11, 2020, 11:39:50 AM
Well it's always risky to invest on everything but it more risky to invest on cryptocurrency, I mean it basically decentralized and sometimes it was anonym and turn out to be scam. Just make sure to do deep research on every investment.
not really anonymous if the cryptocurrency project has the developer identity shown in their website like humongous banner. but most of the shitcoin out there have anonymous developer so it's better to stay away from them because huge chance its gonna turn out a scam.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hello everyone! Do you still have confidence in altcoin? on: July 10, 2020, 01:59:41 PM
This is a million dollar question. If I don't have confidence in altcoins anymore then I wouldn't be here anymore. Many are still here because they have confidence in altcoins. In terms of making money, bitcoin can only give little or nothing except you can invest big amount of money in it and wait patiently for the divident.
tons of way earning money out there and not necessarily earning by waiting pump and dump that is a massive waste of time, altcoin could be a reliable way to earn some money but trust me, bitcoin is as good as alts when it comes to making money such as offering services or something else.
