They were active on the thread a couple of hours ago, butthen went again.  I assume they have a day job as well.

The issue for me is no email confirmations coming through, they are not going to spam, and I can see I am checking the correct email as I can see old withdrawl confirmations in my inbox, but no new ones come through.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 06, 2014, 03:06:02 PM
Tried another withdrawl of just 1000 LEAF to see if things were working.   Guess what.  Still no confirmation email....    And the site is down again.

I have no faith what so ever in this site at the moment, every withdrawl I have tried when the site is up has resulted in no confirmation email.  Used to work perfectly a few weeks ago, but now nothing.
May be your account was bugged. seems like youre the only one that having that problem afaik

There have been other people posting in this thread that have the same problem, not receiving any email confirmation.

Just to show you that mail is being sent:

Yep - I used to get confirmation emails, but I get zero mails for any withdrawls now.   Now have a total of thre withdrawls stuck in "pending".   And still no answer from coinmarlet.io after well over a week and now 4 pm's.  Roll Eyes

coinmarket.io, can you answer one of my now 4 PM's regarding withdrawls that have not received any confirmation email??

I have 1BTC stuck and 1m Leaf.   If you can just manually approve these withdrawls it would be much appreciated.

Aren't you glad no-one took you up on your offer to sell your account?  Smiley

No not really, Ive still not had a response, and the coins were not back in my account when the site was back up a minute ago, so Im still no closer to getting my coins.

And they are offline again now, so doubt Ill be getting a response to the pm's either.

What about the withdrawls that did not receive email confirmation.  I have sent several PM's on this.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 06, 2014, 01:32:37 PM
Offline again, and still no response to PM's, or on this thread.   Wow.  Just wow.

This is terrible Coinmarket.io - the lack of transparency is completely inexcusable.

Is this the Kenneth Bjorke that is registered against Coinmarket.io domain?

He lives in Oslo, recently tweeted about CloudFlare being down, and follows CoinMarket.io.
https://twitter.com/kbjoerke
http://no.linkedin.com/in/kbjoerke

He lists PKI as a skill and follows a group "Ethical Hacker" on LinkedIn.
Looks like he works a day job as Senior IT Operations and Infrastructure for a shipping business called "Fred Olsen": http://www.fredolsen.no/
Can't be too difficult to work out his email address and ask...

That said, this guy could have nothing to do with CoinMarket.io!

This would fit in with the info I found.  The po box now listed has links to fredolson.

Time to make contact with this person and start asking questions.

If exchanges keep scamming people and hackers keep stealing money then it will be inevitable that one of two paths will be taken.

1. Crypto will die as people will simply lose faith or trust in self regulation.
2. Governments around the globe will move to ban them, and all banks/currency exchanges will be barred from accepting crypto currency.

If coinmarket comes back, gives me my 1.007 btc and 5.8m leaf then I will take back every negative word I've said about the exchange, but right now I think I've got more chance of seeing Santa Clause than seeing those coins again.

All the btc deposited seems to have gone to other wallets, and coin market.io has made zero updates recently.  Looks like the coins are gone and the kid running this exchange has either scammed everyone, or has no idea how to admit this problem to us.

if you think they are moving your coins out from your accounts just check your last bitcoin or other coin adress.. you will see that nothing has changed.

Just checked the deposit address for my BTC at coinmarket.io  I can see that the BTC was sent, but then it almost immediately got moved to another address. When I keep following it, it ends up in an address that hass over 2000 BTC which then keeps moving on.

My coinmarket wallet has 0 BTC in it now.

So I guess the exchange has been hacked and coins are now gone.

Care to show me your ID please ?

Here it is:

18sTKjavSKQ5oTCQa2HfHj4UuYHwr24oqp

You can see that I made a deposit of around 0.58 btc. It then got moved out about 90 mins later.

Current balance on that wallet is 0.

This may have been moving off to cold wallet by the exchange?  But I'm guessing if other people do the same, they will eventually see their btc going into a wallet with some 2000+ btc in it.

Your coins are gone, the owner of the exchange is not posting here any more.  Exchange is dead and we have all lost our money.   Hopefully their personal details will be posted up soon and people can go visit them in person if they wish.
96  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinmarket.io Scam Warning on: March 05, 2014, 07:02:32 AM
Absolute garbage.

This exchange is dead.

Anyone who has that much blind faith on this exchange can but my 1.5 btc account for 1btc.   Let's see how much you really believe this exchange is coming back...

Thought not.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 05, 2014, 06:52:15 AM
Surprise surprise, another day without a single update from coinmarket.io

This exchange is dead, and the kid running it hasn't got the balls to tell everyone what has happened.  Roll Eyes
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 04, 2014, 09:33:51 PM
And not a single part of that TOS would stand up to a court of law.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 04, 2014, 09:08:22 PM
I guess they are having problems they are afraid to make public.
On the other hand it was a beta and coinmarket.io cannot be blamed for any issues.
They can be blamed for not updating us though !

If it was "beta" then why increase the fees.  Whynhave fees at all on a beta??

Sticking a beta label on a site is not a get out of jail free card when they lose everyone's money.

14 hours without an update, wow  Shocked

Its been a week without a response from coinmarket about my issues, so I'm not going to jump on another exchanges thread just yet.

The people over at poloniex are out 12% of their coins.  I'm out 100% of mine, yet there are pricks on this thread posting that they withdrew 3btc that wasn't even theirs.  Well fucking done.  They stole 3 btc from this exchange, yet people posting here are out 0.2, 0.1, 1.0 etc and they think its OK.

User Battleorigin has stolen 3btc from the exchange:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=454186.msg5491739#msg5491739

How many more like him?

That's why we aren't getting any updates, there is no btc left at the exchange, just this kid can't be bothered to tell everyone.

Perhaps the user battle origin would like to use that 3btc to give people like myself and others back the money they lost on the exchange?   Would seem the right thing to do.

Though I'll bet there is more chance of me having a piss on Barack Obamas desk than that happening.
