The project started with a lot of hope but has now fallen behind. The market doesn't lie. This is what happens when schedules are not met and it keeps getting dragged on.
Looks like healthy consolidation. Market does not lie. This is what happens when price goes up in a short amount of time. Things go in cycles.

As someone who watches the Nxt Assets Board almost everyday, we have 3 types of assets. Long term, short term and ...... Long term assets like Supernet, Nxtventure, Jinn, Dorcs, Nxtty and MGW is in my opinion will be the performing assets in 2015. Short term assets like the mining assets are now flourishing in Nxt. Almost everyone of the mining assets are doing well. I can say this because i monitor them. https://nxtforum.org/asset-exchange-general/community-asset-board-summary-(w-i-p)/can you please explain the MGW asset? or provide relevant info please? i understand what multigateway is and im aware of mgw_btc etc ...just confused on what the MGW asset itself is. thanks

I'm writing a short little piece for a class right now on artificial intelligence... came across this gem http://www.meduniwien.ac.at/kpa/publications/2002_AIIM_--_Artificial-Intelligence-Augmented_Systems.pdfThis article in particular gives a nice overview of the history of AI in the first half. Doing some research, there's massive amounts of material on this stuff... the philosophy, ethics, its rather fascinating. Multiple textbooks published within the last 4 years alone. here's a contemplative quote from the article I linked above: "To remain naturally unintelligent or to become artificially intelligent? This is the question, and in dubio pro aegro, the answer"

It dawned on me very early on that with the price of these contracts, theoretically (and with the right algorithm) the owner could just hoard all the BTC and make pretend payouts of bitcoin from the very same coin that the customer paid with. I never looked into the origins of the payouts though...

speaking of mining, I just noticed genesis now supports BTCD! so i just purchased a small amount of sha-256 hashing and set my dial to 100% BTCD to help support this coin and the rest of the superNETwork if anyone is interested I have a promo code - it only takes off 2.5% but I would genuinely appreciate the support. Thanks

These posts only reference the name of this coin, hah, i don't think the name should be changed either. buuuut in the even of a node.js fork to io.js it seems reasonable to ask which side do we want to be on. I looks like its too soon to be picking sides as the fork hasn't even happened, right? It just seems like the 5 of 7 devs threatening to fork the project have our best interests in mind. Not only name of coin. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=590421.msg9741372#msg9741372TheRealSilk know about io.js "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I mean there are other areas that require time and energy. That's the whole point. - the bureaucracy is broke and those 5 devs want to fix it. They don't want the language centralized. Like I said this isn't an urgent matter, as it is only threats at this point. Even if it does fork it seems NODE would be cross compatible with the io.js language. Regardless, it wont make or break the coin, but at some point in the future one language over the other would offer specific advantages (reason for fork). This isn't really an issue until (if and when) such a crossroad occurs. Even then its likely to be trivial. Only time will tell.

http://readwrite.com/2014/11/12/node-js-joyent-possible-fork-schismcommunity and devs should be aware of this... if io.js take off it might be worth switching over nodecoin to the io.js framework as it seems to be more ethically aligned with the values of the bitcoin community and is also cross compatible so it shouldn't be a difficult switch. Ultimately this article just shows the strength of the foundation of this coin and makes me feel pretty good about this investment.
