Block_Erupter, this guy has promised to make sites for Quark, Earthcoin, Frozen and probably other coins. He got a lot of donations for the Earthcoin and Quark ones and has yet to deliver anything. I don't recommend we support him just yet.
Agreed. Lets see what he produces before anyone donates a single Fz. If he is already working on a QRK site, let his work speak of his honesty. |

hi guys, seem the GPU miner does not support for pool mining, it's for solo mining only, is this right?
That is correct but it's honestly not worth running. Not going to find much solo mining and smelter takes 10% of the coins. |

Make sure you back up your wallet before doing the update. In the event of an error, you wouldnt want to lose your coins.
Copy your 'Roaming/Frozen/wallet.dat' file and store it somewhere safe (cold storage preferably, good practice anyways) then proceed with the wallet update.
I copied the new files into the old frozen-qt folder, and am syncing just fine. Transactions and coins are still there.

Not quite. Block halving will happen in about 12K blocks, so that leaves you some time to get some coins before it gets more difficult. Any idea on how soon the halving will happen? In less than 5 days, ~4.5 days I believe. Thats what someone calculated on the forums. Price per coin will probably jump in value too. @eon89 I messaged Frozen asking if he needed a mod. I'm on the forums frequently so I offered to help out. It's pretty damn bad right now. |

What are the client issues? I haven't noticed anything wrong.

I love it how my XFX 7970 OC version is kicking 1.6mH/s mining Fz, whereas it is barely 600kH/s mining regular scrypt coins based on LTC
whats the catch? is it the smelter doing this?
who coded the gpu miner for you?
Smelter is 3rd party.... Pretty sure it's just one person coding it. It takes 10% of your mined coins. |

solo mining is really taking a while on my cards and I dont want to waste time
There are no GPU mining pools. That's only good for solo mining right now. |

Frozen will not die. Its one of the nice coins released in these last months. no premine and no easy mining is why this coin will do good. To OP do you have to be patient. There are coins that take sometime to get on exchange. What you should do is, write a new article explaining how it was no premined and no instamined. And people are still not late to join the train. Its a coin which promises to people not to the developers.  IMO people adopt what they keep hearing over and over. Do small giveaways as well. if you got some coins to spare. I'll do a give away this weekend. I'm going to set up another 4 computers to mine some more while the diff is lower... |

Fz just needs a little marketing, but not pushing it super hard in the begining is a good thing, at least how I see it. Let's work out the wallet, the website, and logo, then we can hit the marketing to get people interested in it. The fact that people arent bashing Fz is a great thing... but we do need to generate some buzz around the coin. Just keep working on it and it will happen.

I'm happy now. Got some money on my PayPal from christmas and i'm ready to buy some DimeCoins. Make me an offer via PM. I really believe in DimeCoin and like to buy them, but only if not to expensive  If someone likes to give me a donation, please see my signature. I will spend the income for promotions. This coin needs to get traded, just because of the great name it has. I hope that more people get active. Forget shit coins like doge and cat, this one needs a chance. Paypal can, and will, refund your money if you requested it, leaving the person you bought the coins from in the dust, so you're going to have a hard time buy altcoins with paypal. |
