You have a very valid point in that it comes down to what existing "float" is traded from the outstanding coins, however, lets take it to an extreme. If all the existing holders of the coins wanted to sell at $1 (unrealistic I know), there would need to be $75 million in investment to absorb it. No one knows when and where people will take profits at, but I'd rather see a slow and gradual rise that allows weak sellers the chance to get out with profits and longs to pick up the available supply than a double after double with no support so when all the sellers want to rush to the exit, there is actually buyers waiting to absorb it all.
...and before anyone thinks of questioning my agenda here, I hold xxx,xxx number of coins.
Why is it when someone starts debating the future value of BlackCoin and they seem as if they have an agenda, they always find a way to slip in how much BC they own? lol, I just wanted to let people know that I have skin in the game and am not out to bash the coin for the sake of bashing. I'm not out to wage war on you or BC. I like this coin and don't have any beef with you. I just don't want this to turn into a P&D when the coin could rise steadily and support itself on its own. I wish people would stop writing P&D. At this point It is difficult to P&D this coin. FYI: I quickly counted the present sell orders all the way up to 66000 sat, it is approximately $83,380. We will be trading at 0.24 cents by the morning ....Wrong again, just like in the article. Do you have any idea how much 0.24 cents is?

Don't want to rain on the parade (i have a BC stack too), but what happens when other coins get multipools? NXT already has it, FAC too?, etc, NEM is thinking about it...
Too late. BC was/is the pioneer and we have the community....do they?

I have totally no interest in the Announcements section anymore lol, I'm sticked to this thread. Anyone recognize this behaviour?

How long does it take for a transaction to go from my local wallet to Mintpal ? I sent BC 15 minutes ago and is not showing up, not even in "pending" ... Is there a decent block explorer to check ? The balance on the QT client says 0
You are chickening out and deserve an unlimited transaction time.

yes the multipool mines other coins, and with the profit from that BC is bought.
So we have a constant buying pressure.
Which means Blackcoin acts like a parasite that needs to suck the life of other coins in order to stay alive! This unfortunately reflects the worst of the human condition!!! So just like humans are destroying the earth resources and will die when there is no resources left to preserve the human species so will Blackcoin die when there is no profitability on mining other coins because they will eventually die and the more people jump into Blackcoin's multipool and off other coins network the fastest this process will come to a result!!! So either we have more shit tons of coins released in the following months/years and a market for them to feed Blackcoin or this coin eventually will also logically die!!! This strategy is not the brightest of them all in the long run!!! Once BC is an established coin, we don't need multipools anymore.

Man! We need to take that mofo with his 46BTC wall down....it would be the last time that he touched BC!

black wednesday? no?
Not really, no evidence of any "Wall St." investors, just a PRWeb article. The coin is still on a natural upward trend though! The fundamentals are strong, and the people involved are (for the most part) capable We probably want to keep the number of huge claims about big investors (that end up being nothing) to a minimum, though, so as not to befoul our beloved coin's image... Definitely, it's good to remember that people should need to earn trust before we throw money at them. Thank you for your comments. I have been waiting to see what you would post. I think I have more than earned the trust of this community. 1. I announced the press release and raised money for the project. I used the money exactly the way I said I would. 2. I announced BlackOut Weds and 10 minutes after my announcement the price shot up over 1000 sat. That is a FACT... 3. By Tuesday BlackCoin was trading at over 10,000 on 2 exchanges. This was way before the CoinKite announcement or Multipool buy support. 4. Our press release goes live and the entire community was and still is talking about the release. Even BITCOIN tweeted about BlackCoin. 5. By Afternoon NYC time, buy support was established at multiple levels on Mintpal, and more than 30 BTC was spent just to establish a stable floor. Ask anyone trading and they can confirm this. This has never been done before in the BC market, who do you think put up all that BTC? It wasn't mysterious magic forum trolls that put up that buy support. 6. After all the news and hype BlackCoin is still trading at an all time high and has not quickly retreated to 7000 after reaching 9000+, which has happened multiple times before. Now sir tell me how wasn't the promotion, hype, or press release a success??? PS: I came through on EVERYTHING I promised and more. I also remember YOU saying you would donate after the press release went live. Lets see YOU follow through....EDIT: I want to make it clear I am not demanding donations. I could care less if you donated. But I am pointing out if anyone didn't follow through it was you. 1. I'm glad you used some of the money towards the press release. The unaccountable way you did it is still irresponsible. You should have definitely given more information and used escrow. 2. Correlation does not equal causation. Also, you said there would be serious investors involved on Wednesday. There is absolutely no indication that is true in any manner. 3. If I tell people that I'm going to do a press release about gold and then the price for gold goes up (barely 15% and temporarily) does that mean it was because of my announcement? Absolutely not. 4. If you could link me to Bitcoin's tweet I would be much obliged. 5. Once again, correlation does not equal causation. You have no proof of any "Wall Street investors" doing aything. That's not to mention that to actual investors, the equivalent of $15,000 is not exactly earth shattering. 6. Correct, BlackCoin has strong fundamentals and is on an upward trend. This rubber-banding pattern has been happening since before your decelerations. It's been consistent. Look at the charts. Now sir tell me how wasn't the promotion, hype, or press release a success??? Well, sir, I will tell you. The promotion was, in reality, an expensive and poorly written ad that isn't visible to people not specifically looking for it. There was no WSJ piece written about it. It wasn't visible on Yahoo unless you went to the direct link. It sounds like a blatant ad to any smart reader. The hype was a pack of exaggerations as well. There were no "investors", there was no huge price jump, there was no real news coverage. Once again, the press release didn't do anything, reach anybody, or prove anything. Anybody with half a grand can get the same sort of release. I said I would donate if the goal wasn't met when the release went out. The goal was me before that point. Don't get me wrong, an actual media push is a great idea. However, it should be run in a transparent manner. What really irks me is your egotistical declarations. It seems like you fancy yourself as some sort of PR god that breathed value into BlackCoin. You didn't. Quiet working people like the developer (rat4), the community manager (Soepkip), and multipool developers, have given this coin real value. They shut up and put up until they have actual, quantifiable results. Soepkip's announcement about Coinkite was great. He didn't spend half of it grandstanding about his important ( and actual) role. So please, feel free to run ads, contribute, and comment. Just don't act like you're God's gift to this community. +10 +100 - we are all here, and will be holding each other accountable, as we all want this coin to succeed... +1000 We all know who does what, no need to act like an arrogant pr*ck.

Is there a way how we can counter attack the dumper who keeps it below 10k? I'm getting pretty tired of his game.
Just a brainfart: Can we just collect the blackcoinpool profits for a few days and than buy the shit up? The whale will shit in his pants when his fake walls gets instafilled by us?

MintPal @MintPalExchange 4 min.
#BlackCoin has had an amazing month with us, to thank the users for their support we have donated 50,000 BC to their @CoinKite goal. Holy shit!

what happened to that wallstreet associates? Are they having a day off today?
+1 How the feck can you say this kind of things. I called it bullshit immediatley when I saw that part of text. A little bit of exaggeration is ok, but this is just plain BS. Edit: Oh shit, I forgot WS is not open yet lol.

Devteam created momentum and dump before the "news" which isn't there?
Would be a great cryptojoke. I don't buy it though ;-)
Still doubting ? Ehhmmsssss.....I never doubted. Only thing I think of is "Uhmmm, lot of blabla hype and playing the bigshot with big talk", but the only feeling I have is "Is this it?". This is exactly where I was afraid of, create a massive expectation but no real delivery. Still hodling like a boss though.

So that's it? A pressrelease and nothing more? I expected the world to shake.....
