81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple will be great again on: July 16, 2018, 05:18:33 AM
I feel as though not adding Ripple to Coinbase must've dented a lot of investors' confidence. Not to mention its centralized structure which is totally counter to the goals of a decentralized network. Yet Ripple's shills will continue, I still remember December 2017 when Ripple was the next big thing and would overtake Ethereum in 2nd place market cap. That hasn't happened and I don't believe ever will, personally I got in, made some cash and got out, good luck if your bag is heavy.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN Launch Know Your Developer (KYD) - New days of secure investing are here! on: July 12, 2018, 11:46:49 AM
I think this is a great idea and exactly what the new token/coin market needs! There've been more than enough scam coins set loose on the market with investors left holding heavy bags after the developers sold out, took the money and ran. This project brings authenticity and credibility to the space, something that is sorely lacking. Awesome initiative and I wish the team all the best  Wink

Possibly good potential here, high ROI at the start, hopefully won't be another mining s***coin, active devs in the discord.

85  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which is the best exchange for Bitcoin buying? on: July 02, 2018, 10:45:03 AM
I want to buy bitcoin. I want to know some of the good bitcoin exchange information. Bitcoin can be purchased using a debit card or a credit card?

I would go with Binance exchange. They have great volume on the exchange and is ranked as on of the best available to anyone buying cryptos.
86  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Questions about Bitcoin with merit awards/ on: June 29, 2018, 11:43:01 AM
I'm a bit of a noob to blockchain in general but I'll do my best to simplify it for those who are just starting out in this wonderland.

The blockchain is at its most basic form, a ledger. This ledger keeps track of transactions which are linked together (the blocks).
Every change to the ledger (incoming or outgoing crypto transactions) is signed to prove that the person actually owns the coins.
This ledger is also stored on every miner's computer so there can be no discrepancies. The beauty of the system is no-one needs to know the identity of where their transaction went. A person withdraws btc from their wallet, the transaction is sent onto the blockchain, and a short period of time later, it arrives at the destination. The allure is the decentralized nature of the beast, no banks to pass throughor looking up SWIFT codes, days waiting for funds to be accepted if in another country, it's virtually anonymous.

Hope this clears it up a bit, good luck on starting out on this journey, sometimes I really do feel like Alice in Wonderland, the potential for Blockchain is just starting to be realized but it's definitely a future prospect for many companies.

Also be careful of investing in an ICO without doing some thorough research-checking out the website, white paper and the developers. Take a look at their Github as well, has there been a lot of activity recently in regards to development. I was once like you, crypto and trading is definitely an adventure so jump in and enjoy the ride!
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ATM machine for bitcoin reached kenya on: June 24, 2018, 06:49:20 AM
If a developing country like Kenya can have a bitcoin ATM, there’s no reason for other nations not to have one. I guess their leaders know what’s good for their country.

Totally agree, I wish bitcoin atm implementation will be much greater worldwide so everyone can have an easy outlet to get their hands on some corn. I think Africa has been overlooked as a massive potential market for crypto, there's a lot of wealth around there contrary to popular belief, and I think marketing efforts should target and include that continent more.
89  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the useful tips for beginners? on: June 22, 2018, 11:42:45 AM
Also to be careful with low marketcap coins, in one instance you could see massive 2x-10x profits if your coin starts to moon, on the other you could be stuck with something that'll take 6 months to move a few satoshis. Do your research carefully before plunging headfirst into the s***coin pool!
90  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do if you lose $2,000 in trading? on: June 22, 2018, 10:54:52 AM
I feel your pain with that amount of loss, it's safe to say most of us have been on the losing side of a trade, probably often. My dilemma in this situation is when the experts tell you to "dollar cost average," buy in more at a lower price, but for me this is tough when you're already in a deep hole and you gotta throw more money into it. Psychologically and emotionally we're screaming at ourselves not to do it. Trading sure loves to play and toy with our emotions sometimes.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in the cryptocurrency market? on: June 21, 2018, 02:01:09 AM
btc price stay in low price for along time. I guest btc price will going up this weekend

Let's hope so. I still fully believe in crypto and the incredible potential of the blockchain, even through the fud and the scams. All it takes is a little adoption from some of the major players and we'll see a major turnaround. Personally I believe crypto provides a massive opportunity for the layman to achieve financial independence.
92  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do we complain when the market is down? on: June 20, 2018, 10:20:12 AM
It's often good to zoom out and look at the bigger picture-just a year ago (June 20th) the price was at $2700. A year before that on this day it was $728, so I sill think we're seeing exponential growth the problem is many new cryptotraders are lusting after the heydays of December and the thrills of waking up to see your investment had gone up another 10%. I miss them too, but this is a waiting and patience game, the tides will turn around, history says they always do.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: best exchange for traders on: June 19, 2018, 10:28:20 AM
I'd say Binance is the best exchange for traders right now-good security, nice UI and good volume. I'd highly suggest downloading the desktop app as trading has significantly less lag. Also take a look at their BNB coin as its been making gains over the past month which many other coins have been struggling to do.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: THE LIST OF BOUNTYHUNTERS SERVICES on: June 19, 2018, 12:50:22 AM
This is an amazing list of resources, thank you so much! Had no idea there was so much available, I think if you were serious about this you could give up your day job and do this full time!
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy has lost 103 Bitcoins on: June 14, 2018, 11:17:01 AM
I heard about a guy whose laptop was accidentally tossed away with a bunch of bitcoins on it, he wanted to hire a digger and head to the dump to try get it back! Shame... Cry
96  Economy / Speculation / Re: Need money... on: June 13, 2018, 12:21:45 PM
I think it's smart to stick by the adage of "never invest more than you can afford to lose," which I generally ignored lol, instead had the "when lambo" infatuation...
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more effective Bounty or Airdrops ? on: June 12, 2018, 12:10:18 PM
If you have enough time to do both join bounty campaigns and also do an airdrops, you never know what would be better for you!

I do airdrops and hodl the token, you never know what the future holds, if the price drops off a cliff then no big deal but 2-5 years down the road they could be worth something decent.
98  Other / Archival / Re: Do you believe Crypto Currency is changing the world? on: June 11, 2018, 10:49:34 AM
I think it's just a matter of time before mass adoption. When there is significant progress made with ease of use and the average Joe has no problems using it then we'll see a massive spike. I feel crypto's reputation needs to be safeguarded to protect its future, some strong, positive reinforcement is necessary and needs to be maintained. Remember all the naysayers who said the 'net would never take off.
99  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does IQ greatly affect a person's success in trading? on: June 11, 2018, 10:37:03 AM
I don't think IQ has a major part to play; for me self-discipline, some knowledge, but most importantly emotional control is the most important. There's been a few times I was caught out buying the top after seeing a massive green candle only for the price to plunge an hour later...
